Does anyone know if the XDA II will finally support the bluetooth headset profile? That is basically the main reason I traded my XDA for a Sony Ericsson P800.
It probably will, the bluetooth app in WM2003 looks capable of associating with a wide variety of bluetooth devices.
It works!
I got a T-Mobile MDA II for testing and tried different BT HEadsets
all worked.
P.S. There will be a pack back with VGA Out
Any original headphone with your MDA II? Is it the same as the XDA I? :?:

I spoke to O2 about this. The xda II supports the bluetooth headset profile but NOT the bluetooth handsfree profile. So bluetooth car kits won't work.
They did say it would be fixed in the next ROM upgrade for xda II.
Supported BT Profiles:
Audio: Headset-AG
Internet/LAN: DUN-DT
Serial-DevA
Serial-DevB
OPP Client
Generic: GAP SDAP
I have XDA II works with Parrot CK-3000 BT Carkit but I am not able to use the Belkin BlueTooth Access Point to access to Internet. XDA II dont have Lan Access Profile
Hello,

Jabra 200 works fine. Although on occasion I have to re-pair the device. It still shows on the list of paired devices but does not work. This happens once or twice a week.
Hi Guys,
I just wanted to know if there was anybody here from Melbourne, Australia that has a bluetooth headset. Just wanted to ask a few questions.
I dont have a head set but I have a BT car kit that uses the bt headset profile.
If you have an XDA2 I would appreciate being able to see if it will conect to my car kit. I want to get the XDA2 if it will work with the kit in my car.
Shoot me a PM if you can help.
Cheers
Jon
I tested XDA II working well with Parrot CK-3000
Hi!
Tell me guys, has any one of you by any chance tried X-micro BT headset? I wonder if it would work ok with mda ii...

Has anyone sucessfully installed the Widcomm bluetooth stack on the Xda II mini???? If not can someone please post the stack cab file so i can try and get it working
did u manage to find the bluetooth stack
nope, i've got A reward out for the first person to install the bluetooth stack and get it working will get a deposit of 100 euros.
Why do you need Widcomm? Wouldn't this work just as fine:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=14747&highlight=
nope, the only bluetooth stack that supports high quality audio output is the widcomm/broadcom stacks.
Has anyone tried this on the XDA mini?
http://www.ppcw.net/?itemid=2210
the mini needs to have the widcomm bluetooth stack first, is uses the MS Bluetooth stack so no it wont work

i originally bought the HP Bluetooth Headphones for my iPAQ HX4700, but then i bought a XdaIIs, returned it after two weeks because it was too big and swapped it for a mini, but the mini does not have widcomm bluetooth stack so i cannot use the headphones. I've got a 200Eur Reward out for the person who gets the stack working on a mini.
I'm thinkin about the Bluetake headphones myself.

If your device doesn't have A2DP, there's a dongle you can plug in to do the job.

Have your HP phones worked well with any PDA?

yes with any pda with the widcom bluetooth stack
Walshie, even if you managed to get the Widcomm stack working on the mini, you still can't listen to music thru the headphone since both IIs and mini doesn't support anything other than voice calls on the headsets?? Am I wrong????
I'd like to have Widcomm BT stack too. The Microsoft one doesn't allow LAN BT connection
There's a difference between Bluetooth headphones (stereo headsets that are A2DP compliant) and Bluetooth headsets (lower audio quality HSP compliant). The Widcomm stack and Broadcom stacks will allow A2DP and HSP if you have it installed on your HTC Magician or HTC Blue Angel. The Blue Angel has the Broadcom stack which is now A2DP compliant. The Magician however is still missing the Broadcom and Widcomm stacks, hence you can only use HSP, and a few other profiles. Walshie wants the Widcomm or Broadcom stack so he can use his HP BT headphones with his Magician. It's a tough crack.

yes it is a tough crack, also the widcomm bluetooth stack i've found to be more stable and has more functions available to use. Also bluetooth keyboard which the MS stack does not support.

yes you are wrong there, once the widcomm stack is installed it will stream all voice, audio, music from the mini to the A2DP headphones you have.
Hello, it's possibile to connect headphone in my Omnia for listen music via bluetooth??
Sorry for my english!
omnia on plantronics 230
I also having the same problem pairing my omnia with my plantronics 230.
Only the headset service was available.
I have an HTC TYTN II with the same problem paired with my plantronics but after installing btaudio.cab I can listen to music with my plantronics but it doesnt work with my OMNIA maybe because my HTC was using WM6 with WM6.1 for omnia.
I already did update from samsung but still the same problem..

No it's samsung fooling around and/or missing this one. I had no problems with my fuze and other HTC devices
If you have a i900, go to modaco.com:
http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-...ld-21725-21028-with-bt-audio-fix-31-may-2009/
and read like crazy and then flash your phone and then use this:
BTASP.CAB (23.1 KB)
to turn on the audio routing. make sure that you pair your device 1st. works for me
if have a i910, i can't help you
BTW, modaco is much better than xda developers with omnia stuff...

hello,
some headsets don't support A2DP so you can only use them for talking. I have a GGTelecom headset(dont know if that brand is good or not) and it supports A2DP so i can listen to my music with media player. if it's only one ear, it probably dont support A2DP.
