Even since I installed Destinator 6 GPS software on my Jam, the phone no longer rings even though checking in System / Notifications all is OK.
On another website forum, an Orange SPV M500 owner confirmed that his was working fine on ROM 1.06
Can anyone tell me where I can possibly download this from ?

News from I-mate, new ROM for Imate Jam will be released soon (2weeks time) to solve some bluetooth issues... specially the issue with the bluetooth GPS...

Where'd you get the news? From FONO or Axion? Or Telefonica?
Bought the Jam from City Centre and I do hope they fix the issue with the Blue Tooth and audio.
Will we void our warranties with a flash of that sort?
news came from Imate / Dubai news, new rom of jam will be ready before 15th of Feb or even earlier
Upgrading ROM
I have download the ROM upgrad for i-mate Jam from clubimate site, I have run the programe, but I have recived amassage says "error Country code 120, after that my imate dosen't work at all, All what I see in the screen is written in the middle "USB" and in the bottom written "Versoin 1.0.0", How can I run my i-mate again, I couldn't reinstall the operating system again. Please help :?:
There is no JAM ROM Upgrade posted. The one on I-Mate is a backup of the roiginal ROM!

@RAD before you engage on ROM activity always backlup first. I think you beed to hard reset your device, or flash it with the orignial ROM. Where you from anyaways?

I´ve been looking at "Step 4" of the install manual pdf file for half an hour now...... nothing......
Finaly got it to work
Left it standing like that overnight.
Still nothing.
rebooted PC and tried again. This got me a few steps further but it got stuck on step 6 now..... Only now my Magician wouldnot startup anymore!!
Just the grey screen with the faint USB on it.........
Exited the upgrade programm. (ctr-alt-del) and restarted it again.
Now it skipped the first part and took off from where it crashed! (neat!)
Started copying files etc.
Everythin went smoothly from here on.... Finaly.....
Damn this caused me a lot of sweat and swears!
I hope it is worth it.

Worked in 1 time, did a hard-reset first to clean the device & the upgrade was painless. Only gprs now has connection problems. Anyone a solution? The gb-soft tweak doesn't help.
Worked fine for me and GPRS worked fine too! :lol: I'm waitting for the next release version with Blackberry mail client intergrated!
blackberry is supported in the 1.13 roms. At least in the dutch and german versions. I'm using the dutch version (english) and still having gprs hic-ups though, like I had with the UK 1.12. Not using bb at the moment too expensive, another 10€ per month. Can't compare battery life or speed, but seems ok if not better than before (did not re-install sbp pp, so that can account for the noticed improvements as well). in another thread it is claimed that UK 1.13 ia big-storage compatible as well.

i have been tryin to get gprs and mms settings on my sp5.
I did the unlock procedure and then installed the o2 uk contract cab file from imate site, however whenever i try to use internet explorer it says:
"The current connection cannot be used for your request. Please end the current connection and try again".
Can anybody help me?
everything seems to work now! maybe it just took a while for the settings to activate?

Is it working fine on O2 apart from that? I'm considering upgrading to a C600 on Orange and changing it over to Vodafone (my main sim) and use the C500 for the orange sim.

its excellent mate, easy to use, brilliant screen and good batt life (1 and half hr with tomtom running so thats sound, backlight and bluetooth, and it only took one bar out of the four), one of the best phones i have ever owned, no1 has to be the black titanium 8910.
I just ran the get device data and uprade utility of radio rom tytn 1.16 (downloaded from this site/portal only) on my htc magician ( o2 mini with t mobile nl rom ).it shows all the previous rom, radio and ext rom versions plus and at the lower part the new radio version is 1.16 looks like it is upgradeable because BA 1.15 or other versions never went this far also . I just didn't try got little jittery . as it is day day time here in india and if it works or doesn't means loading programs all over again or getting it in the ok shape again with a possible hard reset and i have to go to work with phone and all the functionality . went till about 2% then incompatibility error . i had to flash my earlier rom radio again. earlier I had radio 1.13 radio on tmobile nl 1.13 rom . seemed it made phone warmer and and drain on the battery too. Now I'm going to go with the shipped radio 1.12 with the shipped uk rom .Any thoughts on radio 1.13 i think it was inconsistent . i mean the voice was sharper when there it was then skipped a beat a little after 10 -15 seconds which doesn't make difference in normal conversations on the phone . but it was more prounounced when it was streaming the pocket resco internet radio which breaks the connection and the buffer starts again which is kind on of annoying in my morning or evening jogs/walks and I don't play pre stored mp3 song from sd card as it wiped everything on the sd card after some song sessions . please share your experiences
I've been running 1.13 for a couple of months, and it seems fine. Bluetooth and phone seem pretty good/consistent.
I only ran 1.12 for a week or so, then I saw 1.13, so I can't really compare battery life of the two, but I know 1.13 is doing better then the original ROM, (I think it was 1.06 or 1.10.0)
Please share the experience and comparisions also . and if there is a experience regarding streaming internet radios between radio 1.12 and 1.13. I have already hard reset my phone and not loaded any much programs .Thre is a possibility of flashing again one more time then I'm going to settle for some time .I triead bluetooth A2dp bchs cab installs fine ,someone somewhere I guess modaco.com was that Stereo bluetooth works with only radio 1.13 . but in in shipped 1.122 it shows all the options .I don't stereo bluetooth headset .Going to buy one will somebody help me in giuiding and by answering these above questions

I have problem with my XDA 2 mini or the other called this the HTC Magician. I try to UPgrade my Radio 1.03 to 1.12. and when im applying the upgrade procedure the Upgrading stops and error. What happen now is my XDA 2 mini or HTC magician doesnt open now. only the word "SERIAL" and when i plug the USB, the word "USB" show on the screen................... Is there some one can help me pleasssse with my problem....

you try soft reset your device.
and if "bad radio" show up the screen, you can try update it again or redown new radio file if your file error. normal bootloader is serial/usb.

hi, just got a Touch Pro on orange UK sim.
its a vodaphone handset, unlocked to use any network.
thing is, after flashing it with Hard SPL, to install custom roms, im now stuck in a situation where i can make calls, recieve calls, send and recieve texts etc...basically do anything....but i cant seem to find a way of getting the phone to use the wireless connection....to fire up and load net browsers, update the weather etc.....
(i installed this rom...[ROM] [WWE] [31-Dec-08] RSW's Fuze ROM v1.0 (CE 5.2.19971))
also, i cant even activate the net thru 3G,...as the phone hasnt got the orange setings for the net...or MMS.
is there anyone on here that has had the same probs?......i used to have a trinity, that was easy to sort out, as i found a CAB file to install, to sort it out.
any help guys would be great.
(also might not help that ive installed one of the Fuze ROMS....any suggestions for a rom that works fast n fine inthe UK, would be appreciated.)
