Hello, this is my first post and my question is:
There are some update for my qtek s100?
I read a lot for any updates, but i don`t know if one of this is good for my qteck. My rom is
English ROM
ROM VERSION 1.03.00 WWE
ROM DATE 11/01/04
RADIO VERSION 1.01.00
PROTOCOL VERSION 1337.38
EXT ROM VERSION 1.03.100 WWE
If someone know something about update for this version, tell me.

If I were U...will update just the radio to version 1.05 which is worth of update...for all the other updates I`ll wait for sth else an first of all...the BT improvement!

In the Dumped ROMs folder on the ftp is a t-mobile WWE Version 1.01.00

Going to download...but the thing weired is the size of the fiel which varies much with standard ROMs..

Thanks for your help...but i think that file seems to be corrupted..it doesn;t work after flashing i got error in checksum...I added the 416 bytes of old rom to the t-mobile rom...
anyone has the .exe file of upgrade?

Does anybody know how to obtain the t-mobile 1.01 WWE...I tried the dumped rom in ftp of xda-developers but it seems that file is corrupted...
if it's standard .exe of ROM it's Perfect....

from the XDA ftp, where else?
I used ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/Shipped_ROMS/WWE_11200_152_11200.exe
There are many other ROM's in there which you can try out if you want :roll:
I just did it for the heck of it like i said earlier (If you wont break it you wouldn know how to fix it :wink

T-Mobile is just a service provider. Your phone is still the same
Do a Hard Reset and then Soft Reset after the Screen Alignment is done.

Dont worry. Your phone will still work. Just ignore the TMobile thing.

Hi I have a question. My Rom version is 1.11.00 WWE and I did the Big Storage trick before so I dont have the ExtRom now.
If I upgrade to this new ROM versions, will I get a ExtROM back again or I still have the Big Storage?

dinoalbert, everytime you install a new ROM you will have to do the BigStorage hack every time. A new ROM will always have the Extended ROM embedded in it.

Did you backup your old Extended_ROM?
I dont remember the CAB file name, but you gotta install that file to get O2 Connect. I think it was O2_Base or somethin
Also, is it just me or did anyone experience hang-ups after upgrading to Radio 1.13. Was like a hanging for a sec, while I m listening/watching music/movie and if I click on any other application. Downgraded my Radio to 1.12.10 right now and all is well.

Qtek S100/110 ROM 1.13 WWE with 1.12 Extended Rom Unbranded

I Downloaded the T-Mobile 1.13 Rom and replaced the Extended ROM 1.13 ( T-Mobile Stuff) With the 1.12 Vers. Works Perfect! i only replaced the MS_ File on the install stuff with the 1.12 and run Maupgrade..., installs normally and after that updated the Radio with the 1.13 that didn't work replaced.... so... i ended up with :
Rom: 1.13 WWE
Radio: 1.13
Ext: 1.12.119
so.... as i'm a friend.... here it is, jut run Maupgrade : ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/magician_1.13_QTEK_Unbranded/

Yes you can upgrade the radio & forget abiut the rom-upgrade. Use maupgradeut_noid.exe & run it twice to bypass the country id error.

I have updated the radio on the same rom with urs. it didn't need the maupgradeut_noid.exe. There is no problem with greek-english firmware.

Get the 1.13 radio from Upg to 1.13 WWE ROM (with 1.13 Radio) in 10 easy steps! @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/vie...&start=0&sid=75c5e40168a22052fb7c5554bddd68c2
& run the upgrade program. It does hard-reset your ppc so make a back-up.

Sure,
Backup your current ext-rom first for all current operator etc settings & use the maupgrade_noid.exe for the update.
Backup ext-rom by first hard-reset, go through init.proces & soft-reset just after you see the default windows wallpaper (this appears after the message 'tap the screen to begin using your device'). You need to repeat this after the update too or you'll end up with TMO customization. you can out the original ext-rom cabs on your sd & execute them to get your settings back.
