Who's got the original dutch ROM file? - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Software Upgrading

Hi,
I'd like to upgrade my ROM. But also want to be able to restore to the original ROM again. Just in case something goes wrong or for future warranty issues.
The file used to be here on the ftp site. But as you al know the site is closed (unfortunately).
Is there anyone who could upload (or e-mail) the original dutch ROM?
The filename is RUU_Prophet_2100725_21007105_020720_QtekNLD_Ship.
Thanks very much,
Rob

Would be interested as well
I've a new O2 with german rom, I'm searching abot OS ENG ROM or I prefer the ITALIAN rom.
Before I delete my GER rom, If you want I can dump this for you. Do you have a O2 ENG or (the best) ITA rom (Qtek or i-mate)?.

I've finally got mine backed up before i flashing it with i-jaming newest rom. But it is backed as dump. .. and as far as i know, to reflash it back later (i.e. if you/have want to), it has to be a .nba format. but i do not know how to convert it to that format.
If anybody knows how please let me know and i'll post the finished product here.
Thanks
Peace
ummm ... i would kindly appreciate if someone could backup its current ROM and upload it to xda ftp.
What ROM, OS, RADIO version is this? Currently i have the Qtek German ROM (see signature). Is the EXT ROM also available?
Regards,
Falk
I am also very interested in flashing mine to an english rom (qtek, etc), but I do also want the option of going back to the GErman Rom if need be...but, i have not seen the original German (Neo) rom posted. Does anyone know where this can be found? The O2 site has nothing....
thanks...
folks, the german (or whatever languaged roms) mostly pop up as soon as the carrier (o2, tmobile, orange, ...) or oem (qtek, imate) have a update rom available, so it is usually no problem to install your prefered rom now and then go back to the original as soon as you want to sell the device. also if you think that switching the rom may harm your warranty:
1) it's always possible to f*ck up the rom version you have on your device in case of a hardware issue (simply start any update and the unplug the usb), so your beloved device becomes a paperweight and noone can say what rom you've used; 2) would changing the os on your desktop pc harm any warranty? no. so there you go whenever someone asks.
you don't need to change the cid of your device, there's a modified upgrade_utility, so you can always go back to the original state of rom as soon as your carrier releases one.
go update now ...
cheers, lutz

Clarification of ROM Upgrading

Hi,
I am expecting my German XDA in the mail in the next few days.
I have been reading this forum for the past 2 weeks, and have tried to wade through all the great advice to educate myself on ROM upgrading issues. I would like to clarify that I understand this properly.
As I understand, in order to render my new XDA "O2-free" and customizable, not to mention english, I need to install a new ROM - probably the latest Imate ROM or maybe the PDAMobiz ROM.
Before I do this, should I Unlock the CID? From my reding, this will allow me to the install any ROM.
Is this an accurate understanding of everything involved?
Are there other better options to achieve my goal of a non-branded non-operator specific Jamin/Neo?
Is there a way to save my original German O2 ROM if it became necessary to return the unit for service?
I hope people do not object to thsi post. I know that it can be irritating when newbies post on topics which have already been discussed thoroughly. I have spent at least 2 weeks trying to educate myself on the procedures, and really would just like if some knowledgeable contributor could reassure me that I have not missed something obviuos.
Thanks,
Ronan

I'm still updating the page, but its working fine for my dutch s200 (now english dopod rom)
Hi,
I tried to follow the steps as outlined, but when I get to teh first soft reset, the device locks, and I can do nothing with it!
Please tell me how to fix it. Can I use bootloader?
How?
Thanks,
Ronan
Crisis averted!
Got into bootloader and installed the dopod rom.
Ro
Dear Ro,
have you upgrated your PDA?
Can you write your procedure?
Best regards
Daniele
please, read this topic and tell me what you think about it...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=54878
I entered bootloader then used the Dopod ROM with the modified romupdateutility.
I have not tried anything else.
Does anyone know of a solution for us SPL 2.15.0001 users? We seem to be very restricted in options.
Ro
Please, can you write the links where it is possible to download this rom and all the necessary files?

Thanks dears,
I have updated it with Dopod rom......but now....how can I update to I-mate JAMin (italian) rom?
Does someone have an Idea to how do it?
Thanks, thanks, thanks
Daniele
Yes, you have to go to ftp.clubimate.com there you can find the JAMin ROM's and also you can choose the language you want.
As you know, first, you must CID unlock, then you can download your favorite ROM. Tell us your opinon after install it.

