Another Phone Stuck in Bootloader

As I have read through the threads in this forum, I am not the only one with this problem, but for some reason none of the solutions make sense to me.
Earlier today, I was trying to use the "Prophet AKU2.3 pdamobiz customized rom released [G3 Only]" to downgrade and didn't notice that my XDA NEO is 4G (the tool is for 3G only). Now after each boot the screen is stuck with the Boot Page showing:
IPL 2.15.0001
SPL 2.15.0001
GSM 02.19.21
OS 1.0.13.21
I am so pissed at myself and so frustrated.
I have tried hard-resetting and the problem still persists. I am able to get into the Bootloader by holding the camera button and pushing soft-reset. I am just not sure where to go from here. I connected the phone per usb to the computer. The phone indicates that it's connected to USB. Every ROM upgrade file I have tried gives me an update error, since they are all expecting the phone to be connected to the computer through ActiveSync.
I bought this phone in Germany and currently live in the US, so it will be tough to send it back for repairs. Plus, I don't even know if I have the original receipt anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Extract the rom file you are using to flash your phone, to a folder on your pc, than Extract the file i attached ("ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip") into this folder. than connect your phone to pc and double click on "ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.exe".
cross your fingers.

reboot the computer first
I guess the trick was to reboot the computer first. After the reboot, I was able to use the provided No_Vendor_ID Updater to reflash again. Now it's all set. Thank you very much for the advice.

Urgent - Dead

Hello,
My S200 doesn't work. Why?
Because:
1-I had a version of OS - 2.13.9.26 (versao em Portugues)
2-I update for AKU 3.2 ( PDAMobiz_Prophet_WM5AKU3.2_v3231)
3-Tried to unlock ( lokiwiz03a)
4-S200 doesn't work well, didn't receive calls (only rings when I choose Start> Phone), it was impossible saw the contacts, etc. So I tried install AKU 2.3 (2006-11-12_Prophet_WM5AKU2.3_lvsw_edition);
5-The instalation was longer than 30 min, so I restarted.
Now, the phone doesn't start the OS. Stay on "bios" stage:
IPL - 2.09.0001
SPL - 2.13.0001
GSM- 02.30.21
OS - 2.15.13.27
I just tried:
-(2 buttons + restart + Dial button) - for factory default
-restart
What I do now? It's impossible to install another ROM...

-go into bootloader mode (hold camera button and press reset)
-upgrade to the latest Dopod ROM ftp://xda:[email protected]_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID.zip (you MUST do this before upgrading to AKU 2.3 or 3.2)
-upgrade to AKU 2.3 or 3.2
2.3 is more stable... but 3.2 has more features

But it's impossible install other ROM. I can't connect S200 with PC by ActiveSync. I had try all the combinations that I knew to restart, but... nothing.
I think that when I did the first Update, to version 3.2, I didn't make the HARD RESET, I madden a normal reset. And I think, that these is the reason for the message: "ActiveSync can't syncronized with your device, please free memory, or restart your device".
How I do for connect the device to my PC? If I don't connect my device with PC it's impossible install anything.

Yes, u don't need activesync as long as the USB is detected when you plug it into the device.

I just bought a used Tornado 2125. When I turn it on, all I get is the Cingular screen. It goes into the bootloader when doing a hard restart, but thats it. IF anyone can please help with this I would really appreciate it.

reflash the ROM. Follow the directions in Karoe's sticky thread, 3rd from the top in this forum.

I don't know how to flash the ROM b/c activesync won't read my phone. I cannot boot into windows Mobile. PC shows mobile device, but that's it. ONly reads USB in bootloader mode. WIll not read phone at all when sitting at the Cingular screen.

Did you SuperCID your phone? If you had, just make sure activesync USB is enabled, boot into bootloader, format binfs and then flash the ROM
If its not supercid, flash back your official ROM in bootloader, then read my guide

this should probably be posted in the threads pertaining to HardSPL, and to answer your question i think not. you have to run the KaisSSPL/JumpSPL in order to temporarily overwrite the SPL on the device. and you cannot just overwrite it by flashing HardSPL as you would a rom or we would have done that from the get go and have it included on every rom.

my kaiser has some problems and can not load windows , thats why i need to change spl and try to use other soft to recover problem.
i have problem with processor communication via I2C with PM7500 chip.
may be i have to brick it firs deleting boot and going to serial connection with processor? (like command task 2a - but in my spl this command not working)

actualy there is no issue for you.
you can not change spl without WM6.
i've got the same probleme.

i thought that my tytn ii was bricked. now is alive. Read "Radio Hell" threads... check in what status is your tytn ii... (obviously at your own risk)....

MTTY should work, just make sure you have unchecked "allow usb connections" in activesync.

for me this command work fine:
Try this from MTTY:
set 16 0
task 8
maybe that's will work for you.

set 16 0 -this command doing nothing
task 8 - reboot unit

i take off battery in every second when load rom and no chans for me to destroy stupid boot

I remember loading the original HTC ROM when in deep sh*t trouble... no need to have it booted to OS, only to tricolor screen
then you will boot to OS, install SOFT-SPL, then HARD-SPL and your custom ROM, Radio, splash...

you cannot boot to OS even after flashing a stock official HTC rom?

when turn device it is start load windows, after first screen go melodi which i see in rom named LB (low battery), and phone sw off.
i can load any original rom with success, but same story.
i thing problem is in I2C communication between proc and PM7500 chip , register for batt value is nor readable.
thats why i like to remake soft and take off power controll from it, but can not flash hard spl

Isn't it easier to apply for a warranty replace then?

here in Bulgaria HTC dont have service

Anyway I have seen some note that jocky is going to make the SPL flashable via SD memory card... maybe worth waiting then

BTW have you tried different battery?

Flashing rom without Activesync

How to flash the rom for a Wizard G4 without activesync (only with the bootloader mode)??
I had and error with my previous update and i need to re-install it in bootloader mode...

Simply,get the phone in Bootloaders by pressing Camera + soft reset,it'll go into Bootloaders (RGB) and hook up the phone with pc via usb cable,watch small usb appear at the bottom of the Bootloader Screen,if its there just run the RUU in the rom,it'll start to flash.

No, Its comm manager + camara + softreset...........

Yes, my Wizard is in bootloader mode (the usb indicator is here), but when I run the RUU, no device is detected (it's normal because RUU needs activesync connection) !!! Same effect with the official ROM !!

Perhaps you can try the sd card method, but one of the guru's here would have to confirm that. When my usb was busted, that method was suggested to me (click the link in my siggy). I don't have a G4, so I am not sure if the sd method would even work, but it is worth a read, and like I said, perhaps one of the guru's could confirm or deny this method.

Untill a few minutes ago I had a similar struggle; my Activesync connection was down exactly when I wanted to flash my device; I read all what was readable and after trying to flash tie new rom from the card, i just realised that if i press the usb cable firmly into a direction, the device suddently got recognised. SO, i guess that too much use of the usb port gets electrical contacts to get loose.
