sis files to cab files convert

hi all
just wandering if anyone knows how to convert sis to cab file and actually make it work on ppc?

No, there is no way: .sis and .cab are totally different file formats.
Symbian and Windows Mobile are not compatible to each other.
Compare it to Mac OS and Windows.

[Q] Access/Modify Boot.ini

I was told that you could modify the boot.ini file for Windows Mobile 6.5, I was wondering if you could modify the boot.ini file for Windows Phone 7?

[Q] exe files on 7 pro

i wonder y i cant down load exe files on my HTC 7 pro, its new. I attempted downloading an application for banking which required java and it just did'nt even download. can any 1 help with some advice?

The system itself cannot handle exe files. It has no exe interpreter.
You can download any type of file using your application and save them into the isolated storage. But you cannot do anything more with them if you do not implement your own interpreter of the format.

dialer file location

Where is the dialer files located for windows mobile 6.5?

In the windows folder. The dialer is made up of .bmp and .png files and a thing named "phcanImages".

[Q] nokia lumia 710 , windows phone device manager

Hey all.
I have a Nokia Lumia 610 . Dev unlocked. Running 7.10.8858.136
Anyone any idea how to view the file through windows phone device manager? I need to download this file, and save the SMS entries to my PC.
When I use device manager, I cant see a folder called
\Application Data
\Applications\data\ ... (in this there is only one application folder available)
even there is not anything in Mydocument Folder.
On the root under file explorer, I have
My Documents (which is empty)
Windows (lots of files in it)
Application Data(only one folder)
When I open the Application Data folder, I only have a 'Key Storage' (certainly no Microsoft folder, and I tried typing it incase it was hidden or something , but just a ping sound and no refresh of the file list)
and when I open Key Storage, I have no files.
Any help working out why I cant see these folders / store.vol file would be very much appreciated
