I am very new to this and apologise if you have all been here before!
I have a new Qtek 9100.
My car Mercedes E has built in wiring for a Bluetooth connecter currently £350.00!! but all the information tells me it only works with a phone which has SAP (Sim access Profile I think) which I believe the 9100 dosn't. Both Mercedes and particually Vodafone are not much help. I understand it is possible to update the rom in my phone but then I get lost!! Finally I believe there is a new version of this phone sold as Vodafone v1605 or T Mobile MDA Vario II or Orange SPV M3100 which Qtek help desk says does have SAP.
Sorry to go on for so long does anyone have any advice or further information???

Hi, I am newbie to this board and I was hopeing some of you could advise me on the purchase of imate PC phone, looking at the spec's it is the same as XDA II is this true???
I have been given the offer of purchasing the imate fully unlocked, will it be OK to use in the UK????
How good is the support for the imate compared to o2 xda ii I have read a few nightmare threads about the support of the xda ii but very little on the imate.

all imate, xda2, mda2, qtek2020 are triband phones so they work everywhere where you can get gsm support just like a normal cellphone
Hello, i bought UK T-mobile MDA compact... Then I upgraded it to I-Mate ROM, and noticed quite a big difference in sound quality... I was stupid enough not to backup my MDA's ROM... So please please please... If anyone has original T-mobile UK MDA rom could you send it to me... or host it... I would really appreciate this...
Try to upgrade newer radio stack, at least it improved my Jam sound quality a lot.

Hi there!
I've just bought my new MDA compact and TomTom in a bundle from t-mobile.
This MDA was preinstalled with rom 1.13 shipped.
After installing and executing TomTom i got/received only a Blackscreen.
I called T-Mobile and TomTom and they told me that this is a a known issue with new MDA compact (shipped with fw 1.13).
I tried to downgrade my mda to 1.12 and get also a blackscreen. only a reset helps.
does anybody know what they have changed in designt?
Does anybody know how to resolve this issue?
T-Mobile and TomTom told me that this is a known issue, with currently shipped MDA's. It could take weeks until they will provide an ROM Update or an update for TomTom.
Not much of a help, but:
I have upgraded my MDA with ROM 1.13 and TomTom is working correctly here.
Could it be that your bundled version of TT isn't the same as the one that is bought seperately?
If that's the case, then TT looks to be spending more time protecting their software, than to make sure it actually runs! Not that there's anything new in that, it just sucks when you pay big money for something and it doesn't work as good as the pirated soft other ppl dl off the net...
Can somebody please tell me if they have bought one of these phones in ENGLAND (ONLY INTERESTED IN ENGLAND). A simple answer of Yes, contact details of where the phone was bought and the cost of the phone AND/OR contract details.

Yes.
Several people have bought the Voda version (from the Voda shop in Watford) I believe.
Personally, I will wait for either the Orange or T-Mobile version (they will look different - better IMO - to the Voda version and will also have a better data package).

Does anyone know if there is a version of Blackberry connect for the SPV E650/HTC S710. The SPV E600 is now discontinued with Orange and there is no replacement which advertises Blackberry Connect capabilities.
Any help wold be greatly appreciated.
