Bootloader Help needed

Hello Guys,
I found this Forum after a long search.I have a qtek 2020i and when I was trying to upgrade the ROM it all went dead and it shows on screen as usb or serial v1.01. I dont know what to do Iam desperate.Someone told me to flash the ROM ,
1.How do I Flash the ROM , what is the procedure
2.And then how do I proceed so that my QTEK works and iam ready to use it and make calls.
I would be really Greatetful if someone can help me out here . My email is [email protected] or you can post the reply here too.Please Help

Plz don't post in each and every forum and thread,as you have already double posted in 'Alpine' forum and upgrading thread,there's no need to post all over the xda-Forum,wait for someone to answer your problem or read through the Alpine upgrading thread,you might find answer to your problem.

Was just about to flash my HTC Kaiser and it did not work.

It was bought in October 2007 in Hong Kong and I now wanted to flash it after i bought it on ebay in December 2007
I used the flash for noobs info and got the following error:
Error number 238
my SPL is 1.93.Jump
The rest on the bootside says KAIS130 and CPLD-8
As LAptop i use Apple with MAC OS Leopard
Hope you can help me with that!

there was no need to start a new thread

did u do the hard spl before flashing the rom?
im a newbie too so i wouldn't know what to do if u did do the hard spl

also try searching XDA using Google...i found several hits for error 238

First flash Hard SPL, than flash anything else

it said something like corrupt RUU or similar got to check it tomorrow

holy crap...read the sticky for flashing your 1st rom! thats why its a sticky! Everything you need to know is here!

All of the roms are equal and harmless to your device if you follow the correct flashing procedure. Try them out and figure out which one is the best for you.

This has been asked several times before
There is no best ROM
The best ROM is the one fits you better for your needs and preferences
Please do some reading and find it for yourself
Try severals till you getthe one you like more
My personal preference goes for Tomal ROM´s
