I got a small kinda annoying problem with my jamin after i flashed it with jester 2.2 r1 rom . the rom is working great , fast and stable but the only problem is when i open the phone module in settings, the device becomes very slow and the module won't open and i have to soft reset to work good and fast again (it opened once after about 15 to 20 minutes of waiting).
I tried hard reset many times with no success.
is there a solution for this?
Thanks in advance
I found out that the notification tab in sounds and notification module in sittings doesn't open too. i guess there's something wrong when a system module tries to locate wav files to use in notification.
Do a hard-reset on your prophet... Let me know if the problem comes up again...
done it twice, still the same problem.
should i reflash the rom again? is it safe to do so?
Use Jester 22 r1 and tested all the mentioned..
Hi,
I use Jester 2.2 r1 and tested all the mentioned locations.
All open up immediately.
The ROM is OK as far as I can tell
Daniel
It works fine now
What happened is the battery got empty and the phone went dead, few minutes later i put it in the charger and when it charged i found it working fine i even soft reset the device to make sure and i tried it and it worked as fast as it could !!

Hey guys 've been using CM for ages so havent really been on the scene since CM updater was introduced I know that might sound lazy but when sometimes works this well I've just been updating on the fly whenever one was available.
A few days ago my phone went from mounting all the time via usb to being a bit dodgy and then finally I couldnt mount it at all. Had a look around on a couple of forums for some ideas but nothing worked. I also noticed when looking around 2.1 was out for the G1 - CM 5.0.8 - I assumed it wasnt on the updater as it was so new so downloaded it. Checked I had the right SPL (which luckily i did i guess from an old hero rom) Flashed it for an updated look and hopefully to fix the usb issue.
I did a nandroid back up just incase.
Flashed looked awesome was a super fast rom look ace too - played with it for a while set my alarm charged it over night and went to sleep. It woke me up all was good... made a few calls thn left it. A few hours later randomly starts rebooting. Plugging it into the usb made it reboot even more - Its like it had a mind of its own.
To cut a long story short I've tried tonnes of stuff and yeah im pulling my hair out too could it be a kernel issue? like i said im a bit rusty but i'll tell you what i know anyway.
I'm running a fairly up to date version of Amon recovery
I wiped data then installed the rom (worked great at first)
noticed that even tho i'd wiped it before installing rom - all my apps were still present and installed / working
I also tried a nandroid restore which worked lot of frustration as whenever the phone seemed to be unlocked or do well pretty much anything it'd reboot.
I started thinking it was the hardware / battery etc but I'm really not sure. It might be a corrupt SD card who knows has anyone got any ideas?
I just have no idea why my usb mounting stopped workign randomly and I'm also super confused how a rom that seemed to be working perfectly is now not. Infact my G1 isnt even letting into recovery img or fastboot for longer than a few seconds sometimes before it powers off - its becoming very irregular....sometimes i can get in and reflash and sometimes i cant and i cant even mount via recovery image....
please help with any suggestions I have no SD card reader with me here and obv no USB mounting what can i do?
at fastboot this is my info - dream PVT 32B ENG S-OFF HBOOT-1.33.2005 (DREA11000) CPLD-4 Radio-2.22.19.261
the weird thing is its so random if its left it keeps rebooting sometimes getting into the rom and the htc welcome setup but when i try to use it it turns off.... sometimes the LED works like its charging sometimes it doesnt....
Even when i go into recovery and use my backup of my original rom (the one that worked fine but no usb mounting) that still keeps rebooting now.... whats messed it up so much?
I really need some help!
I was running sense-o-maniac with stock kernel and was tryng out some car kit apps. I installed car dock home v3 and was playing with the settings when I disabled the wifi setting. My phone rebooted and hasn't stopped since. (it starts get the unlock ring , and 5 seconds later everything freezes and reboots).
I wiped cache /dalvik etc and reflashed the desense rom.. It still happens.. Then I thought , well maybe I just need to do a superwipe. I pushed (since i cannot get my phone connected long enough) the script to the sd card , but it is nowhere to e found in the clockworkmod..
What happened? I'm getting a bit desperate here..
BTW the rom worked great for a long time .. 5 weeks i think or more..
any suggestions???
