Download: Smart1's 8mb pakage and run the Upgrade_Rom.bat!
Then...follow the instructions ;-)

ahh..
be carefull in upgrading especially if u r totall new to it.
if u dont want a bricked set, search/read enough info before flashing.
One silver lining-- Do any thing except touching ipl/spl

Which version did you installed?
MMMM the CLEAR VERSION... But it don't have any MMS composer or VOICE command... Exist another version better then SMART 8 clear? Thank all....

Install the XDA battery fix found on this forum.
All is ok now! I have installed the Cyberon Voice speed Dial but... no text in the program when working.... someone can tell me where to find a full version?

i just got update the 1.06 rom and 1.05 radio, everything seems great except the phone is now out of ringtone. All the ringtone files are in the phone and i can play it as well but when someone calls in it just mute......what happen? hv i do something wrong duirng the setup?

Possible Solution
So you can play the ringtones in a media player, but when someone calls the selected ringtone does not play, and you can not hear the caller? If this is correct, then your XDAII Mini thinks you have a headset plugged in (I had this problem recently). To solve it... & this soundz kinda lame I know... I just blew into the headphone socket. This cleared anything in there that caused the unit to detect a headset
If this is not the problem, repost & we'll see what else we can come up with :wink:

In your case ignore the rest, unless you want big storage as well of course ;-)

guys, i have problem when upgrading the rom, it is "ERROR 105 rom upgrade utility error" pls help!! what should i do?
Error 105 or Error 150? If you're getting this error after running MaUpgradeUtNoId, just run it again for the 2nd time and it will work!

replace MaUpgradeUt.exe with MaUpgradeUt_NoId.exe(found on ftp),delete GetDeviceData.exe,and put ur phone in bootloader mode...then reflash..

Simple answer is no, I don't have a mpx220, and cooking a ROM for a phone I don't have would just be silly.

Can someone, just briefly explain exactly how to do it?
I checked out the stuff regarding the USPL etc, but im scared i brick this device......(Its not mine, so i cannot screw this up!)

Hi, I would suggest that you use Dr. Gonzo's ROM, since his ROMs come with an excellent readme which is good enough and will get you through .

Now as you have USPL it, you can flash any ROM (of course, except the official one - unless you want to uspl again ).
I would suggest you go for fireburned's Custom ROM, its really a great ROM.

I updated my rom on 22th of octobre to 3.14.404.2 and when I restarted my HD2,
for a few seconds I saw a full-landscape-today-screen. It was filled with app. 6 icons (somewhat greater as uasual) and it looked great to me. I tried all kinds of things, but wasn't able to reproduce it.
Plz,plz,plz can anybody help me to get it?

I think what you have seen was the NaviPanel built in. Take a look at this thread where all the magic necessary is in

I installed it on my Phone, gave it a soft-reset with PowerOptions_v1.22.cab but no Landscape for me afterwards.... ????

install bsb tweaks and enable landscape mode first..........then install this cab to device memory and not sd card...soft reset
