Transfer Sound to Buletooth Headset?

Only when you receive or make a call, the voice then, will be transferred to the buletooth headset. My question is: is it possible to active it at other time other than makeing call? Thus we can use our Voice Dial softwares and listen music from XDA II.
It only can transfer the voice during the phone call to BT headset. I think O2 need to modify the Bluetooth driver to support more function on BT section (like iPAQ PPC, compaq updated the BT Driver to support listen the music on BT Headset).
Hope can heard O2 to modify the BT driver very soon, otherwise my Bt headset for O2 is not very useful !
I think except voice command, there is no missing fuction for using BT headset right now, since the quality of the speaker is horrible for listen music.
I really don't know why everyone asking for listen MP3 with BT Headset with XDA2. Is that people really enjoy listen music with one ear and low qaulity?
The XDA II has the ability to automatically answer a call after a variable number of rings to be set. However, I believe that this option only functions with the headset plug installed and then probably the BT headset won't work. Or does anyone has another idea?
Is it possible to change the register, so you can automatically transfer the call without having the plug in?

Well some people would like to have audio via Bluetooth to be able to hear Tomtom navigator over the speakers ?
Also, the SPEAKER of the XDA might be bad, that doesn't mean the audio out is bad. With a good speaker or headset quality could be al lot better...
If you use the XDA Adaptor Jabra kit for the XDA1 in the earphone socket it works fine, but if you use the headset with the direct bluetooth connection, then it doesn't.
Bluetooth Music ?
I believe that the bandwith of a Bluetooth Audio connection is far to limited to support anything resembling HiFi, not much point in listening to MP3 music that way.
For TomTom, or my Korean Language MP3 tutorial files, it should be fine though.
Luckily, the speaker is far louder than on my IPAQ 5450 going on sale, so I don't really need external speaker for TomTom.

Obvious, your not useing any of the build-in BT functions are you .
You're just getting wired audio out from the XDA/MDA. You could do that with the XDA I also, i didn't buy and XDA II for that !

Hear the mp3 at bluetooth earphone

Hi guys,
anybody can help me to find out using the bluetooth earphone hearing the mp3, i'm using the mini xda , also is it possible to dial phone number using the vito voice using the earphone
thanks
I´m looking for a solution of similar problem too. But there seems to be a problem in Windows Phone Edition. The Bluetooth stack works together only with the radio stack. Means it supports only the Headset or the Handsfree profile.
What we need is the support of an Audio profile. In the case of stereo output there is another problem. Bluetooth is too slow to transfer it properly.
Maybe you will find other hints when looking for other key words in the forum: "navi speech output", "widcom bt stack" or "bth tools"
I´m looking for it because I want to hear the output of Navigon on my bike (that would be mono). The widcom bt stack is under construction and may support the profile in the future. The BTH Tools is an addon to the MS BT stack and solves some problems with Headsets and GPS mice. :?
Another solution would be to fit an bt transmitter in the earphone jack and use an separate receiver with normal earphones. But the harware is really fat, because its usually developed for home entertainment.
i'm getting these
http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT420EX.htm
they work
Okay, I found them too. But with a price of about $ 200,00 they are to epensive. I won´t divide them into parts to fit them into my helmet.

What Bluetooth Headsets work with the TyTN?

I have tried 2, Moto H500 and H700 and they both do not work with my TyTN. My car bluetooth connection had no problems.
My radio version is 1.03.03.10
moto ht820 works
The motorola HT820 works perfectly with my Trion. Especially with the A2DP improvement hack the sound is really clear play pause fwd rew all work and with assigning voice command to work with the call button works as well. Only thing I cant get working is Skype over the bluetooth headset. I assume when skype is loaded the profile thinks it is a Stereo profile so the mic doesn't work, Does anyone know a registry hack to enable the headset p[rofile with programs suh as skype?
Jabra BT250 is working perfect.
Please note there is a dedicated TyTN forum now, you can stop using general.
iTech S38 Clip Headset works good... even the A2DP is good without breaking up or crackling noise.
nextlink bluespoon working just fine here...

