Hey everyone - a quick and hopefully easy question!
I have a JAM with an orange sim and want to make it into an orange M500. Is there any rom/fireware that will let me do this?
I've seached the FTP but cant seem to find a big enough file.
Could anybody let me know the correct filename if one exists?
Cheers!
Mattster
Have a look on the ftp site for the WWE_112_172 build. I used that a few weeks back and it was an Orange build
Have fun
I'm trying to cook this up, got all of the ingredients +1.
Has any other cooks worked on this ROM and if you have can you tell me where the Business Email shortcut in the Start Menu originates from? I have looked at nearly every file, provxml, xml, htm, html, shortcut and I can't find it nor can I find a hardcopy after extracting the ROM.
It was in one of the Voda DLLs in OEMAPPS. I don't remember which one, but I went through and deleted anything with a Voda reference (as well as Voice Speed Dial)...
It also could have been the "SmartIcon" thing I kept finding. It was Voda specific when I checked its properties...
Thanks, I'll look there.
This is only for simplified chinese.
Every chinese font cab that I installed was having problems on my HTC Touch Pro. In particular, when opened the keyboard the English text would sometimes get corrupted. To solve this, I modify an existing YaHei chinese font cab file and removed any reference to NLS or any regkey settings not related to font linking.
Anyway, if anyone is suffering the same problem hopefully you can benefits from my experience.

that‘s good!
I was able to receive sms in Chinese and view Chinese characters in MS word mobile, until I updated my rom to the latest HTC rom. Now I seem to have lost that ability. Justinmann, will this Chinese cab you added (created) give back those features I had?
thanks thats what i am looking for
Can you upload this on zshare or some other file hosting site? Rapidshare hates my IP.

Please, been looking for it everywhere - looking for a cab to install ebook reader on my 20113030 manilla. I've looked in a couple of theards about this cab but cant find anything. If this cab exists, can anyone please direct me to it?
Thanks a lot in advance!
at this moment the cab does not exists
ohh... ok thanks for the info.
anyone had any luck with extracting ereader.cab
OK, I've tried a few cooked ROMs but for various reasons (stability, missing functionality etc.) I've decided to stick with stock 1.66 WWE ROM for now. However, having used the ereader app included in some of the new ROMs, I've found it to be far and away the best ebook reader for the HD2.
I was really hoping that by now one of the XDA Developer gurus would've managed to extract and create a standalone .cab version of the app items. I've seen the app as an icon in the Start menu on some ROMs, so either it is possible to create a standalone version or the icon just points to the same tab version in the cooked ROMs. I'm thinking it must be the latter, since if it was the former someone would've posted a link to the .cab file on here by now. This leads me to believe the ereader just may not compatible with the 1.66 WWE ROM.
I'd love someone to prove me wrong, or if they can't then at least recommend a stable 2.xx ROM that is just about stock but includes the ereader?
As Clint once said, Go ahead (punk), make my day.
