You have to familiarize your self for reading.

ok i'll explain in 4 steps because your really need enough memory for running winmob 2005.
1: Buy some extra memory for your own head
2: Buy some brains to fil up your own memory
3: Think with your brand new brains what you should do
4: And all further information you can find here : http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php

, specially the 4th ... excellent !

Aaaahh come on guys, don't play so hard on him...

Are you a beginner?

if he's a begginer at least he's not rude...
mate, the short answer is: each device has it's own especial windows mobile, it is not like windows that you download (or sometimes actually buy) and install, there is no windows mobile 2005 for your device (yet).

ok guy i wil descripe for u but not now

Why do you have to be a beginner to be polite? No, I'm not a beginner and I've been following every thread concerning wm5 and magician. The only thing is that:
1. There are people visiting this forum with sincere questions and still have to get aquainted to this forum. You should help them instead of nagging them.
2. I don't like being treated sarcastic when I'm a rookie with something, so I don't treat others that way.

Hi everybody
I'm new to all this.I've bought a SPV M5000 from abroad a couple of days ago. It's been used a little i see, found some contacts etc..

I'm lost... Can I upgrade my Magician to WM6.5?

I've been trying to work out whether I can (or not) upgrade my Magician (iMate Jam) to WM6.5, but found out 1) that search is (semi?)broken, and 2) that you guys use a hell of a lot of lingo that I don't understand.... So please, can someone tell me whether I can upgrade a Magician model to WM6.5, and if so, could you please point me to relevant tutorials/downloads? Hopefully I'd be able to understand them, it's not like I'm afraid to tinker.
TIA!
Welcome to forums
Have a deep read here:

Good luck,
Ok, it says I can do WM6.1 . It doesn't talk about 6.5 though. Any advice there? Or is it just too old? It IS my brother's old one.
If you cook your own ROM you can.

All is matter of reading and searching
have a look on your device section on the forum, perhaps someoene already have a 6.5 ROM
Here , R1 is 6.5. But it is for 128 machines only. To put a 6.5 on a 64 machine would leave so little ram, the phone would be unusable.

[Q] Making a windows mobile port for a tablet pc?

Hi fellow members of XDA!
This is a question I putting to the community (hope to receive more answers than my previous question.
I've been browsing around the web for the last few day in search of way to make my own tablet pc. I think I found some interesting things to get me going and I do have an old laptop that I think I could easily use for my adventure. And so, now that the Hardware part is (in theory) solved I've reach another problem. The OS part. I know android is open source, that most likely I would easily put linux running on the machine, but somehow I want to make it windows mobile capable. Call it a whim if you want.
After reading some stuff around this forum about rom cooking (and I'm no programmer) I have more questions than answers.
So my big question is: If a XDA Rom Cook had access to the device specs, could it build a windows mobile rom for that same device? What specs would he/her need?
Another idea of mine is: I have an old blue angel and a prophet stopped at home. Could I salvage parts from them to the tablet pc?
And here is another question: Where can I get the touch screens, casings and other tablet pc components? Does anyone here knows?
Thanks for reading. I'll start on this project soon and let you know how it goes.
Cheers

[Q] I need help so I dont brick my phone!

I just got an HTC HD 2 today from a friend, and it already has a version of android on it. I dont know how to replace the android files without messing up the phone. Can someone help or walk me through this?
i know this aint help but have u tried the hd2 section
also is your name from coheed and cambria lol!
I have looked through the section and I cant find anything on how to replace the files. Yes it is. The greatest band ever!
sry i dont know anything about the hd2 and yes sir you are correct i just saw them in dallas for the neverender tour 4 hours of nothing but coheed it was amazing my 3rd show i may add new orleans, little rock, and dallas!
you shld be able to ask the same question in that thread im sure someone will be able to help
If your friend was so generous to give you that nice piece of hardware I´m sure he can guide you to replace the Android OS with that Microsoft crap. Your friend has invested some time and energy in the modification of his phone so he would be interested in having you enjoying it, too, wouldn´t he?
To be able to help it would be useful to know if android rom is nand (ie has replaced the original wm6.5 os) or is running from sd card.
When you boot up the phone, does magldr load?
I would suggest you do go over to the hd2 forum and look at the sticky threads, tey have all the info you will need to change/update android to something newer or even change os completely to say wp7?
If your droid is nand, it is very simple to update, just head over to the HD2 nand forum
Cheers.
Thank you everybody for being kind and not throwing noob slanders at me. The friend who gave me the phone actually bought it off of someone who put android on it haha so this nice phone is a hand-me-down for sure.
