Looks better than Universal.
Does it b***ocks!!!
Looks bloody awful to me.
I quite like it. Less likely to go wrong than the Universal as the Universals screen flips
Only a QVGA screen....

this thing only has a 200mhz processor? thats going to be super slow isnt it?? I think I might have to get the samsung i730 to replace my magician . I am not to happy with the speed of my jam at 415mhz so I dont think I will be able to deal with something twice as slow. I would love to hear others opionions about this. Does the OMAP processor work difirently than the Xscale so the actual user speed may be close to the same??? does anybody know?
On that Windows Mobile site, they said it's alot faster and better than the Magician. So I guess those processors (or a combination of factors) work differently.
I still can't over the fact that they went for mini-sd. I'm dying for my JAM to go 4GB and this thing is going to be limited by the mini-sd form. That sux.
dude but under 200 mhz processor just doenst do it for me

got the same Mouse, btw.
the mouse.....ehm..ever tried a Razer Mamba? I just bought the Sidewinder as an extra..because idk why my mamba is acting up (clicks stops responding :|) but on comparison...the mamba blows away the sidewinder by miles >.> its much much much more smoother even at max dpi ( i play CSS as a pro ^^ ) so ya..mamba = win..but lachesis = > win then mamba..thast just my two cents on mice ^^

thanks friend, will check it out.
I love how narrow the Sensation is compared to the typical 4.3" form factor.
This phone will be mine.

Mate it seems slim but it isint really...it feels much bigger then the HD2 to be honestly..and on the whole if you message a lot your much better off buying a 3.8 inch screen then a 4.3 inch..its much much much easier to chat (i chat upto 6 hours on my phone sometimes and so yea i got experiance ) if you want movies..then HD2 + Android + HD2 Extended battery is the best choice I watch anime through QQPlayer on HD2...i usually run Imikas Desire Sense RAM (its a old build but really stable and nice) so ..yea..depends on what you want to be honest..i travel a lot and need a lot of battery thats why i have 3 phones

Everyone is anxiously waiting to get the official CynogenMod 9 support for their device to enjoy the taste of vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich.
This Chart will help you calculate the possibility of getting a CM9 update for your device.
So Will you see CynogenMod 9 on your device...???? Let's hear it from the comments....
Thanks for the chart. According to that, we have a 50% chance of getting official CM9. Not exactly the odds we were hoping for.
****ty odds.

It is, although I have a feeling the CM team is being conservative with their likelihood estimates so they won't hype expectations. Even if your device is getting an official ICS update from your manufacturer, they only give you a 75% chance. I can't image CM9 not coming to your device in that situation, so I bet the chances are actually a lot more than 75% for them, and therefore probably more than 50% chance for us (especially with the DHD getting official ICS).
"Does it have dedicated GPU" is the point that ruins the whole chart to me.
Did you ever see a PC powering up and showing something on the screen without any kind of GPU? And where was the screen connected to at that point?
The same applies for phones. Each SoC has its own GPU, good or bad, and such an item in the table makes it more of a joke.

I didn't understand that either. Even the lowly G1 had a dedicated GPU of some kind.

So i kind of fell out of the phone loop after my One X was stolen and had to use my POS Samsung Infuse. My taxes are coming in and i want to get a new phone again. I been debating on the Nexus 4 because the specs look pretty beefy and the reviews have been good, plus i like the ascetic to it. I'm just leery about it since LG doesn't have the greatest track record on phone since the G2x was a HUGE disappointment to me and the HTC G1 and G2 where my favorite all time phones. So in a nutshell, what phone would you suggest and why (also i don't want a note to, i don't like the size of it. 4.7-4.8 is perfectly fine for me.) But thanks in advance.
N4. G2x wasn't a nexus so a lot of stuff wasn't open source. That's why it was a mess. I still miss my g2x tho

It was a decent phone but it was way too buggy even if you flashed a new rom like Weapon. But like in said the reviews look great the only discerning thing is LG's track record and I don't want to wait weeks for it it. Plus I'm not sure if any decent phones are coming out in Q1 or Q2. I'm not going to get the S4 just because of how fast they come out and people jump ship to the new flagship Galaxy S phone.

R: What new phone should i get?
I'm actually thinking of upgrade to an xperia Z. It will be worldwide released soon. It gas awsome specs falso if for some a bit old(the processor) but it is dust proof and waterproof. And last but notte least Sony already released his kernel sources, so there will be really good developing!!!

This phone is very old man! Development is definitely above average. I would suggest a different phone though as it's outdated and you have much better alternatives. Look for moto g or moto g2(if you can wait)
I will buy this phone because is at $100 dollars and Moto G is at $200.
An underrated classic
I have mine rooted, tweaked and overclocked to 1333 mhz. It's Antutu benchmarking at 13611 which is faster than many medium grade phones coming out now. I also picked up the lapdock from eBay for 60 and ever since I've not been relying on my laptop for writing, emailing, watching movies or surfing the Web ever since. As soon as there is compelling reason I imagine I'll try upgrading to kitkat but it's running so smooth fast and solidly now I'm afraid to risk it. Be advised however, the kitkat and jellybeans ROMs break the HDMI function I. E. Lapdock-ability.

You will run into battery issues which is not a happy thing when you buy a new phone. Seriously, even though the hardware is still good, the age of the phone is more than 3 years. It was made for android 2.3... and barely got ICS update officially. There should be better investment for $100.
I finally buy a Moto G in my country (Chile) for $150

Specs and Developer ordering info direct from manufacturer
Time to get in on the ground floor!
So what will you do?
Withe the changes to Android L, would you still consider a device such as this?
Looks like an interesting device, but the website mentions it will only be sold to approved companies. Not too much of an issue because I think the Z4 will have pretty much these exact specs. I think that will be the first big brand device with an 810? Rumours say it will be announced early January and available in March.

I'm mostly basing that on this leak: http://www.androidorigin.com/sony-xperia-z4-specs-leak-4gb-ram-z3x-exmor-exclusive/
810, 2560x1440 screen, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage. Not sure on the huge array of sensors but I suppose it will sport most of what the Qualcomm phone does.
Found this little ditty
The first Snapdragon 810 smartphones should make a first appearance during CES 2015, coming from some of the most important manufacturers. To be more specific, the LG G4, HTC One M9 or Samsung Galaxy S6 could use it, the latter being less likely, as Samsung seems to be preferring their home-mad Exynos.

If LG doesnt lock the bootloader again this will be a killer device and i would buy one most definitely.
If they do lock it, another paperweight for many of us
