Has anybody tried using one of these in their Himalayas?
http://www.adata.com.tw/en/products-f-card-sd2.htm
Is the A-Data 150x 2Gb SD Card compatible with Himalaya?
UPDATE: Works perfectly!
anybody have this card yet?
i don't think so
this is a sd card which supports new standard 1.1. so i think it will work but u can't reach full speed.
Does it drop down to a lower speed then? DO you know what speed it goes to?
it goes down to the max supported SD interface speed of the xda2

I've got the T-Mobile MDA Compact and just bought an A-Data 2GB 150x SD card - it doesn't work
The card is OK - it works with a Nikon Coolpix 3700 and O2 XDA IIs but not with my MDA compact.
Does anyone know if any of the ROM updates help SD-card compatibility?
Sh*t! I just ordered mine for an XDA II
Can anyone confirm whether it works on this device?
I'm assuming if it doesn't work on the MDA then it probably won't work on my XDA II

Hi folks - I have been reading about the Sandisk SD card with built in WiFi. Any idea if it works in a Xda II?
NO, there were other threads about it.
I'm using the normal Sandisk SD Wifi card on my device...
And it works very well... I also have the SD Wifi + 256 mb memory... well that one doesn't work!!!
Waw, good you have mentioned that, I was about to buy the SD card (wifi + 256 Mb card)!!
Sandisk specifically state that the wi-fi/256 combo will not work with xda 2 and they also state that you wont get a refund if you buy it and find out for yourself.
Hi,
I recently got a new HTC Vox however i am experiencing two particular problems.
1. My Vox does not seem to be recognizing any memory card i have tried. I have till now tried a Hama 4GB micro SDHC and a Sandisk 2GB micro SD card but to no avail.Do you know what the problem may be?
2. The second point is less urgent. When i switch on the phone i get a message informing me that my operator is not found in the database and that i should contact my operator. I am then directed to the connections screen.
If anyone could help m i would be very grateful
Thanks
1.That's strange not for the 4GB SDHC but more for the 2 GB SD. I'm using a 1GB sandisk premiere (or whatever it's called) and it is ok. I also tryaed a common SAndisk 2 GB (the cheapest one) and it worked.
2. DOn't worry about that it only means that your operator (GPRS/MMS settings could not be configured automatically because your operator's settings are not in the database of the phone. Only big carriers are pre configured in that database. If you want GPRS/MMS you should just do what you were used to do before...configure them manually
i see. thanks for that.
I'm beginning to worry that the phone itself is faulty!
if you don't mind me asking, what format did you use for the 2GB?
thanks
I Had the same problem , after my phone was in service for replacing the speakerphone, it did not recognise any memory card. I sent it back , and they replaced the motherboard.

no problem. FAT32
I have used a 4GB and a 8GB microSDHC card in my Vox without any problem.
If its not working in your phone then definitely its a problem with your device.
I suggest you try any other card(to rule out the remote possibility that your card is faulty), and if that does not help, you should take your device to the service centre.
i just bought a Kingston 8GB micro SDHC class 4 memory card but for some reason the att fuze is on recognizing the card. any1 else had/having this problem
am currently running romeos confused edition version 1.51 final
am not sure if this has been covered before but if it is please excuse me and point me in the right direction
I have the same Kingston 8GB micro SDHC class 4 memory but I never had any problem
I had this problem with a custom rom as well...some of the custom roms don't have the right settings to allow sdhc cards to work...try a hard reset or another custom rom or just go back to stock
my friend i have the same memory, with last romeos rom, without any problem!!!
return back your card because i think the problem is on your memory
Hello friends,
I was just wondering is there a way to increase the maximum micro sd card value in a windows mobile phone. I have the libra, Htc 5800 ... same thing as vox... but since its cdma im stuck on wm6 and a max of 8gb... is there ANY way i can get that to 16?
Please and thank you to anyone who reples.
Dan
never heard about devices only being able to support hdsd cards to the limit of 8gb
are you sure it's not because the spcs were written before bigger cards came out?
From what iv read.... mine from solo (its a company) with wm6 can max support 8gb only... but i know for a fact from telus who have the 6.1 pgrade out they can use 16 max... since its the same phone and just an upgrade i was wondering if there was a way to upgrade that myself
Dan
no older roms only support sd and not hdsd cards thats the issue
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=vox_roms
here are roms for your device
so there is no way to change that in the current rom i have?... and i cant run the vox roms... cuz i have a phone similar to the vox... not the same one (i have the cdma version called libra)....
Im looking to buy a new sd card for my phone (mytouch 4g slide) but im wondering if it can handle a 32 gb card? I had a 16 it was fine but will it take the 32 and not mess it up in any way?

It works with 32GB cards and apparently with 64 GB cards too:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1605134&highlight=64+gb+card
Just FYI - Your question is about 32GB card so why not change the title to what you are actually asking about? (It will make it easier to find for others who may have same question) You are posting in My Touch 4G Slide forum, so post title/question like "Mytouch 4g slide" is also redundant

I'm running a 64GB card in my phone. Once you get it formatted to FAT32 it runs perfectly.
