Title bar Clock! - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro ROM Development

Has anyone noticed that the clock bar gets updated almost 27 seconds after when the minute figure has increased!
Any today plug-in that displays time reading, gets updated immediately, but not the title bar clock!
Is this normal?

Time delay about 22 sec on the title bar

I find the time on title bar is delay about 22 sec than the real time. For exsample in the clock setting time is 2:00:00 but the time on title bar is only show 1:59, after the clock setting time is 2:00:22 then the time on title bar will change to 2:00.
Is anybody have the same problem?

I too had that problem, but it was with my Titan.
I guess it's just Windows

Timer app that shows remaining time in notification bar?

Hi all,
On my old Motorola Milestone 2 there was a fab timer app that would show the remaining time, including minutes and seconds, in the notification bar. I can not seem to find anything similar to that for my Samsung Captivate Glide.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!:good:
Bit of a weird name but the very tiny sized Doomsday Timer does :good:

Hi - thanks so much for the suggestions. This almost works - but the problem is that it does not show the remaining time in minutes and seconds in the notification bar, without dragging it down/opening it, so you can't see it on the lock screen.
Anything else?

[Q] Notification bar not responding and icons disappear

Hi, I'm on CROMI 4.5 but the same issue was present on 3.x. Several times a day all icons in notification bar except clock and battery disappear and bar turns to non-responsive. Usually this happens few seconds after screen on. Back/Home icons on the left side work well btw. After some time icons may appear and bar becomes responsive.
Does anyone have any clues? Thanks!

Transparent Bar At Top of Screen

Just got an S7 about a month ago, and it's all been smooth-sailing until this morning.
I was browsing through my gallery when I noticed a transparent bar at the top of the screen, where the Status Bar usually is (The Status Bar is hidden in the Gallery app when viewing pictures). This bar is consistent throughtout all apps on the phone, including on the home screen, and the notification bar. It's a different shade to the rest of the phone, with the look of the image "behind" the bar being distinctly different from that of the rest of the screen. I really don't know how to describe it. This is driving me crazy, because it's a new phone and I'm not sure if this is issue is software-related (an overlay of some sort) or a problem with the actual screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: The phone has been dropped once, but it wasn't major enough to cause something like this to happen (I think).
EDIT: The transparent bar is exactly the same size as the status bar.
Sounds like burn-in, nothing you can do other than replace the screen
Happens to Amoled screens when you leave the same image in the same place on the screen for extended lengths of time / high brightness
It's what screensavers were designed for PCs back in the days of green screens
Sounds an awful lot like what happened to my moms phone recently and it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Maybe you accidentally took a screenshot and made that your wallpaper. So see if changing the wallpaper makes it go away.

That's a widget thing only. Remove it in back-screen-setting.

i want to say , its Status bar ( download icon, wifi, clock, gsm,...) not is widget notification.
I fully second this. Also after like an hour of inactivity, clocks on the EPD stop updating properly. For example its 01:21, but the clocks on my Y3+ (updated from Y3) still show 01:03. Only the clock on the status bar are correct, but first of all, I don't want the status bar on my EPD, and secondly they are too small to consider them convenient at that point anyway.
Would really, really love to hear about solutions to both of those issues :-| The status bar has no reason to exist on the back of the phone. I just wish Y3+ was just a Y2 in regards to the EPD.
workaround for me is to enable the lockscreen with the second screen app but just leave it empty - so I just get a blank white screen with the locked icon and nothing else - most importantly: no statusbar.
most of the apps I use on the e-ink side have fullscreen support, so it doesnt annoy me during actual use.
but yeah, bit of a weird thing to not give us any settings for.
Ye, for me, the "actual use" for a phone with always on screen is seeing a nic clock (and other info) on its back. Thats the most important, seeing clock/weather/notifications/potentially other widget thingies (I inda liked the step countner on the chinese version). But the status bar is something that's not usable "at a glance", its too small for that so it has no place there.
But lately, I'm most annoyed by the clocks not updating properly when the phone is in sleep mode for a few hours, I can't trust the clock anymore, f*ck I hate that about it so much.

It's a late response, but I'm glad I'm not the only one with the time sync problem. I miss the YotatHub clock and battery widgets :-(
I finally discovered how to fix it:
Go to Settings -> Battery -> Click upper right 3 dots -> Choose 'Battery optimization' -> Choose clock app -> Click 'Don't optimize' -> Click 'Done' and you're done! Now your clock will always update
