It looks good. The most intresting thing is that it supports different hardware. So it's a very big chance that it will work on Magician. And the usb support as I understood means that it works with PDA with USB host and BT dongle.
It will be very nice to test it, but is the anybody knows where to download this driver?

The USB support means it's a step closer to us using it on our magicians, as our bluetooth chip goes through the internal USB control rather than serial.

I believe Bluesoleil stack used USB as well... so I guess this new version will work on the magician...
it would be great if it is possible to install it into the Storage not RAM...
anyway... we'll see what would happen later

Can any one upload 1000-wce
I looked to much for that stack but there is no hope
please if any one has that stack please uploasd it
thanks

RE
May be HP iPAQ hx4700 might have it

thanks

hw6515

I think it would be great for the experienced members of this board to start taking a look at the hw6515. It is after all made by HTC. There is so much crap on mine, and I wuld love to take mst of i off. So anyone who knows what they're doing...help! P.S. I think Imay have extracted the rom but when I try to open it with the rom editor the passwords won't work, and I have tried several others. p.s.s i also unlocked ipaq file store and ipaq rom using the Harrier_EXTrom.Unlock.exe found on this site, however there is next to nothing in it.
Okay I just used DumpROM and extracted all the files in my ROM, I am completely new to this so what would be the next step?
I have upgraded to HW6515 from mini too, was able to install CallerID for HW6515.
Hope this website will support HW6515 too.
Yes me too i have now got a HW6515
And is very very good
I do hope that support will be on this website
Can any of you guys post the BT Cab file here so that we can try it out on the XDA's ? Apparently, the HP6515 BT stack supports BT voice dial and is very stable with clear audio without any static.
Would be highly appreciated.

as for the voice dial its very good ihave just had in a few southwing headsets and they work very well £11.99 in P & P from ebay

I'm thinking of getting thr 6515 but it is still very expensive at the moment. Has anyone managed to get BB Connect for it yet? Until this is available I won't buy. Plus later this year it is supposed to have WiFi and WM2005 added.

Hi Guys!
I'm in HK and already upgraded its ram to 128MB!
There is one guy who tried this and was successfull.
I also love 6515!
I too would love to see a specific ipaq 6500 forum on here. (since it's made by HTC behind the scenes)
Here are some good URL's for anyone looking.

USB wifi-stick & magician

Hi there,
Does anyone knows whether a usb wifi-stick works with a magician? Or why not?
Thanks, M
No. Because it requires USB host function which Magician doesn't have.
Too bad, there some much cheaper than sd-wifi :-(.
Thanks though, M

Windows XP to use Wizards Bluetooth

Hi, I'm wondering if any of you know a program that will let me use my phones bluetooth as if it was a bluetooth dongle for my windows box?
Kinda like that storage card program.
1, welcome to xda-dev
2, nope, unfortunately, there is no such app.
Ah well, didn't think there would be, but worth asking, will just have to grab a cheap bluetooth dongle sometime

USB Host + Mass Storage - Best Option? (USB OTG?)

Hi,
I'm a .net developer, looking for mobile device for a prototype application and was hoping I could dip into the knowledge of you guys!
I've done quite a bit of research but I don't want to make the same mistake as last time (v.bad experiance with a toshiba G900!).
I'm looking for a phone that can support usb host, so I can plug-in a bespoke device that supports USB mass storage. I've taken a look through pdadb (a fantastic resource!) but unfortunately it doesn't mention people's experience's with the phones listed.
Does anyone know a phone that supports mass storage out-of-the-box? I was initially looking at usb OTG, but I havn't been able to get my hands on a phone that supports it.
-thanks for any help that you can give me!
120 GB trekstor USB with athena is working
hello,
just look up searching words athena and trekstor und you find my infos
P.S. perhaps you are looking for s.th. like that
Cool thanks for the reply.
Sorry to be picky, but I don't suppose you know of a device that has more of a smart phone form factor (i.e. smaller) rather than the athena?
EDIT!
Sorry, that didn't sound right! Thanks for the advice, just wondering if there are anymore devices around.

Someone correct me if im wrong,I do highly believe the diamond, raphael have usb host, and also im not too sure but the opal might have it.Regardless you need the 4 in 1 cable for all said phones, even the Athena im using now to write this.

Thanks for the reply.
Looking at the diamond - I think it only supports USB client. Unless there is a workaround to make it support host?
HTC Diamond comparision: http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacom...d7=1386&id8=1312&id9=1558&id10=1305&id11=1365
Unfortunately, it appears the same for the rapheal:

If there is a cooked firmware that can get these devices to work as USB host that would be great. But it would be awesome to get something that supports usb mass storage without modding it, as debugging my code would be made much easier on a top-notch reliable device.
-thanks for the help.
I'm not sure, but i think i heard someone saying artemis supports usb...
O2 XDA Flame
O2 XDA Flame has usb-host and can read many usb-pendrives I've tested, but not all of them!!
It's the best one I've had 'till now.
only 2 htc devices i been able to verify supporting usbHost are athena and Shift
flame not being a htc device also support it
as far as i know usbHost is not usb otg which i never heard about anybody getting to do anything
Cool thanks guys for all your help.
It's a difficult to find concise information on the subject - thanks for your help.
It would be great to compile a list of all devices that support usb host etc and
peoples findings of them e.g. if they needed a cooked firmware, if it needed extra CE drivers, if it supports powered devices.
Perhaps once i've finished this project, i'll whip together a webpage of my findings.

I don't know if there are going to bemany people who are willing to crack open their TPs to test this. I would also doubt that there are going to be any android drivers since that would require that the developers have a TP with this installed. Very unlikely.
Thanks for this fox!! I was always wanting to see about adding a radio card to the TP. I knew the difference between the cell version and regular version of the TP had to be a simple module connected either via ribbon, coaxial, or both. Some simple empty space ready for a radio card to be plugged into it. I guess I was partially right. :3
I really will consider doing this. Although I am loyal to T-Mobile USA and it doesn't seem to support this Going to check out some disassembly videos and see what I'm up against. But it would be nice to have a cell-capable TP.
Bookmark saved, thanks again!
What about this one?
Ericsson F3307
Seems to be the same one used in epad, so I'm guess there are drivers for it; so I'm guessing it can be used on android, but for webos it'd need porting - maybe from the android version or the linux version (don't know what the dependencies are).
Or maybe others too.

I just want to save someone from damaging their TouchPad doing this mod. The modem will not work on a WiFi model since their boards are different. The 4G model has the connection for the AT&T modem whereas the WiFi model doesn't have the connection present. I've learnt this through swapping parts out for servicing my TouchPad 4G on a mule TouchPad WiFi.
