Solution for those who are stuck in the bootloader. - JAMin, XDA Neo, S200 Software Upgrading

At last I had my 02 xda neo working again after using the wiki procedure to unlock CID.
I believe the problem has to do with the newer prophets using the 2.15.0001 ROM.
The symptoms were the same as described on other threads here, prophet stuck in bootloader mode and not even being able to shut off without taking the battery off...very frustrating and worrying for the user.
The solution is this:
http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=440&PN=1
What i did:
Soft reset press camera button ..release soft reset while keeping camera button pressed brings you to this state:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It is the same for Prophet.
Next step:
On a freshly booted PC connect you USB cable to your prophet.
You will see USB appear on the left down side.
and then follow the steps from the pdamobiz post.
If during upgrading you have some problem, and it stuck at bootloader 3 colors screen. Just download below files, run upgrade rom with that file, after you can boot normally, you can upgrade this customized rom again, becuase this customize rom need active sync only.
http://files.pdamobiz.com/ROMs/XDA/Prophet/RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe
Thank you very much to itsme, the Administrator of http://www.spv-developers.com for his utilities, machinegod for enablerapi, buzz, the Admin of www.buzzdev.net for unlocker of prophet extended rom, RuChonburi for his customized rom.
By the way I make 3 very small utilities, those are sleep4 (wait 4 second), clattr.exe (clear file attribute of \extended_rom) and roattrib.exe (set read only attribute for files in extended rom), to automize the process to 1 click at UPGRADE_ROM.bat
Caution! There are some risks to upgrade rom, please use your own risk, we shall not responsible for any damage
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
and the final step:
run UPGRADE_ROM.bat from the folder that you extracted this rom:
http://files.pdamobiz.com/ROMs/XDA/...n_Upgrade_Rom_for_IPLSPL_2.15.0001_v.1.02.rar
It is a PDAMobiz Customized Rom.
This method can be used with any version of IPL/SPL of SPV M600, Qtek S200, i-mate JAMin, Dopod 818 Pro, XDA neo. Need not to unlock CID.
......
Worked for me!!
Alternative is this: http://en.pdamobiz.com/en/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=444&PN=1

Didn't work for me :-(
I get to a screen as shown here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=59296&sid=814e31d404ccad3dd05e0b470f09415c and below:
I have an Orange M600 phone. Any help?

Does your prophet have a 2.15.0001 ROM ?
This applies only to prophets with this ROM.

yes
Yes it does - I'll get a pic of the screen later on tonight, but yeah... it is.
JJ
P.S. have you or do you know anyone who as a backup of a ROM from the phone? M600

In what form of backup would you need?
I have zero experience of upgrading these things but my phone got stuck at the boot loader yesterday for no good reason and I eventually managed to get it back with a hard reset and a restore of one of my daily back ups.
I know this won't help you but I have backed up the ROM to .nbf files using the aWizard tool and I can use the grab_it invisible ROM dumper if that helps?
If this is all that's required to obtain an Orange SPV M600 ROM I can do that but i'm surprised that no-one else has done it if that's all that's require?
Will it be worth my while?
David.

awesome
I presume that's all that I would need? If so, can you post it somewhere or PM me or even post here with more details.
Much appreciated!
JJ

Let me extract it from the M600 first and i'll go from there.
David.

Ok
Ok...
SO I have "http://files.pdamobiz.com/ROMs/XDA/Prophet/RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe " sitting on my desktop and my phone is hooked up to my PC with this screen:
I presume I now execute that file: "http://files.pdamobiz.com/ROMs/XDA/Prophet/RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe"
I then get this screen:
I click on update.
This takes me to:
I click on next
This takes me to:

Please help!

search, search and ...
first you need to download original WM5 Rom to exit 3 colour screen from any resource then read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=364082

any body faced this problem:
After deploying a new cooked room for Prophet mobiles, the mobile SPL changed from G3 to G4,
I'm having this problem now,
My Jamin was: SPL 2.13.0000 G3
After deplying the new rom it become: SPL 2.13.0001 G4
I'm stuck at bootloader & cannot do hardspl or use the original rom.
could some one help?!

YOU NEED ACCESS TO THE STOCK RECOVERY TO RESTORE(If you have CWM or TWRP installed you should know what to do).
If you never updated flash the stock rom with the install method above

If you updated use this hacked one instead to downgrade to B132 completely(then simply do the ota update again)

If you screwed the stock recovery and your bootloader is locked but its still accessible via pow + vol down, try to get the bootloader unlock code and reflash the stock recovery once unlocked then reinstall the stock rom
If successful your device should be restored back to out of the box factory state.

bootloader unlock tool
Ok.. so I got this device super cheap to jump on the unlimited lte for $50 deal metropcs had going. Tried downloading the chinese tool you had listed above, but its chalked full of malware unfortunately. Any other unlock options other than emailing huawei directly [[email protected]] and requesting [which I read on a like thread at android forums]? Did that a week ago with no response. I'm a bit worried this device is not supported anymore because of its age. Could be. Any input/suggestions you might have though are appreciated.

