I have one problem with Himalaya ,xda2 2.03a and bluetooth headset |Jabra BT800,on incoming call there is no sound from headset microphone,but on outgoing call everything is ok.With other words if I call somebodyy all is ok if I receive a call others can't hear me.Also I noticed that on incoming call microphone of xda is enabled.
I allready hardreset my device and reinstall again wm2005 but same problem.
How can I solve this problem?
Any Idea or sugestion is welcome.

all this happened with JETware Hands-free Extension
there is a problem with this software on my device with BT800.
hardreset pair with BT800 al work fine
install JETware Hands-free Extension all seems ok,caller id works fine,audio fro0m microphone also fine but only for outgoing calls for incoming calls no audio from BT800 microphone.
second try:
hard reset install JETware Hands-free Extension pair with BT800 but same problem.
third try:
hardreset pair with BT800,install JETware Hands-free Extension,unpair devices,pair again problem persist.
any idea?

I have bluetooth headset NOKIA BH-101. it works with my htc tornado like handsfree. but i can not get it play all sounds. it only works with calls but when ii play sounds or video files it sounds out of my phone.
This gadget supports Hands-Free and Headset but does not work with voice dial function. Can anybody help?

I should also ask which ROM you're using. The newer ROMs seem to be a lot better.
I'd also like anyone who could to tell me which BT stack is included on the newer ROMs, like Nitro or vjgrace.

my ROM is WM6 by vjgrace v3.4
Again I could describe my Nokia BH-101 BT headset with handsfree functionality on WM6 by vjgrace v3.5. It works nice as headset i can hera incoming calls, answer them, call last dialed number. But I CAN NOT make it start voice calling, due to device itself - it does sounds special tone that means that voice dial is started, but my phone does not recognise it. by the way useing celetask - there is special feature - that alows you to redirect all sound to headset and it work. As for me i don't need it (you are to have special BT Headset for listening to music. This headset generates rather bad sound(but not voice).
So again
I can do:
makle calls,
answer calls,
dial last dialed call.
swap and hold calls.
I can not do:
make voice dial
any voice commands
What are the problems:
Everytime I answer the call not by the headset but via the phone it looses the connection with headset, so i need to restart BT service (or headset).
It happens even if I answer by headset but during the call i need to speak via phone then i press right softkey and choose "turn handsfree off" and aain phone looses the headset
In this case I I make new call but in right soft key menu "turn handsfree on" is not active
If it's possible to make phone speak contact's name litterally during incoming call so i could know who is calling me.
IRC, voice dialling with WM phones is a bit of a problem. I seem to recall reading about this somewhere in the XDA-Dev forums.
On my headset, the function that calls for redial is the same for voice dial (wtf? I know.) It always redials.
As for the speaking of the contacts' names, it should be possible... if your phone can speak the contacts' recorded voice names w/o BT.
The app doesnt'record the incoming phone calls, during conversation it starts automatically but without recording anything!
How to solve this problem or is there any decent alternative?

This problem was big for me.
I resolved as follows.
Using the normal headset (no bluetooth), I plugged one of two earphones on the microphone (microphone headset). So record two voices, my and other.
But I would like to find another solution.

a friend of mine have some troubles with his TP and a Blaupunkt Radio with build in handsfree.
The Bluetooth pairing was completed without any problems.
When a calls comes the radio mutes and switch to handsfree - thats ok
The caller can hear your voice over the handsfree microphone, but you can't hear the caller. It is the TP build in speaker used, not the handsfree speaker.
The TP has the headset symbol shown in the upper right corner of the dialer.
Second the radio don't switch back to radio when the call ist ended the Bluetooth Connection stays up. Only deactivating/activating of Bluetooth at TP closes the connection and the radio switch back.
I hope somebody can help me...

I had this problem with my TYTN using shaps rom. you ave to turn on the hands free on the first incoming call and then further calls are OK. (right menu and turn on hands free)
this has to be done every time you get in the car though.
Its a pain i never found a fix. I havnt used this on my Touch Pro yet.
With Pioneer DEH55BT all working fine.

But another radio is no solution,it have to be this!
Try installing jetware mobile, it improves the bt connection but I don't know if it will solve your problem.

I have a htc x7510 with windows mobile 6.1 on it. I also have the jabra bt3030 bluetooth stereo headset for a while which allows me to listen to music and to call with the headset.
The problem is, when somebody calls my the ringtone will come from my phone AND headset which is perfect. But when i receive a sms it doesnt notify my on my phone, i think its making that sms sound in the headset but im not sure about this.
Anybody knows how i can make the sms notify sound also come from the phone?

As far as i know (and i could be wrong) you cant if your phone is connected to ur headset as a handsfree but you should have the sms notification sound coming through your headset if you have set a sound for sms.
