I have made a small website full of streaming links
from the Netherlands. You can find there audio

What software do I need on my 8525 to view streaming video? Files don't open with the windows media player that came with it.
Many files get past "connecting" to "buffering" ... but then flame out and simply read "error" at the top of the screen. I have not yet succeeded in getting anything to run

I have a problem, however, watching with my TyTN.
The links connects, buffer and stream in wmp, but with audio only. No video! The tv-screen is just black.
Any idea why?
Can it be because we don´t have HTC Streaming Media in swedish TyTNs?
Any input appreciated!

Same issue with mine, even if I have streaming media!

How? The clip opens by default in wmp.

Copy the URL to memory. Open TCPMP and go File -> Open. In the upper textbox paste the URL (or type it).

In TCPMP go to 'options'...'settings'...'select page'...'file associations' and put a check by all the video formats (or just put a check in every box) and all streaming video (and audio) will open with TCPMP instead of Windows Media Player.

To my knowledge, TCPMP is able to play a few types of common internet radio feeds.
I’ve been told it’s impossible to play back, say, UK-based LBC on Windows Mobile, while, for example, the iPhone already has a client for this station.
Being a streaming & Internet protocol freak (I *really* hope you’ve read my past, streaming-related tutorials and bibles), I quickly captured the real URL behind the stream. Just click the link: Windows Media Player Mobile will start and play it back. Now, you can’t say I don’t provide you with some very nice, self-invented hacks to show to your iPhone friends (“yes, I know, so far, it was impossible to play back this stream under Windows Mobile; this, however, isn’t the case any more”) ;-) Incidentally, you may also want to ask me to provide access to some of the multimedia streams you want to play back on WinMo - I may be able to help you with them too. Please, public messages / requests only, for example, under this article so that the other readers can also learn from our discussion / my solution. No private messages are answered!
I, however, didn’t stop at that. I’ve continued investigating the other streams on the same streaming server, Mediaweb-Musicradio to help my readers wanting to listen to them: I’ve quickly coded a small program to dump all the available streams. They’re as follows:

Is it possible to get MW radio stations on an Omnia, for example Radio 5 Live, or even DAB radio channels like radio 6. I'm fed up of missing out on the footy on a saturday when I'm dragged shopping.

Ok, so I have search through the threads and tried a few different packages, half of them dont seem to work and few have any decent channels.
I am looking for a mobile TV package which can plan UK BBC channels, or even just BBC news 24.
Spb mobile TV looked promising and worked well but the channel selection is dismal. I have tried a few packages where you can add you own channels but could not find any URL's for BBC channels, I know they are out their as iphone has TVcatchup.
Any help would be great.

myPlayer lets you add custom channels, but if you are within the UK the "Favourites" view should already give you access to the BBC ones. I find setting the player preference to Windows Media Player is ideal for this. If you have CorePlayer - even better - as then you get to watch the high quality digital TV feeds
or you could install skyfire and use tvcatchup. Its not just for iphones
