My Imate ROM Upgrade page is Spanish !!

Hi I brought my Jam from Live Telecom and my Upgrade page is in Spanish. I emailed Imate and they said its because my machine is Spanish .. Will this effect future upgrades for my Machine as it has come with a WW English Rom on it ?

What is the meaning of "upgrade page"?
If your ROM is WWE then it's all you need. There is not such a thing as a "Spanish" machine, there are Spanish ROMs, as they are german, greek or anything else, is the ROM what defines the "country" ID of the machine.
If while upgrading your ROM you see the instructions in spanish, then you are upgrading to a spanish ROM. ¡Enhorabuena!

On the Club Imate Support page for my device . When I go to the ROM page its in Spanish and the only upgrade available is Amena ( Spanish ). The whole language is Spanish but my machine is running WWE .
Have left this one with Imate as its up to them to marry my IMEA number with the correct country for my device but thanks for the reply.

I got it now.
It's just an I-mate issue, you should get the support in english. But I guess you are still able to download an implement any ROM you like, no matter the language you choose.

Current i-mate Spanish ROM is 1.06

:lol: Emailed Imate several times and they can't work out why my UK EMEI number brings up the Spanish page . I only have access to this ROM ( Spanish) . They continue to work on the problem.
In the meantime though thanks to you guys I have a varied amount of ROM's for my use on the FTP

I don't think u will need club imate for a while,i noticed ur current version is 1.12.00...it's the latest...plus if there's a newer one,u'll find it in xda-developers,(all my respect to club i-mate,but they r not the best developers site in the world :wink....

oh btw,there is this site http://www.worldlingo.com/ ,it translates u the sites from any to any language....if it helps...

Only Dutch ROM you can get at the moment is the QTek S200 ROM..
It's even possible to have the latest Dopod ROM, wich seems be pretty good, in Dutch. But I believe that I'm the only one at the moment running it with the Dutch Transfomation Pack 8)

The Dopod ROM isn't Dutch
It's an Asian ROM.. ..with English language though..
If you search for it you will find it on this forum! Mine is Dutch because I've used the Dutch Language Pack for the HTC Wizard. This is nog official and it doesn't work right out of the box! You have to make quite some changes yourself. But if you really like to get it done it's possible
The Dutch language pack is in the HTC Wizard Upgrade forum..

GERMAN Rom update für prophet,neo,s200 wanted

hey guys awesome forum you have.. but it is soo hard to find something special.
Im looking for a german rom upgrade for my o2 xda neo. the update provided on their site changes nearly nothing.
In another forum i read about this rom: Qtek s200 2.20.739 GER for the prophet. it seems to be very stable and it is german.
please give me a link were to download this rom or a similar one- it MUST be german.
it can also be an cooked rom with changed content.
and by the way one little question what does the "WWE" attachment in the rom name mean ?? is there german language and keyboard layout included ?
I would be very happy if someone could help me....

There is atm no working WM6 German ROM, but there is a thread where they try to build an German rom, just searsh for it.

I'm also searching for a german ROM for my XDA neo. The only thing is that I need a WM5-ROM cause I'm using a Mac, and I cannot sync WM6 PDAs by now. Is there en cooked ROM out there which I can use?
Can also be an english ROM if it's got e german keyboard layout an t9 in it.

I've read a lot of thing about cooking, and I'd like to cook my first rom.
I need a base rom and I'd like to start directly with a WM 6.1 rom.
There are a lot of WWE 6.1 rom around here, but none in French.
I don't know if it ever exists, but if this is the case, and if someone could point me to this, I'll cook the fist 6.1 French rom for every one to test !
