Qtek 8300 - HTC Tornado

Can somebody download the latest ROM version for Q8300 from www.qtek.nl or www.qtek.nu or myqtek.com and put on the ftp.xda please?
Thx
Marek

Why not just get the Imate SP5m ROM upgrade; it works fine on the 8300.

the CIDs unlock is required and I don't like any experiments with CID.

What about the MEDIA keys? I guess I could just copy what I have on my current 8300 ROM and paste them into the Windows folder? Where did you find the 8310 ROM??
Anything else the 8310 ROM doesnt provide?

imate rom on qtek 8300
hey,
I installed the imate sp5m aku2 rom on my qtek 8300, so I could have a2dp. A2DP works fine, but I have noticed a drop in 1900mhz reception with the imate rom. Still works pretty well, but no signal in weak areas, where the qtek rom worked fine. Anyone else notice this?
I will switch to the qtek aku2 as soon as I can find it.

Not sure I understand your question. I loaded the SP5m ROM, which is the same phone as the 8300. The 8310 is the same as the SP5 and I don't have that ROM version. I think it is available via a link on this site...just do a search. With the Imate ROM loaded on the 8300, media keys work fine, etc. It seems a bit faster, so far, no issues at all.

I thought you loaded the Qtek 8310 ROM on your 8300. The 8310 ROM has been on HOFO for a couple weeks but still no sign of the 8300.

I loaded the Imate SP5m ROM on my QTEK 8300 and do not like it at all. Performance is way slow for some reason and all kinds of little bugs. Although none are crippling it is enough to be frustrating.

qtek 8300 aku2 rom
I found the qtek 8300 aku2 rom here:
http://www.smartmobil.no/index.php?name=UpDownload&req=getit&lid=84
but I am afraid to install it, because I am not sure what language it will install with. I have heard that it is supposed to be in several languages, including English, but I don't have the guts to try because I can't read any other language. If someone out there would try, I'd really appreciate it!

anyone got a link to a 2.0.10.0 tornado (any brand) rom??

I'm using a 2.0.9.0 ROM, that's the lastest I've got. :-\

German QTEK ROM (non-branded)

Hi all,
I got a XDA Neo with the original o2 Software installed. So I did a hardreset & softreset to get loss of the o2 stuff. I also tried other ROMs, i.e. the QTEK WWE or DOPOD WWE. But I'm still searching for a german ROM without a Branding, for example the QTEK Rom.
Yesterday evening I recognized that someone started to upload a german QTEK Rom on the FTP, but it's only 15MB
Can anyone help me, please...

I-mate SP5 rom on CING 2125

Is this possible? I'm considering purchasing the 2125 for my Father whos visitng for the summer from overseas and he has the i-mate SP3. He agreed only if he could have the I-Mate rom on it. So can i put the I-mate rom on the cing 2125? I noticed the hardware buttons are different, how will this effect its operation?
Any input would be appreciated,
Thank you.
Yes, you can do this.
But you will get some trouble.
WiFi will not work at all. (becouse this model does not support it)
I will install the latest CING 2125 ROM to my O2 Xda phone. I am very happy. Becouse now i have 20 Mb of available storage.
What AKU does the new 2125 ROM have? How does it compare with the SP5m and Qtek 8300 ROMs?

Better rom for imate sp5m

Can anyone tell me was the better rom?
actually have imate 2.6.331.2 rom.
thx in advance
you've got the latest imate rom. if it doesn't suit you, you can also try the latest qtek 8300 rom. depends on the user itself actually.

T-Mobile SDA=Qtek 8300 or 8310? Simple question confuses the heck out of me.

Which phone is the Tmobile SDA in the QTek lineup? 8300 or the 8310? I am sorry but I just need to confirm this for a ROM upgrade to the QTek rom which I hear is better than the TMobile ROM. Thanks and sorry for the stupid Q.
8300 or 8310 will work fine
8300 - tornado tempo
8310- tornado noble
just flash as usual and apply keyfix, see guide at my blog in signature below
Exactly what is the difference between the noble and the tempo?
Tempo is music version, Noble is business version
Hardware reference is the same, except for keypad and keypad.dll driver ONLY
So, then, which version is Andot's ROM?
Andot version works for all Tornado !!! Just flash it !!
??
I have installed it. The question was which keypad does andot's use? Only having had what I assume was the Noble, I wouldn't know the difference.
You just install it, then install the respective cab to enable the additional buttons. There are separate cabs for Noble and Tempo , can you please read my guide in my siggy?
So, even though my phone was the qtek version of the sp5m, I could use the other cab?
When the tutorial said that a was for x and b was for y, I assumed that they were for different hardware versions...
Yes, its just the branding
So with WM6, what is the functional difference between the sp5 and sp5m?
How are the media buttons mapped differently? (I assume it's different mapping of those buttons.)
