QTek 8310 goes crazy on sending MMS - HTC Tornado

I have configured my Qtec 8310 for MMS, and sending and receiving works, but the damn phone goes totally crazy on sending MMS. It is sends every MMS out for numerous times, and although the MMS are sent, the phone thinks that they're not sent and always keeps resending them (Messages will stay in the Outbox and wont go into Sent Messages). This is a really serious issue, as this costs me tons of money. So I had to disable MMS at the moment.
Any ideas what can be wrong here?

I am Spanish, and I have the same problem with MMS that you. When I send a mms, the qtek indicates a error and the mms is resending several times. I had configured the mms for 1 time resending only...
But, the most important is that this problem is with one operator, because I tried with another diferent operator and it work fine.
I hope the solution to the problem.

MMS Problem

Hi,
I got spv c600 n upgraded it to wm6
when someone tries to send me an MMS message, the phone connects to GPRS, but i doont get no notifications of receiving any message.
When I click on the message icon, i only get outlook e-mail and txt messaging. no MMS
can anyone one help me pls
I have been using WM6(the andot version) on my Cingular 2125 for about 3 months now and love it. One issue that I cant seem to resolve is the MMS. I know that if you go into the TEXT MESSAGING and then click Menu, New, and then you can select either SMS or MMS. But I cant receive any MMS, unless I go to create a new one, then it shows that I have a received one, but by this time it is already expired. I cant seem to find any settings that affect the MMS Gateway or such, so any help would be great.
Update***
Now I seem to receive the message about a week later.
What WM6 ROM are you using?
Try Nitro's or EA's version. There is also a setting as to whether you prefer messaging to use GSM or GPRS somewhere.

Got similar problem here with wm6 Eng_Standard v.3.1 running on c600 - I can send MMS but not receive - instead of that I receive SMS notification that this MMS was placed somewhere on GSM carriers servers. By pressing Menu>Send/Receive the top bar shows 'Error Synchronizing' message... Is it possible to change some settings to fix that? Any suggestions, please (my HTC TyTN on the same carrier copes with this issue without any prob - Sends/Receives MMS's both ways).
I suggest having a read of this thread...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343434
.. it may answer a few questions. I have MMS working perfectly on o2 UK on the "perfect English" ROM with the settings I posted in the above thread, no delay in receiving messages.

Sending Blank Text Messages

Hello all,
When I upgrade to any of the roms (XDA, NBD, SNN, etc...), I seem to be sending blank text messages about 50% of the time. I would write something to someone, and when they receive it, they get nothing but a blank text message. The text message is being sent, but the message is getting deleted...? It's very annoying!
When I revert back to the original Cingular 8125 OS, I will have no problems with sending text messages. I don't think it's a radio rom issue because I don't get any missed calls. I also read on the MMS issue, but I don't send any MMS.
Has anyone had this sort of problem? Thanks for your time!!!!

MMS handling problems?

My Niki is getting a little, er, awkward at handling MMS at the moment, I'll explain :
It does seem incredibly slow at downloading/opening MMS, and invariably the messages are nothing more than plain text (some friends who have bizarre text plans).
I can be in the middle of writing a text message, and then an incoming (text) MMS is received, and the phone is basically useless whilst the message is coming in.
And earlier it decided that it wasn't going to open any of the MMS that had been received this morning, would only open SMS.
Left it for a few minutes, no change, so decided to do a full power off reboot. Started back up again, and it had deleted all the messages that had been received in the last 10 or so minutes.
Any suggestions on what I could do to improve the general SMS/MMS handling? The phone is running on the stock Orange rom.
ps. please don't suggest using pocketcm instead - it doesn't seem to be able to send SMS at all on my Niki

Failed MMS "erased" all prior threaded texts in conversation

Forgive me if this has been discussed before; I searched but didn't find anything. I'm using an HTC Fuze, no major changes like a different ROM or anything. After I tried to send an MMS (two pictures in one message) to a contact, it failed to send for whatever reason. The problem that after attempting to send that message, I looked in the conversation thread for that contact, and all of our prior texts (a few thousand) had been seemingly eradicated, except for the failed MMS that I had just tried to send. Looking in my Sent box, all of my texts to that contact are still there, but neither my sent texts nor my received texts from that contact appear in the conversation in my Inbox.
However, if I turn off threaded SMS via Advanced Config, all texts from that contact appear in my Inbox. When I turn threaded SMS back on, they're gone again. I know they're on the phone, but I can't get them to come back to the threaded conversation! I've deleted the failed MMS that caused all of this, but that hasn't seemed to make a difference. Does anyone have a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

MMS Error

I've been having problems sending MMS (pictures) to other people. I have changed my APN and tried everything else but it doesn't work. The funny thing though is, I tested sending MMS pictures to myself, and that worked. Any tips or solutions guys? Anything is appreciated.

I got data to work on CM10/AOKP with the GSM setting enabled; I can receive messages, but somehow I cannot send messages. Any suggestions?