BlueAnt X5 works good
HI guys,
I just bought a Blueant X5 headset and it works great with the Hermes with no probs. no skipping, excellent quality, able to dial/answer calls while listening to music, control WM player through the heaset (play, stop, next prev, etc)
Cheers,
EDIT: I returned as one of my speakers sounded squelchy (like my old CB radio days). Too bad they didnt have any more in stock so i got a refund. Other than that, it worked fine.

Anyone else getting loss of speaker audio after BT connections?

Hi all, I have had this bug in varying flavours with both the Wizard and now the Kaiser.
If I make a call via Bluetooth (certain devices only e.g. JVC in car stereo), after the call, all audio is lost on the device when using the speaker, e.g. no ringtones, no TomTom voice guidance.
Strangely the touchtone sounds on the phone dialler continue to work.
Making another call via Bluetooth works fine and all audio is heard, but not if calling via the earpiece of the phone.
It is like Bluetooth is 'stealing' the audio from the phone's speaker (which is should), but not giving it back at the end.
Currently am running WM6.1 Sleuth 3.0 on the TyTN II. Any advice appreciated.

Bluetooth headset.

What bluetooth headsets will work with the touch diamond?
other question: why should there be any headsets not working?
i have a really cheap but nice looking samsung headset, no problem to get paired with the diamond. should work with any other headset, too!?
My existing is just a cheap iTouch bluetooth headset and it works perfectly.
I don't think Diamond has any problem to work with other brands.
I have an old Motorola Bluetooth headset (4 Years) and it will not pair with my Diamond. Looks like its time to upgrade to a Jawbone!! hehehe
i have the jabra bt3030
its a stereo bluetooth headset working on A2DP
works great and looks awesome!!
So can I listen to music through any bluetooth headset (that has headsets to play music)?
My Plantronics P590 works like a charm

Theres a app called btAudio (keep a google-eye open for newer versions) that does exactly this, it will send ALL sound to the headset, despite of what windows had in mind for the sound (as in if it was gonna use headset or build-in speaker)
Tho, it sometimes chokes when you dont shut down the app before you disable the bluetooth headset or phones bluetooth function, but i guess that kinda makes sense (its even sayd in the program to not do that, but im a sucker for trying such things hehe)
And another thing, this happend for me too (taken from comments on some site, linked below)
The program runs well however if you try to make a phone call with the blue tooth ear piece while the program is active the program is not available after the call is completed.
I had to reset my phone to enable the program again. - source of comment
Guess thats related to windows not being to happy theres multiple apps using the headset, lets hope for a next version which auto-disables when calling and re-enables when u hang up.
I'm waiting for this one (Jabra BT530, due end August according to Play.com)...
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/16778.htm
Got the manual that Jabra put up on their support site for a day or two before taking it off. Manual says it also supports A2DP and can stream music.
And what about battery life? Could somebody using bluetooth stereos write how long the Diamond can last, and what is the overall impact on battery life while listening to music?
I use this headset, its got very good sound and is also nice and comfortable, since i have my tragus peirced i cant wear "normal" headphones!
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-DRBT20...6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1216998998&sr=8-6
It also works on my pc and my PS3 as a wireless headset/mic!
I have proper enclosed stereo headphones Dell DH-200 with volume control, next and previous track plus play/pause buttons and it all works fine with HTC DT. The only think I am not sure about is which profile it is using, the sound is not as good as when I have it paired with my laptop, which would suggest a low speed profile as opposed to HQ.
You can change the bluetooth profile in Schap's Advanced Config. I've set bitpool to 70, max to 76 and min to 64. Now the sound quality is waaay better.
I can't connect my Jabra 320's (worked with SE W880i) to BT Stereo, it only see's the headphones as a handsfree unit on the HTC
Jawbone. Nothing else comes close (for hands free anyway!). And the new one even matches the Diamond... sort of!
Has anyone suffered the sound periodically dropping out for a second or two, mainly during the first minutes of connection but still persisting now and again several tracks down the playlist?
