Does anybody have an original Swisscom ROM available ?
I updated my device wit that ugly T-Mobile ROM, without backing up the Swisscom ROM in advance...
I have no original Swisscom Rom but a German unbrandet QTEK one.
Rom: 1.11.01GER
Radio: 1.11.00
ExtRom: 1.11.146 GER
I upload it asap to the FTP.

Thx for the tip! It worked! I've uploadet two Qtek Roms to the FTP. A German and an English unbrandet QTEK 1.11 Rom...

Have fun! I've testet only the german one. It works fine on my S100. The english one shoult work proper too but i've not testet it yet.

the german one worked for me as well!
just to let you know, swisscom will issue a upgrade very shortly. i already got the update from the technical support using their ftp-server.
but the upgrade will only work, if you have an original swisscom rom on your system, it checks if the device is a 'mobile assistant' as swisscom calls it!

Any big differences between a Swisscom ROM and a generic Qtek/Jam ROM? I ask because sometimes I put my company's SIM into my S100.

My french is better than my english but anyway, I will try to share the information. I would like to ugrade my MDA(T-Mobile with the brand new ROM.
That seems to be the 1.06.02FRE/1.06.551/1.05.00 version. Do you know if this upgrade is available, if yes where can I find it ? Also did you tested it ?

I made a Romupdate on my MDAc and i forgot to make a backup of my old rom.

Just got it today and have spent the whole day trying to find a QTEK English written web site . Does one exist ?
Tried to access the XDA FTP site but can never get in , is this someting I'm doing ( IE 6 ) ?
The Imate ROM is better with the Extended Partition CABS I would like to put that on my QTEK if possible? But need a ROM of my QTEK first (Ship)

Hi, just got my Vodafone V1240 smartphone aka imate SP5 and dopod 577w. THe V1240 don't have MSN messenger in it. And i need support of it reading chinese wording.
Only dopod 577w firmware have the chinese support.
Where can i get a 577w firmware? Easy and safe to flash the vodafone v1240 to other firmware? THanks

Someone has uploaded the ROM to FTP server, you can find it in the /upload/tornado folder. It's the newest AKU2 version, Trad. Chinese, UI can be switched to English. 37MB.

Yes.
If you decide to go ahead you should know that it's your choice. I've had no problem flashing ROMs but other people have.

After updating the S200 with the new dutch rom update from qtek.nl I'm encountering problems with my device like that I can't be called after a while but signal seems ok and I could only receive sms after a soft reset.
I couldn't find the original dutch rom in the xda ftp.
I hope someone can upload this and that I could reinstall this rom (I hope that this will be possible)

What radio ver is currently installed?
This rom is installed:
PRO_DT_NLD_220732_22007112_024721_Ship
Radiorom: 2.47.21
I think the Qtek NLD original shipped rom can give a resolution to this problem, because with the original rom I didnt have this problem

yep that`s the one but here it comes
wen i upgrade whit this rom i got the message that it is the
wrong vendor and wil not upgrade
even it is a dutch orange spv m600 g4
now i can only use a english rom???????

i have the qtek s200 uk version and i want the dutch one too, just a kangue pack with words (for sms) also works for me !
