TomTom have just released the latest Mobile update, v5.20. This update adds support for WM5.0 handsets and in particular those with QVGA Screens such as the Orange c550 and the equivalent models on other networks.
Unusually you require a card reader in order to install the update, this cannot be installed via ActiveSync or Nokia PC Suite.

Hi all,
I tried upgrading to wm2005 and then installing tt5. but i keep getting invalid application.
will tt5 run on wm2005 without any probs or do i need a patch?
my version of tt5 is a legit version.
any suggestions gladly received

you can go to iphone-forum.org..plenty of s/w for ppc.
Xda mini's latest official rom is 1.12. there is a 1.13 rom which u can try to upgrade to.just search the thread

1/ TOM TOM is excellent, else it wouldn't be so popular! You can find out more at http://www.tomtom.com/products/category.php?ID=1&Language=1 and you should be able to buy it at consumer electronics stores like **** Smith, or perhaps for cheaper off eBay.
2/ Please search the forums next time! The latest version of WINDOWS is Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, however the latest ROM of Windows (check Start > Settings > System > Device Information in your Magician) is 1.13 (T-Mobile) or 1.12 official O2, as mentioned earlier.
3/ Not a clue. However I have managed to google a review of TomTom + SirfStar II GPS with a HTC Wizard (http://www.theunwired.net/?itemid=3206), which is pretty close to what you seem to be seeking!
Etencorp released official WM6 for glofiish devices in English/Russian/French/Chinese. Maybe these rom will be useful for us (es. MUI, new build, etc). Direct link for WM6 WWE:

As of yesterday it was available at their internet site for download, they switch back to the WM5 update..... and left only the WM6 for the Dash.... Keep an eye open....

No, not until now. But a TT7 version for Android is already planned and was intended to be ready since the launch of Desire Z etc...
