is it possible to transfer some of the utilities in the i-mate JAM extended ROM into the MDA Compact, i'm looking for Arabic Support and the arabic utilities found in the i-mate JAM.cheers
also, is it possible to make an exact copy of everything in the MDA Compact including main rom, extended rom and radio rom.
don't know much about all of them anyway, but i have a fair idea.

I just received a brand new VPA IV from Vodafone in Germany. Yup, it's really cool.
I am a US expatriate so I run WinWP on my laptop and PC in English.
The VPA IV is (of course) in German. I contacted Vodafone and they tell me that they have no English version of WM5 software for the VPA IV.
When I attempted to install the VPA IV software (primarily Active Sync 4.2, I think) the installation process throws up a warning that synchonization between machines using two different languages could be unstable and result in data loss. I discontinued the install and thought I'd come here first. Does anyone have experience with multi-language sync?
Is there any reason I can't use a "standard" e-bay English version WM5 CD-ROM to change languages? Will I lose any of the VPA IV functionality?
Does anyone have a better suggestion?
Another question --the VPA has both UMTS and WLAN. Does anyone know of a VoIP program that I can use on the VPA? I already have a VoIP account for my laptop so I'm just looking to establish connection, not open a new account.

Hi here are the windows mobile 6 orange uk internet and mms setting tested by me on my orange spv c600 with the wm6 vannila rom great rom and now fully funcational with internet settings its in the form of a cab file just copy any where then execute and install on phone memory when asked enjoy.

Are there any wm6.5 ROM that actually work on the O2 stellar?
Basically it's very hard to find downloads that work on the O2 version, I've found a few cabs on here like Manillla 2 (weather and Youtube don't work like the Touch version) opera 9.5 beta, Total commander, Tom Tom 6 don't use Tom Tom 7 aka navigator as can only find one city map that works.
Tried various ROM's for Kaiser & TyTn II which all won't flash, the just tease me into thinking the process will complete (get to tri colour screen then error appears on PC when sync).
Only the offical wm6.1 from O2 has worked on my PDA
Can anyone point me in the right direction with stuff for a O2 Stellar model that's known to work.......cabs, TouchFlo, Cube etc

All the 6.5 ROM's on here will flash to any Kaiser (Tilt, TyTN 2, Stellar, whatever).
Sound's like you don't have Hard SPL. Follow mskip's tutorial for flashing and choose a 6.5 ROM to flash.
Most of the newer CAB's won't work on the old build that O2's 6.1 ROM update is based on. Try one of the latest cooked ROM's and then try again.
