I upgraded my phone to WM6 (unofficial). Can someone point me in the right direction to make my phone appear like the iPhone with the proper software package? BTW I have the Palm Treo 750 for AT&T. Thanks in advance.
Also, what is HTC Homescreen and what does it do?
Can anyone help me here. I have searched in and out on this. I need an Alltel ROM upgrade for my phone and I need to know how to activate A2DP on it. I appreciate any help. I just bought a Motorola S9 headset and I can't get it to work. So I'm pretty pissed, lol. I really need some info.

I don't think anyone here is writing ROMs for the Alltel wx but you can get your A2DP working if you go to treocentral and get the cab and instructions from Hannip. Just go to the 700wx forum and read the A2DP thread. It was originally for verizon and sprint I think but it works perfect for Alltel also. Its a piece of cake.

I hate to hit you while you are down... but your own link has it near the top, as to why you don't want to use that rom for a GSM device.
"Important:
first, if you have GSM Touch Pro/Raphael (NOT CDMA, NOT SPRINT/VERIZON/ALLTEL/TELUS/BELL), this will brick your device.
to download a compatible hardspl package for gsm touch pro you can go to forum.xda-developers.com.
but if you have CDMA Touch Pro/Raphael, then you have to use this hardspl, not the one at xda-developers!!!"
It's probably not fixable, but if you have a warranty, use it. I wouldn't explain exactly what you were doing if they ask what happened, because in truth, you obviously don't really know.

Oh oke I will use my warranty . But How can I know what my phone is? GSM or CDMA? Where can I find it out?
GSM is in use in Europe, USA, & majority of the world; CDMA in USA & few other countries. If you have a SIM card, it's always GSM.

Thank you all! I hope KPN can fix it. I can use my nokia 6300 again
Ya know, you're the second person this week who flashed that hard spl to a gsm phone (instant death, btw). I'm curious, did someone tell you to use that specific hard spl? It seems kind of weird that two people would do it so close together. I'm just wondering if someone out there posted some mis-information that's leading to this (the other poster was on a Dutch carrier, I think).
Edit: here is the other thread. It's weird, you're both on Dutch phones. I'm just wondering if there's a dutch board with a bad link.

I think these guys are just too eager and are not taking the time to learn anything. I have had a few Noobs this week trying to jump right in and hosing up ther phones. A little reading would have saved them the grief.

I agree completely! I have seen quite a bit of this going on lately. You guys spend a ton of money on your devices at least take a little bit of time to perform some research before trying anything. I remember when I got my first ATT 8525 (hermes 100) and wanted to flash a ROM and I also remember that before I did I spent roughly 6-7 hours reading up on the device and everything that the XDA wiki had to offer before I even installed my first app.

I've done more than that and haven't even made the decision to buy it yet. Being informed is always a good thing.
Hi all,
A little while ago I screwed up one of the software tweaks in the app 'Galaxy S Tweaker', then my phone would not boot. So I decided I might as well attempt to flash an I9000 Froyo ROM (can't remember the exact one at them moment, but either JP3 or JM5, I think.) and it is running great! except for one pretty big thing...my phone doesn't work as a, well, phone. It simply says: 'no service' and I'm obviously not able to send/receive text messages or calls.
Before I had 'bricked' my phone, I had it unlocked and running fine on the Telus network here in Canada. (I used the popular method as detailed in a different XDA thread, but it would seem as though Samsung has patched that, because I tried that method again, but to no avail.)
Does anyone know what the problem could be?
Thanks,
Dylan
Does anybody have any ideas? I'm kinda desperate, amy help at all would be appreciated
I would also like to note that I have tried 2 online unlocking services, and BOTH of them have come up negative, saying they can't retrieve an unlock code for my device!
Any idea's as to what's going on?
Ok in dire need of some help. I am wanting to use my current moto g as a donor phone to flash my htc one m8 (sprint) to boost mobile. it seems as though i have everything in place except these ha/aaa secret keys. scoured the net to no avail. tried everything in dfs qpst qxdm u name it. Some help would be greatly appreciated. at this point id probably dance naked for you if you can help me lol

And no responses! this must really be a toughy. Im no dev or anything but i am pretty good about doing my own research and applying it but i have yet to find a solution. Anybody have any ideas?
