GetPDAScreen Landscape Capture Problem - MDA II, XDA II, 2060 Windows Mobile 2005 Upgrading

GetPDAScreen software works great on portrait on my Himalaya WM5 (1.60c). However, it does not fully capture a landscape screen. GAPI shows a garbled (portrait+lansdscape) capture when in landscape mode (I see that when using GAPI, my Himalaya switches from landscape to portrait then back to landscape). Anybody have these problems (see photo below)?

I've never tried this, but I understand from other users that MagicSS works well in landscape and VGA... Also freeware.

Yep.. MagicSS works fine here. No built-in timer functionality, so you'll have to stick it under a hardware button - or have a timer application launch it for you.

Camera v2.70 build 21026 problem...

Hi,
As most of you should know, this version starts up the camera in landscape mode. It's actually a good feature but I'm having problem with this features.
Changing the screen mode is quite slow (portrait to lanscape and vice versa) if we have several today plugins enabled (especially PocketBreeze). On starting the camera, the screen is changed to landscape. The camera shows what it should but it does not responds to any keypress. This is because the today plugins are taking turns to refresh themselves (even though they a hidden in the background).
So, is there a way to disable this feature? I already checked the in registry and found none.
Thanks.
Strange, my camera of same version starts up in Potrait mode automatically...
After install move new camera.exe to /windows catalog and replece old one.

Permanent landscape mode on LEO HD2

here is my story,
I have just bough a HTC Touch HD2,
before that, my phone was a HTC P 3600 with a ROM faman and HTC plug,
this phone works perfectly and I have used it in landscape mode only ! because I have a car mount and a boat mount ( on landscape orientation of course)
My problem with the HD2 is that a phone call or calling a program will automaticaly turn the screen to vertical mode!!! even with B4All CAB file
here is my ROM: MIRI HD2 WM 6 5 X 28205 sense25 v1.5
ROM radio 576Mo
I have installed B4all and manila landscape.cab
please, is there anyone who understand me? I don't want to see my screen turning each time I call a friend or a program
iam kinda interested on this too, help us
Try Changescreen!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468488
I want this -- also for HD2
manual roatate only would be ideal.
I wish I could dissable Gsensor?
cabs that have failed me (or me them? for the complexity of some tweak utils)
gsen
enable autorotation sense
rotate screen
changescreen
tx total landscap
gyrator
-NOONE of which can hold down landscape
Some chefs, use packages whithout landscape support, these ones have to be carefully chosen because not all packages available work well on landscape mode, even with the enable_landscape.cab.
Cheers.
Landscape mode for HD2
If you use a different browser(set @ default setting) like 'uZardWebP' which I do,in it you will find in the settings (landscape mode) which actually changes the reg val's and shift everything to landscape (phone, text, contacts, etc)
suggest you use SPB Shell 3.5 with this Browser(works great)
uZardWebP is even a better browser and the best replacement for SKYFIRE,Which you'll find (connection failed) error(we wont get into that right now) but this is your best option.
Let me know how this works for you if you choose to try it
maybe you can try navipanel?

landscape caller Id

I have the Stock updated rom on the HTC Fuze. I am annoyed that the caller Id/incoming call screen does not come on in landscape mode.
update (work around)
I come up with a solution that allows me to use applications in landscape mode and be able to screen incoming calls.
I had previously used advanced configuration tool 3.3.0.0 to enable landscape mode. While in landscape mode the dialer screen would malfunction if the keyboard was closed (even if I used screen changeScreen v2.78). Apparently landscape under screen in settings is different than open keyboard landscape. I had to either always have the keyboard open to view apps in landscape or answer every call.
I checked again to see if anyone else had this problem and knew a fix and came across my post. Maybe someone else with the same problem might find this post and be directed to the posts below.
I currently use the sensor to rotate certain applications. The device stays in portrait mode so the dialer cprog works (after a delay).
Sensor auto rotate:

select programs to auto rotate (I leave the phone in portrait):

landscape mode

hello,, is there a possiblity to make hd2 do a lanscape mode on either direction? i mean if you turn left it will landscape and if you turn right it will also lanscape.. many thanks
PS; i mean landscape left or right for sms, mails, note, internet, photos, musics,etc.... thanks again!!
Are you talking about the home screen? I have tried looking but cannot get it to work. XT Hack Beta2 has an option for manilla rotation (homescreen) but when i enable it and turn the phone it just goes black. Also with this enabled the lanscape scrolling of pictures and music tracks are messed. I like the idea of having the homescreen rotation enabled (and mayb all the other tabs except music and pictures coz they have it already). Maybe you have to have a wallpaper in landscape option like in the HDWalls add-on for the HD2 (but i dont think that is compatible with CHT 1.7.1). Hope someone can figure it out
THIS seems to work well.
But also has many other features. May be more then you want, but has some nice rotation functions.
yes, there is an application that makes this happen i am sure... I used one before called changescreen, I think that it does what you want.
give it a try...

Camera Apps bug on Chacha (Camera360, Camera Effects) working only in portrait?

Hi guys,
I'd like to underline a problem I have with some applications for camera, like Camera360, Camera Effects, Pudding Camera and so on.
Even if I set the display to not rotating (in other words, always landscape), those apps when taking a photo take it in portrait mode, and I have to rotate them manually with another program.
The strange thing is that while capturing the image is set in landscape mode (so I have the illusion that everything is working fine), but when saving the photo it is rotated by 90°, like it would have been taken in portrait.
Do you know how to solve this problem?
It is very uncomfortable to rotate manually every photo taken with those programs.
Hope you the best, thank you!
Marco
