Hello, just flashed my Dopod with the new ROM, much faster ! Now I would need to configure all the MMS and GPRS again (last time I did it manually as I have a HK Dopod). Just wondering if anyone has a T-Mobile Germany cab file, would be of great help, also for future upgrades ?

My backup wont work from the SD-card, after I saved it and changed the org. rom from T-mobile to the new Qtek 1.12?
The T-mobile seems to be a lot better with my BT headset, more stabile BT-connection! 8)

I've only had my MDA Compact a week & decided to do a ROM upgrade.. Stupidly I didn't back up my existing rom... I chose what was the latest ROM listed on the Shipped ROMs section of the site, which is a Telstra image. I've now got a Telstra Magician, but really want to got back to my T-Mobile setup... Can anyone help? I'd be really grateful to anyone who can help me...
i posted the same question with still no replies, I tried to do the same, by copying the first 416 bytes from my existing rom to the t-mobile 1.12.00 on using the bytecopy on this ftp under uploads/magician but to no avail. Seems the only thing that works are now the i-mate roms. UK_11200_131_11210_ship seems to be the best after the original as it comes with the t-mobile extended rom. hope this helps ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/

Well, in my opinion, the same as 9100, but without the keyboard.
I want to install another rom, but before that, can someone tell me if any of the cabs in the Ext_Rom are the settings for my carrier?
I use TMN in portugal.
I've already seen the TMN_S200_WWE.CAB but i think they are only some .tsk and jpg.
If someone can help me out, i'll be glad.
Btw, what is the best method to backup the rom, os and GSM?

I have a German T-Mobile MDA Vario III (HTC Kaiser). The Phone is Sim Unlocked and CID Unlocked.
I want to give the phone to a friend of mine who lives in the US and has a US T-Mobile Sim card.
Could you guys tell me what ROM he should use and where I could download it?
I assume there is no US T-Mobile Rom for that phone so I might need to install the WWE Rom and manually? (and where do I get this data?) put in the T-Mobile USA Internet settings (or does someone have a US T-Mobile .cab I can install?).
Also Do i need to install a keyboardfixing cab?(The German Phone comes with a QWERTZ Keyboard..)

dude, you've been a member since april 2006, you should know by now how things work around here. the roms you can get from the wiki or searching or even everything below this post, internet settings by searching, as for the keyboard.......that might be special, but i think you can also search for that solution, and i think there might be something on that in the hermes wiki
I found the WWE Rom, the only thing I cant find so far is the T-Mobile USA .cab file.
Any chance of helping me find it?

Thank you to those whom found the software and helped everyone out. Up until now, I had nothing but confusing when I was trying to manually configure my HTC S740 on T-Mobile US. Internet worked, just not MMS. Now, everything works. What a relief!
