Battery Icon - General Topics

Is there a way to hide the battery icon next to the Volume icon in the today screen in WM5?
Thanks
Calli

You could use the program included in the link below which replaces the battery icon with time & date.
Also do a search for "removing battery icon"
I saw some posts a while back in the wizard forum for reg tweaks to remove the icon.
I'll have a look later & if I find them I'll post the links to the threads.

Heres a reg hack;
Hide/Show battery indicator in Task bar
If you wish to hide the battery indicator in the task bar on some devices, you can set:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 0 (DWORD decimal)
And to show:
HKLM\Services\Power\ShowIcon = 1 (DWORD decimal)
Note that this icon and its feature may not be available on your device at all. For example, the HTC Wizard regularly ships with a battery indicator in the Tray instead, governed by "Windows\Startup\Init_Tray.exe"._
_Note also that this reportedly does not work on AKU2 ROMs to remove the new battery indicator

How to disable battery indicator in task bar?

Hi all,
I'm testing FireROM at the moment. There is WkTASK installed there as well as QuickMenu apps.
WkTask has a great feature to show battery status as a small bar just on top of the screen and I'm loving it but there is also "dumb" WM battery indicator in Taskbar.
There is option in QM to disable battery indicator but it doesn't work afaisee.
Any help?
Regards
B.
PS.
I've found some additional soft to control battery status and so on, and threads to change (or add if not exist) registry value HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ but if added some **** happends and I've got dark hole and no icons (field,speaker and so on) in TaskBar

Extra battery in title bar

I've tried searching and can't find anything. I flashed a new ppckitchen rom to a vogue and now have 2 clocks in the title bar. I can't figure out any way to get rid of the second one. I can change the first one to a clock through the shell registry edit. If I have the clock displayed, then the second battery doesn't display a status when clicked.

Display both battery indicator and the clock on the title bar

Hello,
Myphone only displays one of two things: the clock and the battery indicator on the title bar. How to display them all.
I am using windows mobile 6.5
Thanks.
i'm not familiar with a way to do that.. but you can use a different battery meter like Batti or VistaGauge...
Like nir36 said, you can do this... change the titlebar to show the time through the clock settings on the control panel and Advanced Configuration app and show a battery on the top bar in the form of a coloured meter located FREE here.

How to remove battery icon from the title bar??

I've done so many searches and can't find a single solution. I found this:
Gets rid of battery in title bar (currently displays a clock in any setting except 0):
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell
“ShowTitleBarClock” = 2
The values can be:
0 = Battery
1 = Clock (may cause dialer app to pop up)
2 = Nothing
3 = Both
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
but there is no such value, key or string as "ShowTitleBarClock" under that registry path.
I tried using TouchPro tweak (which is basically Diamond Tweak), and there is an option to hide the battery, but it doesn't work, i soft reset my phone and it's still there even though the option is set to hide.
Advanced Config doesn't have any option to hide this at all, it just lets you choose either the clock, or the battery.
The reason i wanna hide it is coz i'm using a freeware called BattClock which shows both battery & clock in one icon and it's awesome, u can show other stuff as well like date, memory of ram, free space left on your memory card etc, and i just wanna get rid of the default battery icon on the title bar.
Any suggestions?
nvm i figured out that you have to hide the clock as well using TouchPro tweak (or Diamond Tweak).