If you can make a dump from the Italian ROM (only if you haven't flashed with WWE), you can recontruct it. Perhaps you have a friend near you with the Italian ROM in the Kaiser so you can dump it.
With the dump you can reconstruct it and come back to the original ROM.

Original HTC VOX S710 OS

If you've installed another OS like Dr. Gonzo's New Guava OS, is there a way to revert the process? Can you reinstall the original OS and settings? If so, how? Just in case I decide to sell my phone, I'd like to know how to completely make the HTC VOX S710 back to it's original state (original factory settings - software and all).
do you still have the original ROM ?

to be honest with you, i'm not even entirely sure. if you mean did i backup the phone before applying the new OS, no. i didn't back up anything. so most likely i don't.
I've got a dump of the original rom (done as described on the Vox_HowToDumpRom wiki page) and USPL installed, will this be enough or would there have been more I should've done to be able to revert?
For future reference, how would one save the original rom?
I'm actually rather dissapointed as I haven't found any other cooked roms for the Vox, besides Dr. Gonzos New_Guava, am I missing something or are there just very few Vox ROMS out there?
one question: if i dump my original rom, it comes in what format? Will i be able to reflash it with USPL utility even if the dumped rom won't be in .exe?
It is a dump folder with all the files in it that are in ROM, if you sort them with a tool (forgot the name, I'll add later) then you get a sys and oem folder and from there it should be possible to reflash with the kitchen! But I did not try that yet!
Orginal Rom

lomo pleas upload that ROM .
If you don`t mind of course
Yes, please post the ROM... I myself am in the same situation and could do with it!
Thanks in advance,
But keep in mind every branded phone come with its own rom. There are mostly official htc roms on the net but not your original T-Mobile\Orange etc rom if you had a branded phone.
I don't know if what I just wrote made sense, sorry for bad english
Hi guys,
here is the orginal rom of the Vox. I have downloaded it from my tele operator site without changing or adding anything. The rom is not sim-lock to the tele operator.
- The languages are; EN (UK) and (US), suomi and nordic languages.
- Radio Version: 4.1.13.37_02.83.90
After installing, remember to hard-reset or soft-reset, so all the brands names and settings of the tele operator disappear. After soft or hard-reset you would have a vox with orginal HTC rom.
RUU_Vox_HTC_1.15.402.4_4.1.13.37_02.83.90_Ship.exe
i hope u guys can use it.
Thank you

Dutch HTC stock rom?

Anyone can hook me up with that? so no T-Mobile dump? just the stock HTC rom?
i would want to have this so someone i know can flash his bricked device (stuck to bootloader) without HardSPL
Re
hey,
check this link:
I've created an "original" HTC ROM file for all Dutch people with a branded ROM...
It can be downloaded from: http://rapidshare.com/files/65328847/NLD_1.56.404.6_22.45.88.07_1.27.12.17_Custom.rar
It has been created with the (non-dumped) OS.nb from a Dutch branded ROM (don't ask me where it's from or where I got it), and the unbranded .raw file which can be found in this thread. The ROM version is 1.56.404.6.
Changes:
- Changed the HTC splash logo to default Windows Mobile logo
- Added the "French" radio ROM (1.27.12.17)
I've flashed it to my branded Kaiser myself, and it works perfectly. Enjoy!

Nice to see a fellow-GoTTer here
Its certainly worth a try, but im afraid that this ROM has a different SPL than the official dutch HTC rom image.
can someone correct me if i am wrong?
I can now also ccreate custum Dutch Kaiser Roms only i can test it because i dont have a kaiser
Then how can you create a dutch rom? i need an ORIGINAL HTC ROM with original IMGFS and XIP
Before I flashed mine to Dutty's 6.1, I've dumped my original Dutch unbranded HTC rom, and have the 4 .raw parts saved on my disk.
Don't know if it matters that I've had installed HardSPL before I dumped the original rom? If it doesn't matter, you can have the files, but I don't have any webspace for it.
That would be sweet! i will pm you my MSN so we can talk?
If you manage to re-create the dutch htc release rom i would be very interested in that. Maybe you can also place it in this wiki
Ill try to reconstruct it su nday and upload it, otherwise ill post the raw parts somewere to download, aftr work and some more beer
