thanks for the files.
I just upgraded a MDA COMPACT (Tmobile) to Qtek S100 firmware 1.06 and radio 1.5
I was just wondering if i can have italian language on the pda just changing the extended rom with the one taken from the italian rom (1.03) or if i must downgrade to 1.03....

Now is there an auto-configuration procedure?
What parameters should I insert and where?

Update:
I created a GPRS connection (on Internet profile) with mms.vodafine.it as access point
After that I set the mms settings to have "connect through" "internet profile"
I renamed the default server to "Vodafone MMS Server" and configured it to have Gateway= 10.128.224.10, port 80, server http://mms.vodafine.it/servlets/mms
But I can't still receive any MMS
(when I try to do "download" appears an icon at the left of the gprs connection icon but I can't download nothing)

i have a qtek s200 and a big problem with it!
i live near the frontier germany/switzerland and my network is eplus.
everytime the network signal is getting worse, the s200 selects a foreign network and i have to pay roaming costs.
in the phone setting i have selected:
current network: eplus
network selection: manual
but it does not work!
i have searched a lot in the internet but i didnt find a solution for this bug!
please help me

I have the same problem with my s200 with wm6 smart1 ROM

Is yours the original rom that came on your device?
If it is take the phone back to your provider - it should work and they should sort it out for you.

Possible antena have a problem ... try to use a newer Radio ROM!
Read Wiki how to update it!

Do you want a WM5 ROM or a WM6 ROM?

The NVID ROM described is a basic QTEK ROM in English for WM5, and if that is all you want, just download it, flash it and you're done.

i don't no, wich is correct flashing my phone. i don't no my phone need ugrade or dongrade. wich is wothout risk

Flashing a ROM is slightly risky, though I have had no problems. Why do you need a Qtek ROM? If you just want a basic, no extras, OS on your phone, flash the AKU2.2 NVID ROM, and then follow the on screen instructions. Ignore the WM6 things.

MDA Compact & GPS Proxy & Garmin Que

Did anybody made it all work?
I have Mda Compact, Garmin BT 10, installed Gps Proxy and Garmin Que. From an earlier using of I-Go (worked o.k.) i know my mda comunicate with gps trough com5. Now, gpsproxy can't find any free port but 0, still it doesn't work. It wouldn't show any data form gps.
I have same combination installed on my ipaq, woks fine.

Could it be better? With this versions, I can't pair bt devices. is it a problem?

ROM RADIO for PHAROS

Im loooking for a ROM RADIO which activate GPS , cause the one in my ORANGE phone doesn't .
the guigou ROM is supposed to include a driver for the GPS but I think it works only for a naked pharos .

I got the same robleme : GPS worksonly with my origina Orange Rom
but, i also flash my pharos with the official rom (WWE), and so radio rom have been change, and it's the same....
I thinks the problem in not in the radio... maybe in onbl
PS I have tried Guigo's and Poldo's rom

Happy to see i'm not alone, Orange phone too and same problem.
GPS doesn't work if you change the ROM.
I think the prob come more from the Rom radio.
Because there's the same problem on Artemis from Orange (SPV650), you have just to change the Rom Radio and GPS rework immediatly.

I don't tink he probleme comefrom the rado rom.
I orignaly had 03.18.90, like you I think, ad now a I have 03.15.90 (come from the offica rom). GPS still working only with the orange rom!
that's why i'm thinking the problem come from onbl

il y a deux fichiers identique dans ton lien rom orange et rom HTC
