As an alternative to spb phone suite, check out PhoneAlarm http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html . There is a lite version that may have take up less memory with the same functionality, plus there are some neat skins to customize it.

Most of the other additions are included in Faria's ROMs, so it's always a good idea to see what he's packed in there.
PS: just swapped from NBD 7.4 to Faria's Real Thing. TouchFLO worked fine, but I don't think it's an interface for me.

OK All there are quite a few PIM managers with really cool today plugins ie., SPB, Pocket Informant, SBSH, and so on. Give me some opinions on what you all think are the best ones. I have been trying SPB but for instance Mobile shell is very heavy and a memory hog. Help me find a good one.

I am really liking the new SPB Mobile Shell 3.0. And I think it can provide a lot of the functions that are being cooked into WM 6.1 or 6.5. I was thinking it would be nice to have a ROM that was meant to be used specifically with SPB Software House's shell instead of Manilla, etc.

But unfortunately there are no freeware version of SPB mobile shell, but you can download the 15 days trial version HERE..

Yep, need to flash Cotulla's 6.1 on it, then purchase the SPB Mobile Shell. I got it on my Jam and it's a beauty.
upgrade with cotulla rom then istall it for free...
