New QTEK Italian ROM 1.12.04

On Dangard site http://www.windowsmobile.it/ is finally downloadable a new italian ROM 1.12.04.

Could you be so kind and upload it to the ftp. I´m sure there are some people that are interested in this ROM but don´t have any possibility to login...

Hi guys, I'm new to PDA but expert in PC & symbian. What differences are from an I-mate FW and a qtek one?
I've tried to install the last one (154) on my qtek but only the 139 works..
The 154 gives an "Error 120" language wrong on qtek..
But since he has new features is possible to adapt on our qtek?

problems with mms
i have the following situation
QTEK S100
ROM 1.12.04 ITA
RADIO 1.12.00
PROT. 1337.42
EXTROM: 1.06.119 ITA
SD: 1GB
many problems with MMS since i have updrade the 1.12.04ita version
when i send mms i cannot because the system say me that the limit fixed in 1 kb and is impossible to change it
when i receive mms they arrive in folder in the title but the body cannot be dowloaded
when i would open an old mms it is non possible because it opens a white and empty mms.
please help me

Do u find this rom fast, or does it take 3 min to boot like my original wm5

i dont know what is the spl and/or ipl, because my phone is not able do upgrate any rom with spl above 3.08

Well I'm Going to install the original one and then post here the versions.

Is not possible to downgrate the spl... is necessary to paid for that!... but the ipl and spl betwen 2.10 and 2.20 isnt much diference, and i belive the rom official is betwen that =)

Just realize that if install the original version and the ipl and spl are upgraded, can't install my i-mate original rom anymore (device still in warranty period) because ipl and spl are inferior. maybe i'm going to install yours after all.
Battery at 40%, some time to think...

Is better... because with this rom your spl and ipl stay in the same that you have now! =)
Diga, nao esperes ate carregar a 50% nao é completamente necessario, prime o botao da camera e clicas no botao reset, vais para o modo tricolor, ai ele aceita a bataria que tens neste momento =)

I have the download at 10 % maybe battery charge to 50 % when its over .
Do u find this rom fast, or does it take 3 min to boot like my original wm5 ?

not the 40 seconds from PDAViet then. Thats to bad, lets see if i can go back again, my actual rom is nice, but the wm6 common bugs drive me crazy. And the official rooms have that nice feature, slow but reliable.

Please check the included ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe or something else
i can't install yours (maybe user error), so i upgrade to original.
by the way SPL: 2.20 IPL: remains 2.13

i have been searching this for a while thanks ... wm6 bugs are driving me crazy but it as a lot good things also...

After upgrading with the original ROM version from Tiagofa you will get:
IPL: 2.10.0001 (Remains the same)
SPL: 2.20.0001 (The SPL version have been updated from 2.10 to 2.20)

I Just want to tell, that the latest rom , or portuguese rom i uploaded, is from QTEK Original.
Why i uploaded ?
I´m tired to search and read some stupid topics in other foruns, people like me, asked to find where i can download that, in fact, isn´t available in qtek website, a stupid thing..
I have lucky to search and disponibilizad the original rom to portuguese qtek / prophet users

I Hope i don´t have problems with original manufacteurs lol

I need help with upgrading the Spv M3000 (dutch Orange) wm5 to wm6 my foon is cid unlockt en simlock free. What is the best Upgrade Rom to use for this phone. I have tried a few rom's but never had succes

basically you've opened a pandora's box by asking that question...

I believe you need to find the roms that are G4 safe.
Also, you mention that you have tried a few roms but never had success ?? What do you mean by this ?? Did they flash okay, or were you just not happy with the software ??
There is no best rom, there are roms that are built by individuals to meet their needs - and they share them with us.
What do you need ?? A fast, stable rom that offers the basics ?? Look at vanilla roms - or the latest HTC Branded as per the post attached below

Its a G4 phone and its CID locked,thats why you can't upgrade to any wm6 rom.Infact, a G4 phone cannot be CID unlocked like a G3 phone,however,it can be upgrade through 'SopftSPL' or 'HardSPL' method.

All latest wm6 custom build Roms are safe Roms for G3 & G4,as they don't include IPL/SPL in them.

First i am now using a .209 version to reMUI to dutch. Then i extract te XIP dir en then i can make a Dutch "cook".
First i test on our wizard.
Today the first step.

Now i have mine first Alpha.
The only problem, i must transport al to a XP machine to flash it. First solve a sister problem ;-)
So then i know what to do to correct some last points.
Ive use the Birtday rom because off his os 209.
Then i make a Kitchen Rom iff everyting is allricht so i can make some custimezed roms.

Use the latest ROM 6.1 but i use the wifi drivers used in WM6.0 5.2.318 build 15341. Why ?
Becouse this ROM is the last release than wifi work beautful.
D´nt happen the problem with auto-connect in my preferred wifi network.
what you think about this ?

We make some progress now. Learning all the time.
To extract roms are going well now with the HyperCore kitchen.
I extract some Dutch rom en i think that de XIP dir is the englisch core because all coredll.dll's arent Dutch.
so i extract one off one of the latest roms on the forum de snn 3.1 or the birtdayedition.
So i can say the first step is made!
Then i shall looked at the asked Wifi DLL's.

Be patient.
I extract the latest CE from SNN 3,1 or the birtday edition ;-). Last one runs very very smooth. So i shall also use the SNN.
Thats the XIP part. Then i go for the ROM and proggy part.
I hope within 2 weeks something to present.

After a lot off experiments (and reflashing) i use now the SLIM build 19.199 as base for this ROM. With this one i get almost done! Only. With this one i was almost succeeded.
It was that screen wont react. I get to the last bootscreen. That will be now a moving GIF with sound, sou will know it is Dutch

Now i'am looking for a good original Dutch ROM (latest). I found one in a Dutch Kaiser, but it didnt have the same structure till now with the HTC Rom Image editor.
Otherwise i must do some translations ;-) (MUIVER)

Almost done but i must now solve some difficulties
And also doing some translation for some programs OEM map(XML file)

I think iam almost ready
I use:
- Birtday Rom UC(very fast)
- Dutch Prophet Rom
- Dutch Windows Mobile 6 Profesional ROM Image
Compiling give no problems.
1. Test it on our Wizard (this weekend)
2. Reduce SYS folder
3. More proggys in OEM folder for custimizing
If step 1 is a succes i give the edition free

I have lot of kitchens used
I have now the .209 from TNT. but that one has not a Dutch ROM. The .209 was think the newest version
In the men time i collect i lot off Dutch (or) translated proggys
The latest status is that the first one hang on the bootscreen.
There are now some difficulties to solved and i think that i knew the sollution
Now i test it first with the TNT Kitchen and then i will replace one off the last Dutch rom in this build
I will it also chech with HTC Manilla

The kitchen is now ready and the next step is to get working on our wizard.
I must only solve the problem that i never get more than the third flashscreen.
