I have lost the accompanying CD of XDA IIi with the true fax software, and the voice dial software.
Where on the net I get it.
Why not contact O2 and ask them to send you another CD?
RE: Lost XDA IIi CD
You can download the apps.zip from 02 support. Just put in your IMEI number in and you will have access to the progs.
02 Link.

I've read thrugh all 15 pages of this forum on Bluetooth and GPS
My Rom is 1.03.00 USA
I am on the T moble system USA.
on my PDA under
Start / Settings / System / Bluetooth Settings
There is no setting in my PDA for (for select Bluetooth serial port setup)
Will upgrading to O2 Rom work in my device and will it get me working with bluetooth GPS
My PDA is an XDAII
Have you ever tried a bluetooth gps??? If you have what problems did you have?
I think for all ROMs under 1.72 you have to install bluetooth tools
see http://bluetooth.i-networx.de/index_e.html
if you're going to upgrade to 1.72 there's no need.
Thanks I have used the Pharos GPS with a Bluetooth enabled iPAQ and it works fine
I need to get a serial port setting on my XDA II
My question is weather these roms

Will work on my XDA with USA t Moble
My curent rom is ROM # ( V1.03.00 USA ) 9/24/03
I know the last one you have there, the final will allow you to have a bluetooth serial port setting. However I must be honest I haven't had any luck with it without the previously mentioned bluetooth tools, which have their own set of problems.

Regretfully I can not download from their webiste since my registered XDA mini is too new and I can therefore not download something I (in their eyes) already have.
Since I have tried the QTEK 1.06 upgrade I am contemplating to downgrade to the original O2 1.03 EXT ROM.
Any pointers where to fin dthe XDA Mini EXT ROM would would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Do you mean that you want an O2 mini rom with traditional chinese ? If yes, you can get it at ftp://xda:[email protected]/Magician/Chinese/o2miniHKCHT.zip
Sorry, I need the English version.

just delete the radio.nbf and the ms.nbf files to only update the extended rom.
Thanks, but in order to download I have to login or register. If I login with my current account, the IMEI code of my registered XDA mini results in O2 saying that I already have the latest ROM - so I can not download it.
If I try to create another account, it is asking me for an IMEI number or else I can not register. If I put in my IMEI number, it will again say that I already have te latest ROM and not allow me to access your link.
If you can access it, could you download it and post it on the FTP here?
I have checked the FTP but there is only the Chinese version...
Any help would be appreciated at this point!

Hi all, I just got my O2 Xda II Mini few days ago (from USA) and tried to register at seeo2.com to download the new ROM. However, I kept getting invalid IMEI number and after corresponding with support, they told me that my IMEI is European IMEI. Does anybody has working IMEI for the seeo2.com site? Or, would anybody know where to get the latest ROM?
Thanks for the help!
William
I accessed in see02 and get newest Rom for O2 mini. You can check IMEI again! I've live in asian.

Hey,
I'm trying to use my Vodafone NZ SIM in an XDA II that was purchased in Singapore. The XDA II has O2 branding and software, PH10B, ROM = 1.60.00WWE, Radio = 1.08.00
All of the PDA / PPC 2K3 features work fine, except the phone will immediately disconnect any numbers that are dialed. Also, no data connections work.
NB - I have tried all the (free) unlock tools I can find with no success.
Am I doing something dum?? Do I need to load a new ROM?? Please help...
Thanks, Gerry

It worked on Friday!
This link should get you partway there:
http://xda.o2.co.uk/software_updates.jsp?cm_sp=OnlineHelp-_-MobileSupport-_-O2Xda
Select your phone, WinMo version (only 6.1 was there), and then your serial number. You should then get a couple of ROM options.
