I am using an imate Jam to sync with my Exchange account through ActiceSync over GPRS. Works very well for me.
However, I also use server-side rules / filtering to move email into subfolders. If I get an email that stays in my inbox, the standard Today screen messaging plugin will report "Outlook E-Mail: 1 Unread". But if a rule has moved this message into a subfolder, the Today screen will not report the new message, even though it is synced to the device and shown as an unread message (with count) in the tree folder view in the message app.
Is there any Today screen plugin that checks not only the Inbox, but also subfolders, and triggers a "new email" alarm as a normal email in the Inbox? Ideally even one where I can mark certain folders to trigger this and certain folders to not have an alram? Or is there some other trick (e.g. registry) to change the default plugin?

Thanks for the suggestion, but WebIS Mail actually does the job even worse than Pocket Outlook. It does not have any today screen plugin (not even one for the inbox), and notifications for new messages and automatic mail checking in general were way too unreliable for me to use this tool...

Ein ähnliches Problem hab ich heute schonmal irgendwo gelesen. Da wurde der Fehler durch Motomizer verursacht. Wenn aktiv, vorher abschalten.
Ne andere Möglichkeit ist das Fehlen einer SystemApp (Bild z.B.). Hast da was runtergeworfen?

Hi everybody, i´ve a simple questin... I´m using Microsoft Exchange. the mail automaticaly goes to different folders in my inbox. if i go to the settings i can sync the different folders... no problem... but my HTC HD dosent ring by an incoming email in any folder. If an email comes to the inbox direct, its ring... can anyone help me?

Hi, kurz und knapp, ich hab nen Exchange server und da regeln erstellt, die die emails von verschiedenen leuten in verschiedene ordner verschiebt. Mein HTC HD synct mir die mail auch alle in den ordnern aber er gibt mri keine meldung das neue emails da sind und ich muss immer nachschauen, wenn was ohne regel in den normalen posteingang kommt dann klingelts... klar... was tun?

there seems to be an problem with WM Outlook on WM 6.1 (official releases).
This only happens when:
eMail account is an POP3 account using a SMTP server for sending mails.
If in the text, there is an (.) dot followed by "Enter" within the first line, the rest of the email is truncated at the recipient.
To test, i assume you can use any text, but in this case, following text was used:

Now, I tested this with an O2 Stellar (WWE, 6.1 official ROM) and an HTC TP2.
Both produce the same error.

No one out there, who can help to find out how to fix this issue in registry?
I use my phone to connect to Exchange 2010. I quit from Android due to battery life and went back to a old WM 6.1 phone.
In the first few days, I'm happy with Outlook Mobile for it's high efficiency and flawless integrated with Exchange 2010. This phone has upgraded Outlook Mobile in 2011 so I'm also happy with the threaded email function.
However, the phone sometimes reboot on it's own. Consider many apps have been installed on it, I don't think it's WM's problem but I gave it a 'hard reset'.
The good thing is, the system works quick w/o reboot. Unfortunately, it went back to a old Outlook Mobile w/o thread and in small fonts.
Google tells me the update is

The link above is already dead, but I ever saved the updater installation cab in my sd card and I believe it's same one, based on file name and file size.
But after I installed the updater, it ends with no connection to upgrade server. I believe MS removed the update files as well as the setup file above.
I tried some thread email from XDA, but all of them are for WM 6.5, so didn't work on my phone.
Upgrading my phone to 6.5 is no way.
Now I feel I'm abandon, and I guess that's how WM 7.0 user feel. If I can't get thread email back, I swear I will never buy a phone with 'Windows' logo.
An alternative solution will be someone having upgraded Outlook Mobile 2010 running on his WM 6.1 send me couple of files to make it work on my device...
But I'm not sure whether anyone can help me to do so
