Can I somehow run Java3D apps on my TaoJava 10.1.2.76 Midlet Mgr?
I know that I need jsr-184 (M3G) but where can I find CAB file with installation of the file I need? Please help.

Help! I've searched the forums and the Web, but could not find anything that shows how to install an application without a .cab or a .exe file.

I'm trying to install a few applications. They all have files such as:
ALARMCLOCK.001
ALARMCLOCK.000
How do I install these on my TyTn II?
those look like the contents of a cab file. you should see an xml file in there as well. if this is a cab file you need to copy it over to your device as the cab file and execute from there. do not open it with winzip or winrar.

get a copy of vmware fusion, install windos on it.
try changing it from exe to zip many exe install programs are just self extracting zip files
hi guys, i installed 3rd party java program, uninstalled it, now when i try to open a jar/jad file on internet explored, it says, file cannot be viewed on this device, any way to fix this (other than a hard reset )

Just search this forum for file association. I saw an application in dev/hack section or some other section. however you can run jbed and install the jad files. to download jad or jar file using feadIE which you can get from modaco.

Can anybody explain me how to make a self-extracting cab file, and what software to use?
What i'm trying to do is this:
I want to CAB some translated Manila files and put them into the \Internal Storage\Backup and Restore\Cab\ directory of my Diamond, so that i can have the files automatically extracted to the devices map \Windows\ after a hard reset.

You can use WinCE CAB Manager. There is a free test version aviable. It can create cabs easy.
