I think this is the right place if not I apologise. I am using the T Mobile SDA (1).
When synching it with Vista - vista winges that the Media player 9 (on the win mobile 2003 SE) is too old and it won't play nice.
Is there a way of upgrading the media player ?
Thanks,
D
Oh by the way the 32 bit modem driver for Vista rocks!
Is it HTC Sonata or Amadeus? This isn't the right forum but here's an idea..There is no way to upgrade the Media Player itself, its hard coded to the rom. Upgrade to a ROM that has WMP10 included, that's the only thing that you could do to get a WMP10.

I wont hold my breath...

can anyone hack this firmware to extract the desired wmp10 cab file?
Windows Media Plazer has alwazs been and will alwazs be a piece of ****, I dont see anz need in installation the newer version. :?
Can anyone recommend a good free/paid for PDA remote control for WM6 to control Window Media Player (WMP 11) on a Vista x64 machine?
A google doesn't reveal much, or at least reveals a lot of old looking software. I tried PadOne which looked promising, but it doesn't install on Vista x64 (I need to investigate).
The basic objective is to remotely control Windows Media Player (play, stop, forward/back, volume up and down, & playlist selection if possible). Any other solutions?
Google for RemoteAmp... it controls Winamp... I think supports WMP too.
Thanks Lee, though it looks like RemoteAmp only supports winamp. But luckily on the back of that google through up some possibles, on this geekzone page.
NetRemote Music is looking the most promising from the screenshots. I'll trial later.
Hi,
I used to have an XDA exec with a kitchened rom. In this rom, There was The plug-in I am seeking for.
This program displayed windows media player on Today's screen.

I just saw this and got excited: http://content.zdnet.com/2346-12558_22-180846-5.html
It just seems like there's no easy way to sync up my audio and video with Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center as easily as I suppose a Zune could do it. I've always wanted to try "WebGuide," but my few attempts have been met with failure...
All I know is Windows Mobile COULD use an injection of PMP-friendliness!
Hello all,
Simple question. I'm wondering if there are any builds of TCPMP that will work on a device that is not running the Pocket PC / WM OS, but just plain Windows CE 6. Specifically, a Cowon V5.
Moved as not software release.
