The xda 2 that I am selling has the very latest 1.66 rom and is perfect in every way, good as new. My phone number is 07709146509 I have brilliant feedback on Ebay and have powerseller status, i use the same nickname as on this board which is cruisin-thru so if you want to check me out just do a search by seller and enter my name. I had a problem with a buyer that tried to fraud me via paypal and because they got kicked off ebay they now make up a new name and buy my items then refuse to pay, makes it impossible to operate, thats why I am offering it here, they have fetched far more than this so £350 is a bargain.

Just found this site. It's great and thanks. Especiall since I recently needed to unlock a Siemens SX56.
However, before I found the site, I found a schmoe on eBay (Tommy [[email protected]]) who was selling unlock software for $8 US. I bought it. Then I found this site, and realized what he was selling was the XDA Developers Special Edition ROM.
Isn't this totally wrong? Shall I report him to eBay?

So he copied the CDA-developers free software and sold it to you for a price? Some would say he was smart.
That's a matter for the developers of ths software and their license agreement (if they have one).

As with most things in the public domain, he can claim he is charging for the service of distributing the software rather than the software content, he is within his rights to do so.

This whole site is 'grey' at best (depending on where it is hosted of course) , so let's keep the authorities out of of it - OK???

I'm selling mine, I listed before in ebay but the person never paid. I am selling it with a 1gb SD card, 2 stylus, 2 batteries, original HTC case and was asking $270. I have images that I took for ebay.

The site is reliable, but don't expect much quality (screen, construction, materials) or development options on Chinese phones (most of it will have to be made by yourself).
Look up on internet if there is a developers community for the specific model, but if this doesn't bother you, you like the features of the phone, and it's a good option for you (price), buy it.

I usually buy from Amazon, be careful with eBay there are some fake electronics there with poor quality, especially in terms od cheap chargers and phones.

Buyincoins.Com (china) is reliable in terms of delivery and payment. Also, free shipping and they know to mark stuff as a gift to avoid import costs.
Actually, about 70% of the stuff from DealExtreme (dx.com) comes from buyincoins. (it literally said so on both the packages I got from dx, but they charged me twice what buyincoins asked and took 6 weeks longer to get here.)
Just don't expect the pictures on the immitation products (like a nameless ipod) to be accurate.

TechDY basic bear, anyone buying?

I have a pre-order on this phone but I do not know whether or not to trust this company and buy this sweet little phone. By the end of tomorrow I'll make my decission but I was rather curious if anyone here is going for it ?
Their website does not show any specifications anymore like it used to and paying by cc and giving a company like this my cc information is kind of risky. Qualcomm 600 + 2GB ram for only 199$ too good to be true?

Yeah I ordered back in June/July too and just got the request for payment too. I'm hesitant to pay too especially given their site has no new info and their Facebook is very much outdated.
The fact the email says its automated too makes me sceptical.
I emailed them asking for more info but heard nothing.

Techdy Bear Pro Preorder
I sent mail to Techdy and Also ask some question in Bear Pro Add review but they didn't replied:crying:. I told that your website and Facebook page not updated a long time ago, why we provide you our credit card information can;t you give us Paypal Option so that it will be safe and secure rather than loosing $283 including shipping we are happy to pay 10-15$ PayPal charge at least our money will be safe. also i asked when u will revel the upcoming bear specification and handset picture but no answer, guys i think it's a totally scam. these Chinese can do any thing to get your money, their website Alibaba is worst scammed in money catching, same thing i suspicious in techdy, i also preorder the bear-pro but still i didn't paid, very much unsecured for money and credit card information leak. those who paid first confirm the handset in hand with all specification than after we can think about it. remember it's your hard earned money and nobody want to waste it on some noodled people.

I had originally pre-ordered the bear pro but unsure what has happened. well I hope to hear some good news from guys that have already paid. techdy doesn't use Facebook anymore, or at least their own page. abandoned ship I guess. who knows.....
