Win Mobile 5.0 (English) on Vodafone VPA IV

I just received a brand new VPA IV from Vodafone in Germany. Yup, it's really cool.
I am a US expatriate so I run WinWP on my laptop and PC in English.
The VPA IV is (of course) in German. I contacted Vodafone and they tell me that they have no English version of WM5 software for the VPA IV.
When I attempted to install the VPA IV software (primarily Active Sync 4.2, I think) the installation process throws up a warning that synchonization between machines using two different languages could be unstable and result in data loss. I discontinued the install and thought I'd come here first. Does anyone have experience with multi-language sync?
Is there any reason I can't use a "standard" e-bay English version WM5 CD-ROM to change languages? Will I lose any of the VPA IV functionality?
Does anyone have a better suggestion?
Another question --the VPA has both UMTS and WLAN. Does anyone know of a VoIP program that I can use on the VPA? I already have a VoIP account for my laptop so I'm just looking to establish connection, not open a new account.

Vodafone Live on SFR not working

Sorry, this post may be specific to french people.
I'm trying to connect to Vodafone Live portal using my HTC TyTN, but I'm not able.
SFR is claiming that Qtek devices are not compatible with the portal ...
I'm able to establish a connection to the WAP APN (wapsfr) but I can not access the the portal. Is there an issue with IE not supporting WAP pages ? or not acting as a WAP browser ?

I've a V1605 SFR and us a cab that i've with my v1640 for conecting it to the wap and miracle ,vodafone with the icone but not TV.
i don't know how upload this cab to the FTP but if you want to give me you mail i give it to you this little Cab.

I have a Imate JAMA and I newly upgraded to WM6 , but it does not support Arabic
I have tried the MobDev latest version, but it damages the Messaging system.
You cannot send or received sms or mms or email.
In wm5 I had multilingual support 1.0
I cannot find, anyone can help me.

you can find a tweaked type of arabizer in the Polaris section in the Hebrew Pack thread.. it should easily fit arabic... using the built in WM fonts.

HELP : gprs/internet setting

I had found Htc innovation or dopod 577w and I was upgrade to wm 6.5 but I can connect to the internet.
so, I have problem with internet setting.
