i've recently just bought an xda exec that is basic. not too technologically minded. can anyone tell me how to improve the today screen etc.
read read read and read. I got my exec 3 months ago by default (my dad upgraded and decided it was to big) I'm not that techi. I have learnt so much from this forum. my advice would be play with the exec. change the settings. use it as shipped for a bit. then search on here for stuff.

Ive just ordered an O2 Orbit having had PDAs for a few years and not being able to go back to a "normal" phone.
Its just come to my attention thought that WM6 is out, will this be on the phone yet or are O2 going to take a while to release it on their devices?

I wonder if anyone is aware of an XDA2s for sale that is loaded with WM5 ?...........It must be located in the UK and happy to pay a reasonable price....Looked on ebay with no success so thought I would try here.

you can only get them used because there is no offical wm5 rom for it
I' dlike to say thank you for all of this forum.
I lerned a lot of my Uni also, thanks to you I solved many problems.
Especially to Laurentius26 and Jwrightmcps - the kings of Universal WM 6 - I gladly used their fantastic products and ideas.
But from today I'm happy owner of MDA Ameo (HTC Ahena) so I'm going to that forum. And my Universal, which I like a lot, will be sold.
Good luck people, fight for official Universal WM6 from HTC - it's worth of it.
Hope we'll meet on forums with new HTC products.

This forum is for phones made by HTC. The JAQ isn't one. i-mate have promised a WM6 upgrade for the JAQ for years, but haven't delivered. So far, they're the only hope we JAQ owners have for an upgrade. I don't think there's a dedicated group for ROM cooking like there is for HTC phones.
