Official patch for QVGA devices released today. TomTom Mobile 5 works like a charm on my SP5m.

the tomtom is abit outdated..
and i want it to work with pocketgps POI for speed cameras
What I can tell you is that route66 mobile 7 works perfect but when you quit it you have to reboot the phone because it messes up quite good.
does this work with what you need?

I don't have this problem.
Is there a cab for this? I found the ones for S60 on N75, but I'm not sure if those will work.
hi guys don't know if you can help but i had a htc touch hd and i had garmin mobile xt on it so when i got my hd2 today i installed it on to the hd2 but it just freezes on there. Is there any over satnav software out there what i can you on the hd2 if so please let me know here or pm me please thank you
Hi, I'm using copilot 8 and it works smoothly also I tested tomtom which is also pretty good too. Hope it'll help make a choice

...btw, I am using Garmin on HD2 without any issue.
mines a t mobile so maybe its the rom ?

i have garmin xt working very good in my hd2, try to install again.....

side track, are your poi icons small? I can hardly click on them cuz they appear so tiny.

Mine actually came built in to the ROM, works good. Prefer my actualy Tomtom unit though.
I have the navigationsoftware Sygic mobile maps 9 but i want to use the TCM.
Does someone know how i can use it?Must i install a app for receiving TCM??

Watch the hyper gps thread for an updated version for our HD2, TMC simpley doesn't work (yet) on a HD2.

I have been trying to install Sygic but after I start the setup it just hangs and stays frozen at the I AGREE page. Nothing happens.
Has anyone had similar problem?

TCM doesn't excist, TMC is what the talk is about.

Not without an external TMC receiver it doesn't. Up to now TMC signal is not working without the use of an external TMC receiver.

I didn't buy the device yet....
audio box works but as the device is wvga and the app is vga it doesnt fill up the screen. You also have an issue exiting the program... ie/ i cant figure out how to do it other then pressing hardware home key to get back to home screen and then using task manager to end the process. Even that is dodgy as Audiobox insists on sitting on top of everything else.
Not 100% sure about Meteor but i dont think it works as if it did it would still be on my sd card... (looks like i deleted it)

I installed the Audiobox Demo on my HD2 (TMOUSA version, latest stock ROM).
The app installed fine.
But it doesn't run. I click on the app's icon, and nothing happens, it does not start.
Same thing happened when I tried it on an earlier WinMo device I had.
I think the demo is very buggy.
I don't see how the developers could expect people to buy this app (more expensive than most mobile apps), without even providing a demo that works!
Any hints to get the demo working?

meteor works. it's v.cool
does'nt fill the screen as previously stated, but definitely worth getting.

sorry i was being sarcastic, i didn't program it, i was trying to say i have no idea why the gps is activated. i don't think my gps got activated. are you sure it was skype and not a different app you had installed?

Here is 3 mobile in UK, why it FC.... I'm using MOTO Milestone
Only the Skype_0.10.0.15_3UK_live version can running, the newer 1.5 version FC fc instantly

yes i noticed this first time yesterday, very strange. i have gps turned off, so this doesn't happen to me usually. wouldn't be surprised if they are trying to use the data for marketing or something even worse...
best to turn off gps for now i guess.

Yes, I did so.
It support android 1.6 and below, everything above that iv tried it on force closes while its loading contacts.

Working fine on Desire with cyanogenmod 6.0.2 Froyo2.2 and latest radio... The biggest annoyance though is that it does not work when wireless is enabled... I have Skype from 3 on my nokia and it works on the 3g connection regardless of the state of wifi...
It drains my battery very fast when locating by wireless network is enabled.
Android system disconnects the mobile network as soon as it is connected to the Wifi, so it is not capable of doing that.
