Hi
Does anybody know of a small programme that will rotate the screen and give more usage to the action button, especial allowing you to scroll on the Today screen.
Using Pocket PC (XDA2) Windows mobile 2003.
Thanks

Sorry to post in the Tornado forum guys, but I'm trying to solve a problem and I think only you guys can help me. I've got TomTom 5 installed on the Moto Q but after starting the program, the screen is oriented in portrait mode, however, the Q is natively in landscape.
Unfortunately, the displayed images are unreadable and just jumbled. I know that there is an option within TomTom to rotate the screen but without being able read the screens, its a practice in futility.
Can someone that has TomTom installed on their Tornado do me a favor. Can you walk me through the exact steps and button presses from the launch of the program to the rotate screen option. The button should look like an upside down smiley face.
I'm hoping that if I correctly hit the button sequence, the screen will rotate and that I'll be able to make the menus and program legible. Cheers.
Hallo @ all,
i have a problem with my windows mobile 5 device that is really getting on my nerves now.
when i shut down the screen, so the mobile is still runing but and my screen has a scrollbar, for expamle in pocket breeze oder spb diary, the scrollbar rolls down to the end of the screen. this also happens when i have a lot of today-plugins enabled on my todayscreen. there is also the scrollbar after a periode of time at the bottom.
could somebody plz tell my, why my today-screen seems to automatically scroll down? it is really annoying to scroll it up just to see the next events.
i would be really glad if somebody could help me!
thanks a lot!

Hi guys,
My problem. I'm not using the TF3D but installed SPB instead. However the question is that the screen only turns landscape when i open the key pad. Only app that it auto rotate is Opera.
It is very annoying that if i am reading news for example from a rss reader or something i have to open the key pad in order to read in landscape mode??
Is ther a fax or software which can solve my problem?
thanks everyone.
there are lots of apps that allow you to rotate a screen manually. apart from the auto rotate apps in the diamond forum, spb today plugins usually come with an item (through add item when adding an item to tab) that lets you change the screen oriention via a shortcut.
using something like aeplus can allow you to map a hardware button to screen rotation
Thanks friend
I want to DISABLE autorotate while slideout the keyboard (and map it to the button). Is that possible?
i'm pretty sure u can disable but I'm not sure where in the registery to change.... however, forcing rotation as I asked before I cannot do this way and I think I have to install something... but I'm not sure
Hello
Well I should say this two programs cant show calendar on home screen in WM 6.5. I didnt find any program for that matter which would show appointments on home screen.Fix in registry maybe anyone?
Hi
The scrolling home screen on Windows 6.5 is essentially a program that runs and hides the standard home screen. Unless the program has been updated or written to work with this new scrolling home screen you will not see anything.
If you disable the scrolling home screen (disable it in Today settings) you will see it appearing on the standard Windows mobile home screen.

Phil
Well I use Windows mobile home screen. It is not problem in showing the program.Program shows normal, the only thing that doesnt show are appointmens and sms on home screen inside that program. Its blank in the midle and on the left you can see shortcuts for the appointments, tasks, sms and mail, adress book.I tried two 6.5 roms and both have same problem.Everything works normal in three WM 6.1 roms that I tried. I curently use TOM_TOPAZ_WM6.5_v1 rom and everything works fine acept this thing.Well I use native calendar, messaging and tasks bars on home screen. No problems with them.

Hi gang,
I'm kinda new to the whole rom cooking scene. I've been playing but I can't figure out how to actually place a link to or a shortcut to the SYSTEM - SETTINGS - POWER applet on my HD2, which opens the battery & backlight settings screen.
This is where you can go in and change with the slider the actual screen backlight brightness? I want to put a shortcut to that on my front screen, or at least in the first screen when I hit the Windows button.
Any advice will be greatfully received!
Thanks guys,
MrAskani (aka right now as N00bChef to friends with this phone!!)
the way i'd do it is to install MyLight then under settings buttons assign the program to a key.
