Let me give it a try:
Your SD-Card was formated and all your data are gone?
Or Bigstorage isn´t really bigStorage.
Or maybe XDA II mini is a MDA Compact?

RIght, I follow the instruction to upgrade BigStorage. But the SD Card was not active. PLease help me !!

Is there anyone got the above ROM ? I am so regret to upgrade my O2 Mini ROM and Radio ROM to the new version, 1.06 and 1.05 for Radio. If so, please kindly upload it to the xda-developers ftp site. Thanks a lot my life saver !!
I've made a backup my XDA II mini ROM to SD card. Then I copy to my PC as XDAII.nb1. But it's too big for Upload (191 MB when compressed), my connections is 33.6 kbs
You can backup other XDA II mini ( from your friend) to the SD card. Then you restore your XDA II mini
Appreciate if you can explain how to do the backup of ROM to SD card? Thanks

Until now never flashed my device with any ROM. But i think i would preffer the one with the big storage....
Don´t know what are the imporvements of the new ROM, so it could be also the case, that i flash the "old" "cracked" T-Mobile ROM....

VPA_german_1.11.01 works
Now I flashd my Mdac and it works perfect!
at the Moment I'm uping a smaler Version of my SD-Card to the ftp.
So wie have a 128 Mbyte VPA_german_1.11.01.nb1 in the
Magician\upload area.
I'll hope Anansky has time to flash and modify a Big Storage-File?

Ok. Moved your Uploadfile to the Vodafone DE Directory and replaced the huge file......

Hi,
I need some help. I downloaded the new VPAc Rom files. Made a backup of my German Rom. Kopied the first 416 Bytes from mine to the Vodaphone one with Hex Editor. Wrote the new file to sd-card. Got the checksum error which I ignored and bootloaded the new file into my MDAc. Got again checksum error. Also ignored.
When I now try to softreset or hardreset my MDAc all I get is the red Vodaphone bootup splash screen.
Reloaded my German T-Mobile 1.01 Rom and tried the big file. Same result.
Can anybody help?

I had the same problems. I have tried to flash the MDAc from my collegue, which had installed the Qtek WWE ROM 1.11. After some unsucessfull flashes we had a sucessfull one - but after the softreset, the Qtek splash screen does appear again and also the WWE OS was flashed.
Any ideas???

My XDA mini was bought 2 weeks ago and it's 1.12/1337.42/1.12.01GER
I've got a 128mb .nb1 file if it can help you, freshly saved from the SD card.
It should work but I not tried, just stored "in case"

This rom can be used on my Qtek 2020i ? (UNI_QTEK_13077_176_10900_WWE_Ship.exe)
what is the best way to upgrade my qtek 2020i to mobile 5 + AKU2? (English)
I want to do a full backup of the original roms also and save the backup at my PC (i got a 256MB SD for that). Any good procedure for that?

I see there is an Upgrade for the ROM/OS for the Magician which I understand should solve my SDIO Wifi card lockups ( Bios Upgrade needed) I see by the Post (UPDATE 2 - Fixes) Rom Wwe 2.03 For Htc Magician (jam) that it looks very straightforward. As I am very attached to this MDA Compact I cant afford for it to go down . Can u advise whether I can use the above 'Upgrade' with the MDA Compact which I understand is the same phone as the Magician?

oi mate it does work i tryed it on my mda
but i dont know about thw wifi thing i havent tryed that
it works..
i am using it on my o2 mini, sandisk wlan card..802.11+256 mb storage..it works good..drivers are on sandisk website...
MDA Compact Rom Upgrade
Thanks for feedback on this matter. Whats the info about BIG Storage? Is there improved memory available on this upgrade? Anyone had any bugs or problems since the Upgrade? Certain comments have been about a 'Hard Reset' before adding the extra updates? Any tips on a successful Upgrade? Probably gonna have a stiff Brandy before carrying it out!
i have htc magician and i tried to instal windows 6 but when i want to enter in bootloader the screen goes black ,he disconnects and its showing Serial/Usb V1.00 ... what should i do?i have windows mobile 2003... and I really want to have w6 help please
