Totally wrong.
Press and hold the Comm Manager and Voice Record buttons.
Keep hold of these buttons and momentarily press the soft rest button with the stylus.
Carry on holding the side buttons for about 5 seconds until a black and white warning message appears on the screen
Release the side buttons and press the Green Send key to perform the Hard Reset.
Sounds complicated, but isn't once you know how.
Or you could use Start / Programs / Clear Storage. (I've deleted the shortcut to the latter because it's FAR too dangerous when someone else is playing with your phone!)

Vox phone code remover

please i have a vox0101 phone with lock code but forgot my code .can any kindly tell me which buttons to press to hardreset this phone.
To hard reset, turn off the Vox and hold your 2 Soft Keys (the keys next to your D-Pad on each side) and press the Power On, hold the soft keys for a few seconds and you will get a confirmation message - press the Green Start Call button to initiate a hard reset.
Did you forget the code to unlock your screen?
Turn off your phone, then press both soft keys and power on the device. After a short delay release the soft keys and you should be presented with a hard reset confirmation message on a black screen, to then proceed press your green phone button (or even the left softkey works if i remember correctly). PS shame you forgot your code, i did it once and will never again set a code, loosing all my data was a nightmare, anyway good luck
edit: looks like i posted the same time as h4waii, doh oh well.

Almost there.
When you press the reset button, hold it for a few seconds and then let go. Keep holding the comm manager and voice buttons until the screen says press the talk button to reset. Then let go of the top buttons and press the talk button.

[Q] B5510 Physical Keyboard Locked

Hi guys, this is my first post here.
I have rooted my Galaxy Y Pro B5510 and everything was ok.
I tried to remap a key from the system files in the root.(keylayout)
But first I backuped that floder to my SDcard.
I changed a key and reset the phone. The change I made was working so I wanted to return it to it's default. So I coppied my backedup files over the edited ones and reset the phone again.
But when the phone was turned on I couldn't use my physical keyboard anymore.
By the way earlier I used an application called "keyremapper". Can it be the source of the problem?
I have limited access to menus since I can't use the go back button on the keyboard and I can't even use the power on/off button, volume up/down button and so on...
The keyboard is completely locked.
I tried to re-copy my backedup files over the system/usr/keylayout/ using touchscreen with the application called "root explorer" but that didn't fix it either.
Guys can you please help me out here?
Thank you in advance.
Nevermind, fixed it.
Same problem, please help

Hi, Theodenn!
Recently I've lost control of keyboard on b5510 - it doesn't react at all. Touchscreen works well.
"Volume up" and "Volume down" buttons - the same, do not respond.
The situation looks like yours pretty well!
Please, could you explain, how did you manage to fix this problem?

Thank you for your reply: I tried to do that but it did not work.
I think this is because buttons "volume up" and "home button" do not work from the very beginning - they do not work even at the moment when I power the phone. I think so, because after the operating system is loaded - they do not work too.
Actually all the row of buttons above the typing keypad is also off (or locked). Optical joystick and keypad are off.
Only "Power button" and touchscreen are active and respond as earlier.
May be smth. else can be done?