I cleaned all data , did a superwipe , reflashed the rom and everything works better than before
So after searching for solution for days I felt that now its the need to start a new post for new occurring problems in Samsung sl gt-i9003. Wile changing the chassis of my phone I accidentally broke the white wire which is known as board connector or Samsung flex wire. Once I got the shipment I fixed my phone, but a new issue came forward. I used Odin to flash rom with the latest rom and since then my phone keeps on rebooting and even if then it reaches setup screen where you select language then touch screen becomes unresponsive and I keep on seeing "process system not responding". So I flashed my phone over dozen times, even went back to foryo but nothin helped. Somewhere it suggested that try rootin your phone and then go to recovery mode and wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache and then fix permission, and reboot, and it worked. Touch screen started
Working so he doubt about sensor going bad is gone. So something about the dalvik cache and fix permission. But then my wifi gives error when I switch on, so I tried *#*#526#*#* to load driver but always came with unsuccessful
So I finally ran out of options and I am writing this post asking you all to help
This is my current config
PDA I9003XWLF2
PHONE I9003XXLE4
CSC I9003XXLF1
I am using Bagaria for rooting. Rest all rooting not working on mine. The software is poland's version of Samsung SL Gt i9003. With the new software updates the old rooting packages are giving glitches so I am open for new suggestions. Please suggest steps too. I tried remix ics, miui, ethenonx, etc to make wifi work. Only trouble, too much battery consumption in miui and rest has too much load on ram which is making wifi glitch.i am not a novice but at this moment I ran out of options and clues. I need my phone to start without rooting it. Even if I have to root every feature should work then.
Thank you
looks like none of you have any solution to the problem posted
i thought android gurus might have some trick saved up their sleeves
try flashing dhirus cm10 rom
I have an LG G2 ( d802 - International) which has some issues with wifi and Bluetooth. On my phone mac addresses(both wifi and Bluetooth) are not showing up. It happened yesterday when I was using my phone which was running cm13, all of a sudden the wifi stopped so at first I tried to turn it off and on again, which didnt seem to work because the wifi didnt turn on (I dont really need bluetooth as of my daily life). So I rebooted my phone and the problem persisted. So i decided to factory reset with TWRP ( I normally reset once every so often to speed up my phone again , and at this point my phone was getting really slow). Which I did, but then something wired happened... The upgrading android dialog box came up after the reset and it showed ~140 apps. But normally that wouldnt happen after a reset. I didnt mind that and checked to see if the wifi worked again, yet no luck. So I went for a full format of data, which also popped up with the upgrading android. So I thought maybe it was to do with the rom, and decided to try out some other rom. So i had 2 roms on my sdcard at that time, Dorimanx-V9.7-LP and the stock lg rom. At first when i tried the Dorimanx rom it didnt work and wasnt booting right so I was not bothered to fix and I went for the stock rom which worked.. and it happened again... upgrading android dialog box. So i started researching and saw it mention that this could be a cause of bootloaders not being the right version, now i do not know a lot about bootloaders so I couldnt really do anything. I tried to update twrp with auto rec ( i got the apk thru usb from pc to phone), which worked yet still no fix.
*Seen some other threads and tried the following with no success*
Deleting the contents of : /data/misc/wifi/
Factory resetting
Details:
Lg G2 (D802)
Wifi and bluetooth not working ( No mac addresses)
Running :Stock Lollipop rom for lg
Rooted
Twrp version : 2.8
Any Help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance! :good:
Hello guys,
within the last days my phone got really slow, so I decided to reinstall my OS (cyanogenmod 11) + some "optimization Tools".
At first everything worked fine...but at some point I probably did a mistake because atm my phone just makes an unhealthy sound and restarts, usually at the sim card unlock screen after some seconds (ODIN and CWM work fine).
I used CWM to delete everything and reinstalled Cyanogenmod(because thats the only ROM I have on my phone and I cant copy anything on it) ...but nothing happened -> same OS, same Apps, same Setting...and same problem
Then i tried out ODIN3....it took around 20 minutes to install my stock rom....but NOTHING changed, still cyanogenmod, still WA installed, still userdata...
Am I missing permissions to delete the files on my phone or what is going on ?
Any suggestions on how to fix it with cwm or ODIN ?
Thanks in advance
Hope it's ok to push after 8 hours :c
