Okay... here comes my second DIY application for Tornado. This app can help tweaking the ClearType effect for you.
Designed for WM 5 Smartphone with QVGA screen.
Tested on my own Tornado (Dopod 577w), MS WM5 Emulator (QVGA).
Auto language selection: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English currently available.
No setup, just copy & run.

localization from WM6 can't work good with wm6.1.
mxip_lang.vol database from wm6 is different than this from wm6.1
i was translate it and i have fully (every communicates and position in settings) polish wm6.1
how to traslate mxip_lang.vol? I need to do this to use wm6.0 mui files in spanish for wm6.1

I confirm that at the following Thread Solved: Greek keyboard and contact manager MarkoDiMarko found the solution for all Greek users to have the original Microsoft Greek contact manager and Greek keyboard.
The two cabs works fine at my phone (Htc P3650 - Touch Cruise - Polaris 100) with Official English HTC WM 6.1 Release Rom (HTC Touch Cruise-RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_3.13.405.0_radio_sign_25.85.30 .07_1.59.42.15_Ship).

Hello, I have used your 2 cabs but my greek letters in SMS are not normal characters. They are ??????? I have wm6.1 english rom with the interkey keyboard and the two cabs of yours. Do you know any solution?

Maybe you didn't change the Input method from interkey Keyboard to Keyboard GR.
I have uninstalled interkey keyboard and still the same. I cannot send 160 greek characters in one message. Or 70 (unicode) or 160 greeklish and not normal greek letters.
OK, I have found the solution. Pocket CM Keyboard.
So the keyboard don't work? Only the contact manager cab?

I want to buy new or second hand Pocket PC. But right now I'm studying Japanese, so I would be really happy if I could have Pocket PC with Japanese Windows Mobile. Right now I'm using Blue Angel which was licalized to Japanese. But all the menus are still in English, and I don't really satisfied with it My plan is to buy a new/second hand one and then flash it with Japanese ROM. Any devices will be OK.
Is there anyone who could help me? I need Japanese ROM for any devices. Does anyone have the file or the download link??
Right now I already have Japanese Windows Mobile 6 ROM for HTC UNIVERSAL. UNI's screen is VGA, but the RAM Memory is still 64MB. I need both VGA screen and RAM Memory higher tahn 64 (if there's any ). I would like to have another Japanese ROM for other option...

I got a huge problem: I just changed from my oldschool Windows Mobile 2003-PDA to a brand new HTC Touch Diamond with Windows Mobile 6.1.
I used to use Powerlex 4 mobile dictionary from GData, which worked fine on my wm2003-device.
Now i installed it on my touch diamond and the program runs, but once i try to look up for a word the program crashes and WM 6.1 gives me an error message/message, that a problem has occured.
Is there any way of getting this program run on WM 6.1? Thanks!
How about just switching to a different dictionary? Lexisgoo Dictionary is excellent and works well with WM 6.1
problem is that I was usually looking for some Freeware, but no matches in google. I don't want to pay again 39,99€....the GData powerlex 4 cost me this price I want to continue using it!
by dictionaries do we mean books i was just wondering why not by the book.

I have a Touch HD with WM 6.1, Dutty's 3.9 rom, regional and language set to English(Australia) as default.
I just wondering is it possible to make WM 6.1 multilingual support?
The reason for this is because i'm not English. I have many files(in the phone) that has a foreign language as a file's name (ie. music, docs.) and is quite annoying every time when i browse the phone, no matter with Windows Explorer or 3rd party program like Total Commander, i have no idea what file it is cuz i couldnt read it(showing blank square everywhere).
Is it even possible to make WM 6.1 multilingual support?
It can be like a language pack or something that i can install to.
