I just bought a MDA in Austria and now I want to upgrade it into a Simplfied Chinese Rom. But the upgrade failed, and a friend told me that this is because the boot version of my MDA is 1.02.
So can someone help me with it?

There's no official update from T-Mobile yet... but using that method, you can flash your MDA Compact with the ROM for the iMate JAM

Can anyone tell me if this is right, I have a mda compact on t-mobile if I was to flash with the o2 mini rom would this turn it in to a o2 mini so I could use it on o2?
also can any one tell me what the lastest english o2 mini rom & ext rom verion is?

No, it's not right.....
If you could use the device with o2 depends not on the ROM. It depends if the dveice is locked by t-mobile or if it's unlocked......
So, if your device is unlocked, you can use the o2 network with any ROM available for the Magician.......
Latest english version should be 1.12.00 .....

The mda is currently simlocked to t-mobile.
So even if i was to change the rom to o2 mini this would not mean i could use my o2 sim? is this correct
If so is there any way I could use my t-mobile mda compact with an o2 sim?

and firmwareversion: 2250.10.12401.207.
she bought a prepaidcard from vodafone, and the dataconnection didnt work.
Vodafone said, that the phone can have a o2 branding, so vodafone can not connect to internet with that phone.
Can anybody give me an indrodution step by step, what i should do?
-Downgrade and root and unlock and delete o2branding?
