Hello,
i have a huge prblem with my XDA Mini. The phone has a loose connection that means I cant hear the person, i am calling. When I'm hitting the XDA Mini it works sometimes but not for very long.
I took a small peace of paper and jamed it between SD-Card. This works!?! But its not the real solution for my problem. I bought the XDA over the internet, and thats why i want to wait as long as possible before sending the device to the technical support, because this can take weeks!!
Is there any way to open the xda to get to the headphone so that i can fix this small issue??? I want do this without leaving a scratch on my PPC because i dont want to loose the warenty!
Please help me!! Thank you in advance!

Have you tried emailing the guys over at www.pocketpctechs.com If you ask them im shure that they will know what the problem is.

i love xda pda.
i have xda,xda ll,xda lls & xda lli.
but today i have to ask u guys abt the
xda lls,lli & exec problem u are facing.
I have send my xda lls for repair for 4th time with 9mth.
We bought such a expensive Pda is to help us in our work etc..
but this Xda lls & lli is giving me so much problem.
its even screw up my business and important call.
Yup,i know hard reset and soft reset will help but how many time do we have to reset this?
I even saw exec are giving lots of user problem too.
i called them and they r always right.
All we want from the XDA is just a STABLE XDA.
Not a xda that we need to reset reset & hard reset.
If you think 3th party software will caused the problem then don`t offer us any 3th party software in your website or in O2 connect.
Come on XDA Please do something.

Hi guys/gals,
I'm going to be getting a work mobile in a few weeks on the O2 network in the UK. I was thinking of a blackberry but then saw the XDA's (HTC). I don't really need a PDA but its a works phone and having excel would make my job a lot easier as I don't have a laptop but need some access to excel in the warehouse, as well as outlook and messenger when I'm out on site.
Now the 2 that's I'm looking at are the XDA Stellar (http://www.my-xda.com/devices/xda_stellar.jsp) and Orbit 2 (http://www.my-xda.com/devices/xda_orbit2.jsp). The problem is that they are just re-branded on the O2 network and I cant figure out which are the related HTC phones. So could someone tell me which are which so i can do some more research.
I have been reading review and seems the Stellar is a better PDA/phone as its got the slide out KB. But typical O2, i cant really tell what are the differences as one pages says one thing and the other something else.
Does the stellar have a touch screen like the orbit, with the same funtionality?
Both do Wifi and GPS?
can i get tomtom software for the XDA?
whats the battery life like on both phones? (I have heard horror stories when using 3G or WiFi with a sub 4 hour battery life)
Can u 'image' the OS and stuff like u can on a PC to back up everything? (i ask because I do like to have a play and its nice to know u can get it back to factory settings again)
any helpful links u peeps might have to gimmi a help deciding? reviews, guides ect ?
Sorry for all the questions. I really like the look of them but have never had a chance to use one so I thought i would be best to ask soem people who know the in's and out's.

Hello all, I work at a laptop/pc repair shop. We want to add to our services phone unlocking. One important thing is to make sure it is done at a professional level, without relocks after update (like many free iphone unlocking soft cause). for my own phone, for exmple, for Sony Ercsson or Samsung, I would use Wotan, but is this the way to go at a shop level? Would I have a separatepiece of soft for each brand, or do I strike a deal with each operator? We want to do as wide a range of phones as possible, and if it comes down to purchasing credits or so, we would be prepared for bulk. I would appreciate any bit of serious advise. Thanks mates.

SO: Buy such a box, insure your computer will take it and start working

and I NAILED IT...
.....but the in pull to hard and tore the "connector" out, so I have now no signal... :silly: (pics will be on the bottem)
My home community just show me a (good) repaire service (27€),
but moreover I want to know if I can fix it by myself. :fingers-crossed:
I also heard something about a conductive silver glue that make me hope, would this work??
Or are they any other options or ideas??

im in the same as you..cant find the screen in stock..also make a search on EBAY without success...there's a place in The Netherlands
