Messed up my rom upgrade please help!

Hi,
I tried to upgrading my ROM for my O2 XDA II Mini, but I think I used the wrong ROM and now all that comes on my screen is Serial v1.00 or USB v1.00. There was some error that came up as it was flashing, about being the wrong model.
I bought the English version in Hong Kong and I think it might have been shipped from Australia. I have spoken to technical support and they have suggested I need to take it back to them for a 5 day repair.
Can anybody advise how to get out of this situation?
Every time I try to upgrade the ROM now it comes up with wrong country ID.
Also is it possible to flash and O2 XDA Mini with the I-Mate JAM ROM as I don’t think I can find the correct ROM for this model and country phone?
Where to download the latest ROM? Would it be on the CD I got with the phone? I have also tried hard reset but no hope.

Log into the XDA Developers FTP Site and download the original rom that shipped with your device.
Connect your device and run the rom upgrade, it should be fine.

Ok trying this now!

Just comming up with country ID error. Going to try another ROM.
There arent to many O2 XDA Mini shipped ROM upgrades in the FTP.
Is there a way to change the country ID?
If you suggest using GetDeviceData.exe it keeps saying not a vaild win32 application. How to get this working?

Not without the passwords for the roms. These are hard to come by and I'm not aware of them being available yet.
What rom were you running before you did this latest upgrade?

Is there any way top get past the country ID problem or does any one have an O2 ROM from Australia or Hong Kong English.

Looks like i'm taking the phone back to the shoop tomorrow. Not gonna try the upgrade again!.
Maybe I will try a back up and psot the rom here. There seems to be no O2 XDA Mini ROM's ion this site.

Hi,
Does anyone have the Shipped Rom of Simplified Chinese? Doesn't matter which version. I can't seem to get the SDCard Method of loading the Rom working.
I only know that method of upgrade.
Just want to make mine magician unit to Chinese so my mom can use it.

I already did a search and checked the FTP. I need a simplified chinese shipped rom. Which is not there. I am asking for someone to uploaded again. There is on Tradition Chinese shipped rom.

Hello, my second post here.. the first one really didn't bring me any REAL answers . Got an P51 Benq-siemens from my friend, but it's all in taiwanese. I'd want to change the language, since i can't make sense of taiwanese. So can you guys help me to do this? Can i flash the phone with P50 tools?

[REQ] Searching unbranded WM 6 ROM for SGH-i620/i640

Hi,
i have a vodafone i640 (the i620 from vodafone is called i640 and has a metal front) with windows mobile 6 from ebay.
All networks can be used, but I want to delete all the vodafone stuff. I never had a smartphone with wm6, so I need to know whether
• I need a new unbranded firmware
or
• remove are there tools to delete the vodafone live! links and the stuff?
• Do I need a special WM6 version, because the uncommon display resolution of 320x240!?
A adress where I can get unbranded firmware or tools for this would be really helpful.
The i620 should also work on the i640.

the i620 has diferent hardware from the i640, so i guess the i620 rom wouldn't work in a i640.

hi, i revive this post to say i got firmware for this handset and cedownloader , but do not know how to put i flash mode , does anyone know how?
if needed can share this fw.

I have i640v (voda) and searching (with no luck) for clean wm6 or 6.1 rom.
kaligola this firmware is for i620 or i640 (its not the same hardware).

sorry for 620 tought was looking for this too , not have for 640 sorry anyone knows how to put in boot mode this i620?

Does a 6.1 rom exist for the i620? Also, to the person who has a a rom for the i620, where did you get it? I just purchased a i620, should be in this Friday...I can't wait!!

Yea, I was thinking about that...but I just need to read up on how to dump rom and what I can change and not change(still looking for a good thread on how to do that).
But mainly I'm looking for 6.1rom for my samsung i620. Someone on here said they have a rom downloaded, but I'm not sure if it's a 6.1rom or just a clean 6.0 rom

There's also a link to english rom, but I'm almost sure it's another 6.0. Yet it differs from mine. Its i640bugk1 and I have i640bugi4.

I have a problem with a htc t5388i clone bought from china, the seller sent me the phone with win 6.5 installed in spanish, I need english, so I've flashed the phone with an older version of rom and now everething it's ok, except for the camera, it doesn't start at all, my original phone specs are :

I need the same rom
I got also the phone from china and it had the version C03.021.14 ENG. I tried to change the language to Solonomi GER which has a production date from 16. April 2010. All i got was a white screen. On the way back i tried every possible rom i could find on the internet, the only one working was C03.021.08 ENG but without camera-support.
I have seen on ebay that there are even phones out with C03.021.14 GER.
Whoever has such a ROM C03.021.14 please share it with us!

Yes, I've solved the problem, the chinese seller - a dumb woman - sent me the original rom after 2 months, but the phone is a joke, the sound is bad, very low level, you have to have very good ears to hear something and I must say, all chinese clones are crap phones, I found instead a chinese brand, very good, it calls iPro, very good phones and batteries. I couldn't back-up my spanish rom but I can get it for you! I will contact via e-mail! All the best!