devhost kinda sucks now(stopped using them but the old links are still up) and its hard to download from them because of fake link(with adware) next to a real one, anyway the monkeytool was blocked buy huawei over and over until the maker of the software gave up and stopped releasing new versions for it a good while back so I'm gonna remove it.
for unlocking the bootloader I would try to send another email and put URGENT on it, that sped it up for me(on my first vitria) used the tool for another one.
there might be other methods to get the code like the script hack here http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...tory-image-t3008551/post59408408#post59408408 , I tried it but couldn't get it to work though.
personally I don't really use my vitria anymore though but hopefully someone else with chime in and post another method.
I probably clicked the wrong d/l link... over a week w/ no reply from Huawei.. perhaps you could relink the monkey tool & I'll try to be smarter
Called Huawei today 888-5HUAWEI and they gave me same instructions. I then told them it had been over a week with no response; to which, they said if the phone is no longer supported, there will be no response. A nice lil reply of this device is no longer supported would have solved this riddle for me a week ago. But apparently, this method no longer works for this device [emailing official support]; so, I'm gonna have to try some alternative method(s).
Update
I tried to update but I keep getting install abort check software version and I never seen a file Ending in msp.7z is that the right ending
you have to extract that file 7z is a 7zip archive.

Unlocking bootloader confusion (Infinite loop?)

I'm so confused, if I have android 6.0.1, and they made it so you can't unlock bootloader on this version, but you need bootloader to downgrade to Lollipop to be able to unlock bootloader, how does that work??? I'm just trying to root it, but to do that I need bootloader, so I need to know either how I unlock bootloader on 6.0.1 (MM) or how to downgrade to Lollipop without the bootloader. Please help this has been driving me literally insane for weeks.

Use Panasonic eluga software to downgrade to 5.0.2....then unlock bootloader, install twrp and install marshmallow rom from the android development portion of the idol 3 forums. I recommend the marshmallow from @The Marionette.

So on AndroidMTK I found a ton of different softwares, I see one called "Parasonic Eluga Switch Stock Rom" and it says 5.0, I downloaded that, launched EB-90S55EWLv1009.exe, but when I try to downgrade my phone it gets stuck at 2% then gives me the error code in the picture below. I turn the phone off, then plug it in to my computer, then when it shows up I click download, am I doing something wrong? I have also tried manually putting it intodownload mode then clicking download but it still does the same thing. Do I have to change something in the settings? Help please.

As I've never used the Panasonic software myself and I use Linux, not windows I'm not the best person to assist. Hopefully someone else can. You can always re-run alcatel's mobile Q software (which I think requires you to be in download mode) to restore your device back to marshmallow stock. There have been some posts with instructions..you need to do some searches within the q&a and android development sections of idol3.
I have the same problem bro, but when i tried the 2 days ago it worked for me but i failed (the software stuck in 45-5X % and get an error, but no worry thats normal that would mean that worked perfectly), but the thing is that i unplugged the device before i had the error (we need to wait at least 20-30 min) and my device is now softbricked i guess, i tried again but i get the same error as you. Someone adviced me to try to use this software to go back to lolipop (without unblocked unlocker) so after i'll use Panasonic thing, i'll try after, there is the software : http://pic1.aotcloud.com/tclportal/20160315/06/33/48/Mobile_Upgrade_Q_5.0.0_Setup.exe (you need to power off the device before plugged it i guess)

With that program it again failed at 2% at ~3 minutes
1- install Mobile upgrade Q 5.0.6 (can be found on my g drive)
2-install the drivers inside the mobile upgrade q folder
3-reboot computer
4-turn the phone off
5-launch the mobile upgrade q 5.0.6
6-click on the "upgrade phone" icon
7-connect the phone to the computer (best with the original alcatel cable)
8-should be sucessfull
or do the same with "panasonic eluga switch EB-90S55EWLv1009.exe," instead of Mobile upgrade Q.
It didn't worked for me, i guess my friend phone is hardbricked ...
Have to see how the device is shown on windows when connected..

It still does the exact same thing, goes to 2% then says the same error as above.
Many people are getting 601->502 using mobile upgrade q or panasonic eluga switch app, so then you do something wrong, because as you posted the mobile upgrade q screen (the one with the red error message) it tells you that you are not in download mode, so you either:
-conected the device before you launch the upgrade process
-your device is not turned off
-your drivers are not installed.
If all above is not right, then you have to stick with the 6.0.1 and wait for root method.

update procedure - choosing RUU CID: EVE_001

Hey sorry for my noob questions
I am late to the party, just recently I got my u11, coming back to HTC after 5 years from a sony background
This device is a lot more complicated to flash, I am reading all TUT threads and users posts multiple times trying to understand the proper way to backup/updates/restore.. but I haven't found a clear answer to my questions, I just want to make sure that I am not doing something wrong
CID= EVE_001 (which I believe is UK variant)
I am running stock 2.33 bootloader is locked / S-ON everything is untouched -yet-
(OTA from updates center says no update available and that I am running latest version)
After doing Nandroid backup to ext SD to the stock system in order to update the firmware
1- I understand that I can not flash a firmwares with different CID/MID and that will cause soft brick right ?
2- From the downloads spead**** to upgrade my fw I need to flash this file, is that right ?
Code:
30.01.2018 2.33.401.10 2PZC10000 HTC__001, HTC__M27, HTC__002, HTC__034 UHL (Single SIM) EMEA
3- This is out topic but, did someone actually succeed in re-locking the bootloader and restoring the device to stock state on this device ? because I've seen posts about some users struggling doing that

