How to edit CHome My Photos Path?

Hiya!
I was wondering how I would edit the path of My Photos on CHome...
I want to change it to the Storage Card Pictures folder instead of the default path.
I tried the CHome Configurator, but it does not give Customize access to that panel
I don't think it's possible, people keep requesting it, but I never saw a solution. There is no option for it in the registry.

Woah. xounet you are good. At first I thought you misunderstood me, so I thought I would try it out before I replied.
I made a directory \storage card\pictures
dropped in a pic, and voila!
Ty for the help. I hope this post might help someone else in the future

Thanks but the tip it's not from me. I read it from these forum long time ago, but I don't remenber from who.
i've read that in Mona Lisa ROM from Dr. Gonzo it works also with the standard path of the camera application..
"-the photo panel now shows pictures on the storage card located in storage card\pictures and storage card\my documents\my pictures"
someone knows how to tweak it without flashing to Mona Lisa's ROM?
Yes, i have solution.
It will be included in my future new rom clean v1.2, but i have a big problem, Vox freezes everytime with new SYS...
Bye.
so there are no tweaks to do that without flashing the new ROM?
Any news on this ?
*BUMP*
Sorry for bumping this thread but I am very interested in a solution of this, without the need of flashing my ROM.

Sharing files via bluetooth

I am new to this group and already have been helped, thanks by the way, but I hava another question. I have downloaded some ringtones that I want to share. The tones are in WMP format and when I tap and hold the file/song/tone the option to beam or send via bluetooth does not appear. Am I doing something wrong? What needs to be done to correct this problem?
Thanks for any/all help.
Sorry, I should've plsted this in the Kaiser section

That's so great bro, I made it successfully
thanks for the suggestions! i went to \my device\windows\rings .... i copied the mp3 there and it worked. for some reasons, it did not work when i tried to copy my desired mp3 in the windows folder...
G-Alarm
The application that i like to use on my TG01 is G-alarm. I think i got it off the marketplace.
anyway you pay £5 one time only and then its yours, ive also managed to re-install it onto other phones i have using my key.
this is by far the best alarm which you can set to ask you upto 16 questions to switch it off
just a good idea so you dont go back to sleep or forget
and just to add to this, referring back to your mp3s, G-alarm will be able to use them as long as they are saved onto your SD card!

[Q] Focus S: Custom Ringtones not working, help!

I have a new Samsung Focus S, and I am having the hardest time trying to get a custom ringtone on the phone.
I have followed all the instructions that are out there, have an MP3 (non-DRM) file that is 37 seconds long, 500kb in size and have the 'Genre' set to "ringtone" (and I even tried "Ringtone"). When I sync it over to my phone, it doesn't show up on my ringtones list in Settings -> Ringtones.
Please advise. Thanks.
I think I might have an answer, I have also noticed that some ringtones will show up while others don't and end up in your music collection instead of your custom ringtones. From what I've seen WMAs work better than MP3s for some reasons as far as ringtones. I also seems to depend on how they were converted or if they are encrypted. Try to deploy a few of these see if they work.
Thanks for the reply- sorry for the delay, but I finally got a chance to play around with this.
When I create WMA files instead of MP3 files, it works perfectly. Whoever is having issues as well, try creating WMAs, i'm sure you'll get the same positive results.
Thanks again.

Go to where the ringtones you crated sit on your computer via Zune, find them and right click on on one of them and then choose edit, set the genre to "Ringtone" and re-sync. You'll have to do one ringtone at a time.

What did you do to get the custom ringtone..
I mean I have copied a Nexus S rigntone to the notifications folder and I am able to use it a ringtone, this is the usual way of setting a custom ringtone.. have you done this??
Put ringotones in''ringtones'' folder
Sent from my MB865 using xda app-developers app
Copy your custom ringtone mp3 to sdcard/media/audio/ringtones directory. Once the sdcard is scanned for media, the file will appear in your available ringtone list.

I stumbled on this thread/post after searching on the internet. The above solution that you have mentioned did not work for me. I do not have a ringtones folder under sdcard/media/audio directory, just the notifications folder. I copied my ringtones files to this notifications folder and restarted the phone. That did not work. Next I created a ringtone folder under sdcard/media/audio and pasted the tones under this folder.
I restarted the phone again and checked... that also did not work.
Am I missing something here? Please help.

I create my own ringtones in the .ogg format rather than MP3s. Then, I place them in /system/media/audio/ringtones or /system/media/audio/notifications, change permissions to rw-r--r--, change owner and group to 0-root and reboot. It has worked for me every time. I also remove all the existing ringtones and notifications because I never use them, but I don't think that's necessary to make it work.

Why guys do so much work to put it in ringtones folder.
Just open any mp3 or any ringtone in music player press menu key and there is option set as ringtone.... Simple

Personal preference. You like your way, I like mine. It's not all that much work and doesn't really take much time. Also, when my phone is connected to my PC, the ringtones are still usable since they aren't on the SD card.
