Hi , I have the 750v unlocked and using it on my T-mobile account . I have everything working ;WAP,Internet, Email etc, but I cant send an MMS it gets to 90% then hangs.
I have copied as best I can the MMS settings from my prophet to the MMS setup in the new SMS/MMS program but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone , thread underneath the MMS operator settings within their TREo SMS/MMS application so that I can figure what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks in advance
PS not sure if you knew this but this stops the security questions when installing software its the same as I use on my prohet and is HTC signed .
I seem to be experiencing a problem with sending and receiving MMS. I checked all the MMS settings on the cingular site and they are correct. I compose an MMS and it goes to the outbox and never attempts to send it. After a while of checking it in the outbox an envelope appears with an arrow scrolling over it with a percent complete to the left of it but it stays at 0%. If anyone else is experiencing this problem or know any solutions your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don't know if your settings are right. But at the HTC website you can download a cab installer for each country and provider that adjust the right settings for you about mms and so on.
Problem solved figured out that it was not the actual MMS settings on the device but Expressmail was somehow preventing the MMS from being sent out. I had to uninstall xpressmail and now the MMS works like a charm. Now just have to find a way to connect to my corporate email.

It seems that they only cover europe.
I'm running TNT 5.0 touch flo rom (loving it) and when i first flashed it onto my device, mms worked for the first time since wm5, even with all server settings correct. i have since flashed it on again and have the same server settings but upon hitting send/receiver or an mms showing up ready for download, i get an immediate "error synchronizing" at the bottom. can someone shed some light on this? thanks.
I have read many places that this notice occurs, even though your MMS is setup and working properly. You may want to try sending an MMS to a friend, and then asking a friend to send one to you, to test if you can actually send/receive.

yea i can't send or receive at this point.. there's one lingering out there waiting for download and sometimes it'll even say it's downloaded 99% but dissappear for a while and start the process over.
Any Solution to This Yet??

I am having this issue/problem too. Has anyone posted a solution yet?
This problem is bit similar to mine i had after i bought wizard from T-Mobile. And the problem was in MMS settings. The MMS settings should be propper set in connections and Arcsoft MMS Composer too. I had this problem when i used settings preconfigured from my operator after a while someone released cab file to configure MMS and Internet connection direct for my operator needs and it started to work. So check your settings carefuly in Settings/Connections and in Arcsoft MMS Composer too
What's happening guys? I've searched through forum after forum trying to figure out why my Boost EVO won't send picture messages and have yet to find a solution to my problem. I did the ##3282# thing, went to Advanced & changed the MMS Server URL to http ://mm.myboostmobile.com (I put the space between the http & the ://mm.myboostmobile.com because I'm a new poster so this site wouldn't allow me to post it due to possible spamming) & still haven't had any luck at all. I can receive picture messages with no problem, but when I go to send them, it appears as if they've been sent out, but the phone that they're sent to never receives them. I've tested this out myself by sending a few picture messages from my Boost EVO to my Cricket EVO, which has no problem sending or receiving mms, and it never receives the picture messages from the Boost EVO. Anybody have any suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanx
i have same exact problem
Yea im frustrated it seems nobody knows how to fix this im running ultimate droid 3.3 and everything works flawless except i can not send mms can recieve sms and send but no matter what ive tried as far as apps deleting file and other fixes somebody with more experince please help htc evo on boost mobile oh and the data fix ##data#does nothing wont even ask for msl which i have i hit send and everything nothing /
I tried for 2 weeks to get mms on my new Evo (flashed to Boost). I finally found a solution! I had to post because 1) xda-developers is awesome and 2) I'm so grateful to the original author of the solution (sorry I don't have the name or link for credit) I wanted to pass it along.
Sounds like you guys are running CM ROMs...##3282# doesn't work with CM, but don't worry, you don't need it! OK, ready for the crazy simple fix?? Here goes:
Download and install GoSmsPro from Market
Open the app and go to Menu>Settings>MMS Settings>APN Configuration
Check the Fill APN Configuration Manually box
MMSC = mm.myboostmobile (you know the rest)
Leave MMS Proxy blank
MMS Port = 80
Reboot your phone
That's it! You should now be able to send mms. Still trying to find a fix to receive mms directly instead of having to use web browser. If anyone has a solution please post!

There are just 5 posts in this thread and the first post spells out the mm.myboostmobile.com. I can't verify whether setting this in GO SMS Pro is sufficient or not. I did go and get GO SMS but I also did the ##DATA# >Edit>Advanced thing and changed the MMS from the sprint one.
I am getting MMS messages working in BOTH directions. IMPORTANT: At first I was having failures in sending. That was because I forgot to use the whole 10 digit number to send to. They appeared to be sent but they didn't go anywhere. Then I tried sending one to my own number which happened to be complete with area code. A couple seconds later I received it back. Shortly after that I got a message from Boost Mobile telling me that my Media Mail account was activated. So, it may be that simple. Half-working is not good enough.

I dont think boost will be willing to help if I tell them that I have an evo on their network... it sucks on the stock rom that my evo was flashed, mms works fine, and my data wont drop... but if i go with cm7 my mms will not send although it says it was sent and I can receive mms... ohhh and my data goes out every 10 min, so I have to turn 3g on and off to get it working again... but I dont want a sense rom, I love cm7...

OK so its a CM based problem. Make sure you don't turn background data off or mms will not send on CM based roms. The fact that your data keeps swiping is my mms won't send.
I am trying to solve this problem too. I have changed the address in the advanced ##DATA# menu but that doesn't do anything.
I have the 1/11/2012 Energy ROM installed, fresh install actually. Any suggestions?
EDIT: This seems to be related to the ROM, I nandroided back to my original rom and outgoing MMS works.
Not sure where that leaves me now though
if u would like to know the easiest way to do this message me and I will give the instructions. it doesnt require any other apps just your meid.

I think you solved this without knowing.
I just flashed my EVO 4G LTE to boost and everything was good short of being unable to send MMS over 3g (wifi was fine)
You posted to leave the MMS Proxy blank.
So I went into EPST and made sure that mms destination address as correct and then wnet nad set the mms proxy to blank and now I can send mms over 3G.
For some reason I can't see MMS attachments that have been sent to me. The messages just show up empty.
Is this a bug? If so is there a fix? Or is there some setting I should change?
Apologies if this issue has been addressed in an earlier thread - I couldn't seem to find any info.
i think that is a known bug...for mms just enable the data from your carrier and u'll be able to send and receive mms
does not work with wifi data
i have the same problem. i´ve enabled data and set it up as my provider posted on his website.
when i receive a mms, i see that is a mms and how big the attachment is. then cm7 shows me that he´ll download the attachment and after a while i can read the text and see the filename from the picture, but there is no picture.
Lu
Ok let me try those fixes. Thanks very much for the help.