No need to upgrade 2.33.91.X is the latest firmware available. There will be an update sometime during the next weeks. But it might not be a major QMR, as it is quite sure just an SMR (Security Maintenance Release) to provide some Google patches. Next and last major QMR might be the update to Android 9 P.
Sent from my HTC U12+ using XDA Labs
Bootloader and s- status do not matter. The firmware is still flashable regardless. You do not need to change them back once unlocked.
All you do is download the current firmware, rename it, copy to external sd and boot to download mode. It will prompt you from there.
To be able to flash another firmware region you need s-off and change the cid via fastboot & download mode. Your region is currently 91. You need to s-off and change the cid before you can flash another region (ie the 401 region you pointed to)
Flashing a nandroid will most likely kill the device. Should you need to reset the phone and start over you should flash the stock firmware. If the nandroid image isn't a perfect copy of your stock system image, which it won't be, the risk of brick is very very high.

G8+ without IMEI

Hi buddys... i have a issue, a really big issue
I have a moto g8+, and I was want to update them to android 11, and a see a tutorial on youtube but my bad was no see about the tutorial was only for moto g8
After make the update with the wrong rom, the phone still working but without IMEI, the wifi and bluethooth is still work.
When I tried to flash the device with the correct ROM, i got a error like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
Checking the device, on setting>about phone> android version, the phone shows that had android 10 but the Rom that i used was this:
(the latest version on the official page to moto g8, not g8+):
lolinet mirrors - firmware, software, iso etc.
lolinet mirrors - powered by h5ai
mirrors.lolinet.com
I already tried use smart assist, the official software from motorola, to restore the device, but the same problem, the flash failed when the program try to flash the bootloader flash.
Seeing the files from the smart assist a found the correct rom, thats was i use to tried flash again but return the preflash failed.
Comparing both roms i noticed that the first one is REV retail and the second one (the correct) is DOHA retail.
It's supposed to be that my phone is DOHA because the model is XT 2019-2 (and i am from mexico, also the smart assist download the doha version).
When i use the comand to get info across the adb platform, its show me the next info:
The bootloader was change by the wrong file.
I guess that the error from the preflash failed bootloader is because the adb platform cant flash a bootloader with a lower version, remember about the wrong flash was with a android 11 version .
At the same time i tried to change the rom to a custome rom but the device have lock the oem options, i have the code provided by the motorola official page to unlock the bootloader, but i cant unlock them.
The device have deactivate the option to allow the oem unlock
Browsing on other posts, i found some options to fix them, the first one was wait 7 days to the phone activate the option by himself, did not work.
The second one was change the device to guest account and after return to the owner account, also did not work.
After that i thought... wait, the android system is like a mini linux, i supuse can use the adb shell to force the activation of the oem option to install a custome rom.
Searching across the web, i found some information about that. using the next command a tried allow the oem unlock, but the same story, they did not work:
service oem_lock 1 s16 1
This one in particular i thought it would work, but no, the same story, did not work.
Bue the Shell return me a message (i dont have a this moment the shell) like this:
cant allow the oem unlock, contacto to your carrier to unlock.
something curious is when i flash the wrong rom, only the first and second file was flash correctly, the other command display an error:
Only the red text work, the other some did not.
Also when i tried to flash the correct rom, it's the other way around, only the command to flash the bootloader fail.
But here i got a new 'error command', anti roll back.
I knew the bootloader is from android 11, then, when try to flash the bootloader to android 10 display that error, at the same time i knew i need the bootloader unlock to make a downgrade... but i cant unlock them
when i make this in particular, the device turn on in a bootloop, and I need flash the wrong rom to the device turn on "normally" without IMEI
I guess I've spent all my resources to fix them.
i need the device, already now i cant buy a new phone.
Someone can help me?... Pleaseeeeee
And sorry for my bad english, I know my spelling is horrible, I'm just learning.
I hope you can understand me
Also im sorry if the post is in the incorrect place, i tried to post them on the section that i supuse is the correct place

Good idea to flash, but Opener didn't tell us something about the status of his Bootloader => locked or unlocked.
If locked then go to Service-Center. If unlocked you can try to flash.
Can you enter recovery to make factory reset? Sometimes (0.0001%), flash memory can loose partition format, mostly on unexpected power off. And of course, if your device is unlocked, reflashing the same rom version using fastboot and adb.

The only solution is to go on a gsm service center and hope they can save your data. If you use any flashing tool you won't be able to recover your data. If your bootloader is still locked, you can't do anything to recover your data.

NO. You must have a unlocked bootloader to do something. Go to an gsm service; is the only solution.

You can't flash anything with locked bootloader, and unlocking will wipe your entire storage, only choice left is to bring it to service centre and ask them to attempt at saving data.
